Food delivery was very quick, The Gnocchi All’Amatriciana was fabulous and as good as what I had in Rome. Jackie was our server and she was wonderful. Very attentive and knowledgeable.

What a gem of a place! Was in town on business and got the Convicts Pasta which is this amazing dish with porcini mushrooms and a cheesy cream sauce to die for. Great atmosphere and service as well!

I want so badly to write pages about how much I love it here, but I’m afraid that would make it hard for us to get a table next time. Suffice it to say, this is consistently the best Italian in the Valley, the bar menu is outstanding, and the wait staff is super-versed in everything that comes out of the kitchen. Get the Palermitana Pasta, a glass of whatever Jocelyn recommends, and the cheesecake.

We were there for the first time saturday and what a great place! Great layout and we even had a jazz pianist playing in our room. I had a salad to start with a raspberry type dressing that was perfect not overly sweet nor to much vinegar. I had the veal saltimbocca and it was one of the best I ever had. I am sure the chicken would as good as well. It came with a roasted potato seasoned perfectly and a small side of perfectly cooked spinach. Nice presentation too. We will definitely be back! Lots of interesting options on the menu to check out! We called for reservations and were seated promptly and the waitress was perfect. No long wait for anything. She was always checking on us. I highly recommend it!

Someone once told me that if a restaurant in New England has tablecloths on the table then you are certain that the meal will be pretty good. Well this place has tablecloths. Nuff said. This place is an «oasis» in a town where good places to eat are a scarcity. The food is top shelf… quite good. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and great seafood options. I had the special of the night which was a fillet steak in a peppercorn sauce and is probably one of the best meals that I have had in New England. I highly recommend this place.

So disappointed. Had a reservation set a month in advance for 5 people at 7:30. We arrive a little early to an empty hostess stand. When she finally returns she nods me in and literally starts screaming«Meghan, Meghan» to seat another table. We waited twenty five minutes past our reservation time and when we finally get seated(in the basement) it’s at a table for four. We explain reservation was for five and so she wanted to just stick a chair in the edge of an already cramped table. I asked what else we could do. She explained we could wait but it would be the same table setup anyway. So we stayed. Our waitress could not have been more agreeable. The food was mediocre but then two of the five of us got sick on the way home. I definitely will never go back

This may have been the best meal we have ever had! The scallop appetizer and calamari salad are to die for. The calamari was so tender. Our waiter was amazing. I don’t think New York restaurants can beat this place. The owners are wonderful. Thank you for another fabulous dinner. The best ever!

The first time I was there for dinner, I had the best seafood risotto I’d ever had. My husband was also very happy with his steak. We loved the place so much we returned a 2nd time within 2 weeks and ordered the same exact meals. Alas, that time the food was just«great,» not«the best,» so we left disappointed by the lack of consistency in our experience. Both times we did receive stellar service, however. Also, bonus points for having a grand piano in the dining room; perhaps they offer live music on certain nights. The ambience is elegant and intimate but not pretentious with candlelight and white linen tablecloths.

First you’re greeted by a beautiful, charming hostess who greets you with a great smile and is anxious to get you seated ASAP. I started with an appetizer, the scallops sauteed with butter.AWESOME. Then I started with something new, the Veal Saltimbocca. The combination of ingredients made my mouth water with happiness. Then I let the bartender pair me with a wine choice to test their abilities. Best wine pair I’ve ever had. TRULY A 5STARRESTAURANTWITHEXCELLENTSERVICE, FOODANDPROFESSIONALISM I’ll be going on a monthly basis from now on. Especially on weekends when they have a romantic Jazz pianist trio playing. I highly recommend you put this on your list of Restaurants to visit soon.

I came here with my mother(reviewed below), my 3 children, my sister, my husband and extended family and we all received top notch service. The scallops were indeed delicious & I will second that the steak with a gorgonzola topping was one of the Top 5 steak’s I’ve ever tasted. Going back, I tried a variation of calamari & linguini with shrimp which was great. Compared to our norm, I found a $ 35.00 bottle of wine very reasonable. Definitely will come back!

Attire: Dressy — Not really! Ambience: Intimate — Not really! Noise Level: Quiet — Not really! By 7pm we had to shout to be heard. We had a pleasant dinner at Alina’s, but it wasn’t because the food was«world class». It was not. We had a pleasant evening because we enjoyed each others’ company and the wait staff was EXCELLENT. We arrived as the doors were opened, which was a good thing as the crowd descended fairly quickly and the noise level skyrocketed. The food was average at best. We ordered the crab cake appetizer. Each cake was round, and probably similar in size to a golf ball. Three per order. Ours bordered on raw, although they were tasty. Two of us had a pasta dish that was so spicy hot it was difficult to eat — and we like spicy! The scallops in the dish were delicious and cooked to perfection; most of the pasta remained on the plate. We will give Alina’s another try, and will order based on experience, with a more careful eye to the menu and more careful questioning of the server. It is worth a second try. I want to like Alina’s, but the second time has to be the charm or it will be the last time…

Alina’s is a World Class Restaurant! The scallop appetizer is unforgettable and the Zuppa de Pesce, outstanding. Our table of eight was attended to with the utmost courteousness and professionalism and the Ambiance was elegant, yet warm and welcoming. My Son-In Law ordered the Bistecca«Ncky D» which we of course all sampled and agreed that it was one of the best Steaks any of us have had anymore. The pasta dishes were very much enjoyed and the Calamari was to die for. The wine list was also impressive as was the personal attention given to us by the Chef and his Wife, throughout the evening. I think Alina’s Ristorante is a true gem in the Valley and truly worth a trip. I can’t wait to return!

First time there tonight. Nice place. People great! Food, a little disappointed. Ordered a spicy pasta dish. Now I like my food hot but the food should still have flavor. And my husband bought the $ 30 steak and asked for it cooked Medium, and the inside was almost rare. Not a good experience for the price.

Clean food. ingredients presented in their fresh, whole, natural, but well seasoned state. Someone in that kitchen knows what they are doing. Garlic shrimp, well seasoned and acidically balanced. brasato, a phenominal well rounded hearty meaty plate with a stick to your ribs type braised in veal reduction. black garlic beef: seared beautifully, sweet, salty, black, garlicky, buttery and pretty. linguine Alina, creamy essence of lobster and shelfish with lots of seafood, rosemary and capers. strange combination but keeps you digging for another forkfull. All phenomenal flavors and presentation. Although slightly noisy, every thing about this place including the service easily makes up for it. 5 stars ALLTHEWAY.
