My absolute favorite restaurant on Cape Cod. Staff is friendly and the food is always top-notch. It is a 45 minute drive for me each way and totally worth it. I usually have the daily preparation of squid, because no matter what they do with the squid it’s tremendous. The regular menu is all good, and the specials can be sublime. I was there last night for my birthday dinner and my date described the dessert special(marscapone cheese cake over spiced nectarines) as «sex on a fork».

Great little local restaurant!!! In 2014 my wife and I visited Luna and had a great intimate dinner for two. I remember tasty drinks and equally tasty food. We liked it so much, we decided to have our wedding dinner here in Sept 2015. We were a party of 12 and had a great time. We had dropped off flowers earlier in the day so our 1 long table looked great. They prepared us 4 appetizers family style: olives, mussels, artichoke pâté and polenta with mushrooms. Everything was great and in perfect proportions. For salads and entrees, everyone ordered off the menu. A mixture of dishes were ordered and everyone was very satisfied with their meals. Fish, pasta, seafood, duck… it was all good! Several different wines and specialty drinks kept everyone happy. A mint/lemon non alcoholic cocktail was also excellent. We had cake and continued the party at a beach house but I remember deserts being excellent the first time we had been there. Terra Luna did a great job at making dinner a special part of our wedding day!

The food here is delicious, well presented and the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. We have been for breakfast and dinner. Reservations only accepted for 8 or more but there is plenty of seating so you will most likely get in with your smaller party. Enjoy! Apps are great and a meal within themselves. But make sure you do order a meal, everything is fresh and delish. Dietary concerns no problem … something for everyone.

I go here whenever I’m in Truro. It’s rather loud, but I love the cozy interior and the tasty food!

The service here is HORRIBLE!!! No hospitality at all. Please stay away. My family and I came in here on a Saturday evening and right away j could tell we were not going to be attended to. No one welcomed us or greeted us. Didn’t receive water for 10 minutes. The food was okay, not amazing. Either way if the food was the best I ever ate I will not return due to the lack of hospitality. I felt like an inconvenience there the whole night and was treated as such. Either step your customer service up, Terra Luna, or I won’t be the first customer you lose. Check out Ceraldi(in Welfleet) instead if you’re looking for great, fresh, seasonal Italian food on the cape. They treat you wonderfully there and the food was AMAZING!

Would have to agree with some of the other Unilocalers on here. Saturday night, late August, severely understaffed and just poor service all around. Someone mentioned sporadic drinks and no bread — and that’s exactly what we received. We watched tables in front and behind us receive bread and we even had the same waiter! Owner or manager? sat us down with no drink menu. After about 5 minutes, our waiter asked us if we would like to order drinks but we didn’t even know what you guys were serving! So he left and didn’t come back with water or bread and we didn’t see much of him for a while. Once he came over, he spared us 5 minutes of his time and we heard the specials and ordered cocktails. Water came, then drinks, then apps. goat cheese app and skillet roasted olives, very yummy! Entrees were then brought out and also very delicious. Although my sisters Vegan dish had undercooked beans and way over salted artichokes. Dessert was brought out, the espresso ice cream was also really good. We were unfortunately never really attended to through out the meal, for example, more napkins, a dropped fork etc. We received the check and passed the bill off to the waiter. Time goes by and you would think on a Saturday night the restaurant would like to free up the table quickly but we sat around for 10/15mins and had to ask our waiter where our cards were. The owner or manager?, who never really introduced himself to us, brought the bill out and explained it was our cards fault because he had to swipe it multiple times for it to work. Sounded like a complete excuse and seemed rather rude and arrogant to blame us for waiting, especially when we see you chatting with other tables. I’d maybe give it another shot, but I doubt it. plenty of other lovely places on the cape.

One of the top five best meals I ever had. Fig and goat cheese app was wonderful! Bread was warm. I had the swordfish special. All was just terrific.

Food was good but don’t order Tuna the service is excellent. Like the quiet small local atmosphere. Like the cozy feel yet not a noisy resturant.

