The food it good, in some ways too good. I want to believe their motto «Home Cookin in a Hurry» but it’s hard to imagine if the Home Cookin part is accurate. It all feels like pretty highly processed stuff. I guess you’d expect that from a fast food joint, but for the prices, I expect a little more. The service was «ok», and the inside doesn’t seem very clean. To be fair, the decorations are very, very old. So, maybe it’s clean but just looks super old. I’m not sure. I’ve only been to this location once.

Their service is pretty consistent when we go there. I always get Country Fried Steak there with the kids. Their sweet tea is sweet! Careful what you wish for when you order that. Everything is just as good as I remember it when I ate there as a kid. Southern goodness in a flash!

Went back to Grandy’s today and Cedric totally redeemed my experience. If only all employees cared as much as he does!

I was very upset when I went to Grandy’s the other day. Not only did they not have drink carriers after they told me they did but the guy working the drive thru was to busy talking and laughing with a coworker to put the lids on my drinks correctly. Also the food was thrown in the bag and sauce was everywhere when I took it out of the bag at home. Then since the drink lids where not on right, the first corner I went around one of the culs spilled all over me. This is not a very good customer oriented business. At least not the day I went. Very disappointed.

I just had my first Grandy’s experience ever, well at least outside of the one in the zoo which I’ve been told isn’t a real grandys. Not really bad but not really good either … I do agree its much better than what they had at the zoo. $ 18 – 19 bucks for a meal for two that something I could have gotten somewhere else for about $ 5 bucks less somewhere else. Bread was good, and mashed potatoes were good for the cafeteria grade they were.
Honestly I don’t think I’ll go back unless my husband just really wants to but there are just so many other options that I’d rather do than this one within a block of this location.

Pretty good southern food [with a drive thru! how convenient] at a pretty low price. Almost like an IHOP on wheels, or something.
May I mention that the Sinnamon rolls have raisins and nuts in them, which isnt exactly my cup of tea, so I figured I should let others know.
