Ice cream + a nostalgic experience! Of course you’re going to have ice cream at the shore but this place is in itself a unique place to visit. Even the bathrooms are filled with memorabilia. The girl talking our order was so patient and kept telling me «no rush» as another employee took another order to move things along. Very friendly!

This place is awesome. They have a menu to meet all types of allergies. It’s great for the little ones. My little guy can’t go anywhere and get an ice cream cone he talks about it all year that he can’t wait to go to the place that he can have ice cream with everyone. Thank you so much and a big thumbs up on service and atmosphere.

The atmosphere in this place is great. Lots of neat things to look at. I would give it five stars if it wasn’t so pricey, and if they took credit cards it would be more convenient. It is definitely worth going and taking a look at all the neat things they have on display.

We love it here. Everyone is always so friendly. They have a variety of Sunday’s, milk shakes and even food but we tend to stick to the soft serve. I wish they were open year round!

Honestly it is absolutely ridiculous to have any sort of business in this particular area that doesn’t accept cards. Sorry, I’m not paying your over-priced costs for your ice cream in addition to what my bank charges me to use your special ATM. Their ATM has their own surcharge, plus whatever your bank charges you. Trying to get two cones and expecting to pay less than 20 $? Impossible if you need to get cash there. What a scam. The ice cream is no better than the Breyers you can get at the superfresh for 2.99 $. Don’t fall for the trap. Buy your own ice cream. Honestly I’m only giving one star because zero stars isn’t an option. I would literally walk from east 13th, to the boardwalk, down to the second pier to get Kohrs Frozen Custard, enjoy it on my walk back, and enjoy a nice walk home before I would walk a literal stone’s-throw away from this place for sub-par ice cream at premium bullshit prices. Or, you could go to the Superfresh on 26th and get some Ben and Jerry’s for less money, and better quality AND quantity. Get a whole pint of awesome ice cream instead of a scoop of their awful ice cream.

Cool Scoops is a great place for the entire family. My son has a severe peanut allergy, he can not get ice cream anywhere because of his allergy. At Cool Scoops they carefully make sure all utensils, ingredients, bowls etc are cleaned and peanut free.(separate spoon and napkin in a sealed plastic bag) for those who have allergies. We have gone there for years and highly recommend Cool Scoops.

This is a cute place. They have lots of flavors and sundaes. Cash only. A little pricey, but we would go back.

Very cool atmosphere. It’s like going back to the 50′/60’s. Cadillac booth seats and black cows on the menu, my kind of place. The ice cream is always top notch(this is a yearly destination for us on vacation), and they won’t break the bank.

Hands down, the best! Don’t even bother going anywhere else anytime I do I am so disappointed. First of all, this place is fun. There is so much memorabilia from the 50’s and 60’s throughout. I see something new every time I am there. There’s so much you just can’t see it all in one visit. Their ice cream is the best on the island and they offer dairy free for those who allergic or just don’t do dairy. I am gluten free and they even have a gluten free cone that is so yummy. Don’t be out off by long lines they’re very efficient.

Cool Scoops is the perfect ice cream shop for a night out with family/friends. They have so much memorabilia to look through in each room, with plenty of tables to sit at, as well as old fashioned soda fountain style bar seating. They have a ton of ice cream flavors/sundaes/floats/milkshakes, etc, AND they have vegan ice cream with is always a huge plus, especially down the shore! This place gets a big 2 thumbs up from me! I can’t wait to go back!

So I run into this problem every year in Wildwood. I crave ice cream on a Sunday night when everything is closed. I called up Cool Scoops and they were open for another hour! Stopped in and man, I wish we ate in because the décor was stunning. I tried a couple flavors before settling on a custard twist but I would love to go back and get something different every day. Their bathroom was also decorated really intricately and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Awesome family stop for well priced ice cream in a variety of flavors :)

Cool Scoops has a neat 50s theme throughout, with 50s car booths to sit in, working juke boxes, and a myriad number of other pieces of memorabilia. So it’s fun for both kids and adults. It’s located right on Jersey Ave. with a decent amount of parking on the front and side if the building. As far as the ice cream goes, they have a pretty long list of flavors. I went twice on my vacation and had a banana spilt and the just vanilla bean with hot fudge. The banana split was done perfectly and hot fudge was hot!

I have been to other places that try to feature nostalgia. While some are successful and some are not, Cool Scoops does it right!!! The atmosphere is amazing and will keep people happy for generations to come. The ice cream is delicious with a wide variety of favors being offered. The workers are great and have a perfect system in place when it comes to taking your order all the way through to fulfilling and paying for the order.

My favorite place in North Wildwood. The amount of nostalgic memorabilia is mind numbing. I love that I can get a completely dairy-free milkshake at the beach. Kudos and if you are in the area, stop here first!

Went again this year and Cool Scoops is a life saver! They now offer vegan vanilla, chocolate, and wild berry flavors. They even have a dedicated list of vegan toppings which include marshmallow topping, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, peanuts, oreos, fruity pebbles, and more! The people who work here are really, really nice and it was a joy to come in a few times. They are highly sensitive to allergies — everything is labeled and they even have separate scoops and even spoons in baggies to ensure no cross-contamination. Thank you guys so much!

This ice cream shop is a MUST see when vacationing in Wildwood. It is a museum of 50’s nostalgia and you will never forget your visit. The owner is a super nice person too and take great pride in his establishment, and it shows! Sit in a 50’s car booth!

What a find! This is my first time in wildwood with my mother and sister, and being women, we needed our ice cream fix. Although our hotel is directly across from another ice cream place, we opted to drive a short distance and I am so happy we did. This place is not only an ice cream shop, but a museum! Memorabilia everywhere along with autographs, pictures, old cars, ads, signs, I couldn’t focus on one thing. My mom definitely enjoyed it the most, seeing things that she was brought up with and reminiscing on «way back when.» The ambiance was unbeatable and of course, the ice cream was delicious. Without a doubt, we will be back.
