A great place to eat. A local favorite and a must eat to believe. The food is wonderful. The service is amazing. They make you feel like family! Top notch she crab soup and I love the hush puppies.

Loved the shrimp and fish platter. The homemade cocktail and tarter sauce was awesome. We were looking for a local place for seafood that was not a buffet. We found our new favorite place. Cups never empty and such great service!

WOW!!! This is a hole in the wall and when we pulled up the hubby said, «UM, really? We passed all those nice looking places to eat and you brought us HERE?» LOL… I was persistent and we went in… We were greeted upon entering and brought «Hushpuppies from Heaven» as the hubby called them, and from there the gems kept coming! The flounder was great, the crab legs were fabulous and the fried cheesecake was unbelievable (I don’t even like cheesecake and I loved it)! By the time we left, we felt like family… We will definitely be back to this place!

Super cute little seafood joint! We’ll be back for sure when in town. Homemade dressings are so good (jalapeño ranch with fried green beans!) we almost had the hole tube of tater sauce with our delicious fried seafood. Even the hush puppies were fantastic brought out with sweet honey butter. Oh and we also managed to eat fried cheesecake, doused with strawberries and blueberry sauce. Staff by far 5 stars! Thanks for a great experience

Great food at a reasonable price. Extremely friendly staff. Small and not a big buffet that serves tons of mediocre crap they label as seafood. I had the baked red snapper, it was excellent! Our family all shared a piece of fried cheesecake and it was amazingly good! I will go back to this place whenever I am in town.

Hush puppies were fantastic. The rest of the food was below average.

Ate here while on vacation and could not have been any more pleased. Super friendly staff and great seafood. Our party had combo of crab cakes, shrimp, scallops, and grouper. All food got great reviews. I had crab cakes which were hand breaded perfectly and served with tasty sauce. Took the cheesecake home because we left to stuffed to eat another bite. This will be on our must eat at places next time we’re in town.

Wonderful experience. Tonight we (my sister. Her two children, 4 & 6, and her hubby) had dinner here. I had the mahi mahi special, Stephanie had the pick 3 platter with broiled shrimp, fried shrimp and deviled crab, the children had a grilled cheese & chicken fingers, and Mike enjoyed the pick 2 with scallops & fried shrimp. Everything was tasty but what really shined was the friendliness of the wait staff. They could not have been nicer. If you are looking for a casual seafood restaurant, look no further.

Food was really good and what I would expect near the ocean. Crab cake sandwich is definitely something I would order again and the hush puppies were really good. I have 5 stars because the customer service was nothing short of amazing. Our waitress was extremely nice and made it feel like you were eating at your aunts or moms house. Complete with hugs at the end. Will definitely be back.

My family and I came to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break. While here we came to Goodfellas for lunch one Saturday. We absolutely enjoyed it! The server was awesome. She was so nice and pleasant. She was knowledgeable of the menu and was even helpful with ways to save money. My husband and I were able to have a drink with our delicious meal and our kids enjoyed their meals as well. The hush puppies were amazing and so was the fried cheesecake. When visiting Myrtle Beach, you have to come here! You won’t be disappointed.

The waitress was super friendly and attentive. I would have given her five stars. The food came out quickly. My two kids and I got a pick-​3 seafood combo and it was enough for all of us. The popcorn shrimp was good but the broiled scallops were hard and rubbery.
I figured they might do a discount because the scallops were so horrible, but they charged full price.
We would probably try it once more just in case it was a fluke, but will never get the scallops again.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! it’s right next to the huge Kligg’s Kites Superstore. The food was great but Michelle and Brooke’s customer service skills were amazing.
They started us off with a basket of hush puppies with An amazing honey butter spread. The fish was one of the softest fish but fried to crispy perfection. The crab soup was delicious. The Buffalo shrimp were hot. well we ordered hot, and we loved it. To top off everything at the end the fried cheesecake was to die for.
Before we left the lovely ladies gave us all a hug!

Always a great place to eat, either lunch, dinner or both! Super hush puppies, delicious seafood. Daily and fun mystery lunch! Don’t pass this place without eating here! Owners Brooke and Michelle always send you home with a smile and a hug!

This is a gem! Went for lunch while visiting Barefoot Landing. A real fun place where you are greeted by the owner and treated so very special! Food was excellent! Fish so fresh you’d think it was just caught! Scallops were also wonderful according to those who had them. AND, fried cheesecake! Wow! Will definitely return to this super place!

Great service and food. Oysters and Scallops were light and juicy. The waitresses, Doris and Michelle, are warm and friendly. They make you feel like you’re family. Lunch Specials under $ 10. Thanks.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! After reading the reviews on here I knew I had to try this place and I am so glad I did! You can’t miss this place it’s right next to the huge Kligg’s Kites Superstore
From the moment we walked in the door we felt very welcomed. The waitresses were so sweet and funny. They all were walking around talking to everyone and most of the customers they seemed to remember or know. They all serve all the tables so you don’t just have one waitress which was great for my boyfriend who can go through 5 cokes in no time.
They started us off with a basket of hushpuppies which were so good that I had to have another order, I am a bit obsessed with hushpuppies I pretty much can tell by the hushpuppies if the rest of the food is good. These are possibly the best I have ever had! We started off with a bowl of the seafood gumbo which was yummy and just the right size. We decided to share our entrees and get 2lbs of Alaskan Crab Legs (4 clusters) and the Creamy Shrimp Scampi everything was delicious! The crab legs were cooked perfectly and the scampi was loaded with shrimp. I could barely move after our meal but my boyfriend wanted to try the triple chocolate cheesecake, well of course I had to take a bite! It was so hard not to eat the whole slice it was heaven.
Our bill was $ 73 which I thought was great for everything we got. We left a $ 20 tip because of how great and friendly the girls were. They all walk you to the door when you leave and will run to you if you try to leave without getting your hug first lol I will definitely when I’m back in the area in a few months!

Two words… HUSH PUPPIES
Service… We were promptly greeted with a smile, sat, and then checked in on regularly. Serve staff is friendly. We got a «ya’all come back soon» and hugs from our waitress before we left.
Atmosphere…basic, clean, decent music but quietly played over intercom. Family type restaurant.
Food…fried cheese was ok. The hush puppies are out of this freakin world. If you gave me a giant pile of them id eat nothing but the hush puppies for an entire meal. I’m going to order a batch to go. Shrimp scampi and pasta were good but needed salt. Better to under season though. Alaskan snow crab legs were awesome.
Drinks…sun kissed and margarita were good it both were on the sweet side.
Two thumbs up for service, price and food quality. Overall 4star reviews accurately represent what you’ll receive at Good Fellas.

Pretty sure all of the wait staff was drunk except maybe one person who was kind enough to tell us why our order was taking so long. The server we had was extremely rude, had no people skills to speak of, no self-​awareness. When we asked about specials she seemed annoyed and huffed and puffed as she went to the front of the restaurant, picked up the specials board, carried it to our area blocking another guest into their booth, saying «You aren’t going anywhere are you.» The food took quite some time to prepare and had she told us that there was a party of 16 in front of us we would have certainly understood. Instead, we waited a half hour before a sweet waitress came to us to let us know what was going on.
Overall, the food was pretty good, but honestly we could have gone somewhere else and had more professional servers. There were others in the restaurant that were noticeably aggravated. As we were leaving they offered a hug which we all had to take part in. Very awkward, didn’t make up for the weird experience. I will never go back and would encourage everyone to try a different place.