Ordered a special and it was very tasty. This was our second visit. Both appetizer(artichoke pâté) and entrees were luke warm. Service, from someone who seemed new to waitressing, was poor this time but outstanding previously. I go there for the unique flavors that knock my socks off, even if it’s just warm on the plate. It’s definitely worth it to stop in for a delicious dinner!

I stayed at a cottage down the street and this was the closest place to eat. The ambiance is quaint and charming, the service is excellent, and the food is perhaps the best that I’ve eaten in Cape Cod. The foods are all locally grown, and the freshness shows. This is foodie heaven, and the service by Kelly was fantastic. Easily accessible by the North Truro shuttle from PTown, this is an excellent option worth making the short trek over.

Beautiful little cottage style restaurant. Parking is out front but is limited. We waiting 2 minutes and a spot opened up. Great cocktails and super strong. Well worth the $ 11. We ordered the fig and cheese app as we had seen a review on Unilocal.Very good starter. Mixed with honey. It is only for one person. My wife got two starters for her meal. The side salad was large enough to be an entrée. She also got the Polenta which she enjoyed. I ordered the Straw and Hay. A mix of spinach and spaghetti with chicken. Very tasty. $ 3PBR was the drink of choice for me. Overall, very nice dinner and atmosphere.

i only stopped in for a snack and cocktails, but i was really impressed with the quality of both! i was not expecting it to be a great cocktail place but it was, with a few different varieties of infused vodkas. plus, it was walking distance from our rental = no driving(thumbs up). i hope to return next year!

I was looking for a light bite as we got into town late. I had the bluefish pâté and the portobello salad. Both delicious. Husband had chicken thighs with roasted red pepper. Also very tasty indeed!

This place is as good as it gets! I ate with a large group and we all shared our meals family style. The pork chops and salmon were stand out delicious. The french Malbec wine was very tasty. The desserts were out of this world good! Tony, the owner, is a great guy and extremely funny! The space is the icing on the cake with its funky, rustic vibe. If you are in the outer cape looking for a great meal, you have to check this place out!

This place oozes with charm! Four of us went out to celebrate ton ight. Everything was fabulous! Some good Portuguese wine. Fab desserts. The salad was good. Clams and pasta fab, fresh tuna moist and in a nice sauce. Goatcheese with figs appetizer was divine, combo flavors Loved it. Beautiful paintings by the owners hung on the walls. Waitress was nice but not knowledgable. But it was fine.

Amazing food, staff and vibe. Highly recommended! The owner Tony is a visionary with his unique cuisine in this beautiful wooden room. Creative drinks at the bar, absinthe, local fish, squid and lots more. I thoroughly enjoy all my visits to Tera Luna.

Since we could walk to Terra Luna from our cottage, thought we should give it a try. We grabbed seats at the bar. Bar height was nearly at my chest and I am 6’2″. Felt like a baby in a high chair. My wife ordered a marguerita and I ordered a «new» old fashioned(bacon infused bourbon and maple syrup). The marguerita was quite tart. but was delivered quickly. The old fashioned took an extra 10 minutes. It was the highlight of my experience, however. From there we ordered 2 apps. A broiled oyster dish which was coated with greasy breadcrumbs and arrived lukewarm, and pan seared squid which was undercooked(raw, actually) and tasteless. After having the squid removed from our tab, it was just under $ 40 for 2 drinks and one appetizer. Bah!

Our party of 3 waited for a cool night to venture out to this restaurant due to lack of air conditioning. I called to reserve a table for 3 at 7:30pm. Someone from her car phone my cell with an unusual response. «We only serve parties of 5 or more at that time» and«if you come by 6:30 we may get a table». What! I’ve been there many times and could not imagine that small place with a large party policy. We went earlier and, after the host checked an almost empty chart, were seated. The entire time we were there, there was only 1 table of 5 guests. The service was god awful. Way understaffed. Our server was either incompetent or severely overwhelmed. No bread. Sporadic drinks. Long intervals been dishes. No one asked if we like our food etc… However, it appears that the specials were the better choice, especially the mussels. The disorganization was so disturbing that our order became a chore for us and the server. BTW, no Amex
