Billy’s Pub Too

The bar is good the Resturant Mr Cobb’s is not good the manager of the restaurant is the worst business owner. He is rude very unprofessional. He needs an attitude adjustment.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Regardless, I came here because a friend told me to come here after work so I decided to try it. The food was less than average the Mac and cheese disgusting. The pulled pork was OK but didn’t come with fries. The bartender did not relay this message. I asked originally for the pulled pork sliders but apparently they didn’t have the buns for them ok cool. I asked for ketchup for my fries 30 minutes later still no fries. I asked for a manager and the manager on duty was to busy making out with a guest to attend to a guest. The manager on duty also became argumentative with me when I was telling him that the food and the service wasn’t that great he kept telling me that they were a bar also claimed he was billy which come to find out billy isn’t a human but rather a cat… he tried to make up his arguing with a guest with shots of fireball which made no sense buying us a round instead of just taking the food off but I guess he tried. Never coming back to this establishment…

Pretty much have a stick up your ass if you can’t let your hair down and dive in to this friendly fun atmosphere. Eclectic mix of people. Awesome food that surpasses traditional bar fare. Bar tenders are on point and great conversationalists. I’ve enjoyed every visit I’ve made here immensely. Easy to access with free parking in the rear. Outside bar is perfection for those who enjoy fresh air and a more subdued environment. When you’re ready to kick up your heels and shoot pool or dance to the always well mixed music, head inside for more fun. Look no further. This place hits all the bases.

I don’t know how the food is because the service was so terrible I walked out. I must’ve been the first customer here today, as they would say the waitress probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Her hair was as if she hadn’t brushed it in a month.
I walked in the restaurant and there was no one there to greet me it was if she was playing games on her cell phone in the office I had to announce myself three times before she came out of the office
When I ask if they were open from lunch sh“e said yes as I sit down ready to order she asked what do you want”, I responded well that this is the restaurant I would like to order lunch.
She told me to go ahead but she didn’t know when the food would be ready because the chef had not arrived in the kitchen yet?
Wow lunchtime? I was so surprised. Then why does your sign say «open for lunch»?? She was dumb founded and so was I so I left.
I would never go back to this restaurant because of the service

Only tried the wings so far, they were good. Kitchen closed at 2am, will return to try other items and play some 8ball.

Yup, it’s a dive. But as far as dives go — this is probably the friendliest/​nicest one you’ll find in North Miami.
Good size for the amount activity going on inside. Relatively cheap drinks, clean bathrooms, attentive staff, safe/​free/​nearby parking — all add up to a solid dive.
My only knock is the sketchy-​at-​times club located right next door. But there always seems to be an officer posted at the entrance, at least giving off the illusion of safety.

THIS PLACE IS HOME FOR ME!!! I love Billy’s Pub, I am an regular here. My cousin and I try going here at least three times a week. Drinks are great and not expensive. Also not made weak like a lot of other bars do. I love the dive bar feel of this place. We always play darts and pool. The bartenders are awesome especially TARA. She is amazing! Friday nights are my favorite because the DJ is playing, and plays the BEST music. The food here is also amazing. I always order the ribs or the chicken tenders. Made fresh and are delicious. This place has a very laid back feel and is perfect to pre-​party or to end your night. Stays open until 5am. Everyone here is super friendly, all the regulars are like a family. Mikey Munday is also a frequent here so that is cool to see. If you’re looking for a great time I HIGHLY recommend checking out this place.

Beware!!! After reading so many good reviews I decided to try this place out with my girlfriend, first off walking in was weird. the ambiance was not welcoming at all. This place is smoked fill and couldn’t look dirtier but then again what dive bar doesn’t so we decided to still give it a chance. After sitting down our waitress came by and asked us straight out what do you want. Without even giving us a menu or anything. We ended up ordering the ribs and some drinks, I honestly thought the drinks tasted funny but the ribs were actually really good. After some time we both began to feel dizzy and sick I thought we might have had something put in our drinks or maybe the onsets of food poisoning from the food. We ended spending the rest of the night sick to our stomachs and didn’t feel better until two days later !! I would never return to this place apart from the weird scene and feeling that I was actually poisoned I would give this place minus stars if I could. Stay away!

This is a nice spot for a casual night with friends. Ten of us went after school one day and there was more than enough room. We could’ve had 40 friends come and it still wouldn’t have felt crowded. It’s much bigger inside than it looks. They have outdoor seating under and awning, a large inside with a bar, pool table, music etc. It is smokey in here so be prepared for that, but it’s one of the cheapest places you’ll be able to drink at in Miami. haven’t had the food, but their happy hour lasts forever and I’ve heard their ribs are great. Some may say this is a college bar because it’s so close to Barry University, Johnson and Wales, and FIU, but there are plenty of people in their late 20s, 30s and older. I’m interested in going to the Kill the Keg night, so I’ll have to round up my friends for that one Thursday.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal I decided to try the ribs. The service was OK, but the ribs were too tough!!!

Great dive bar with amazing food and amazing bar tenders on the patio. My co-​worker and I stumbled across this place and loved it.
Great atmosphere, great drinks, and the BBQ was on point.

I can’t believe I’ve never written a review of Billy’s. I LOVE Billy’s. This has been my favorite bar in Miami for quite some time. The drinks are cheap (happy hour until midnight!), the crowed is so diverse (all walks of life are here.) The night is always fun. Food is good. Wings are great. Cheese fries are tasty. Pulled pork sandwich is yummy.
Staff is real. Some call this a dive, but it’s really just an awesome neighborhood bar where everyone is welcome.
Back patio with ping pong. Pool tables. Jukebox. DJs on certain nights. Free parking. You really can’t beat this place. It’s amazing.

Easily the best dive bar in North Miami. Ample parking (right by North Miami Police Dept so you know its safe). Cheap ass drinks and The best frikking Food from Mr Cobbs BBQ. He has a trailer sized smoker out back so this aint you’re run-​off-​the-​mill ribs that you could get at Fridays or Chillis! He also has all the other great drunk food and its all Delish!
As far as the bar goes. The staff are great and super friendly. I am close with all of them (Shout outs to Marie! Smokey! Elaine! Emily!) Inside bar with plenty of space, multiple TV’s showing all the games or whatever you want if no games are on. 4 pool tables with a good crowd. Outside bar has plenty of space too, beer-​pong, ping-​pong and more cheap-​ass-​drinks!
For music they occasionally have live bands, but it is mostly jukebox powered. The box has a wide selection of old and new and is updated regularly. Sound is also pretty good with all types of music.
I am a regular fixture after work on weeknights. Its totally worth it if you wanna get food, get drunk or just catch up on all the games. Must check this place out!

Perfect dive bar. For what a true dive bar should be. It’s a vice u need a fix or a local hangout this is it

Very great bar with 4 pool tables and enjoyable atmosphere. I enjoy the music and the food. Could use more pool tables if possible to expand.

I don’t know why its taken me so long to write a review for this place, but I’m literally here like every couple of weeks or so! The people are weird but they’re fun to watch and the drinks are cheap – like DIRT CHEAP! You can get quite drunk rather quickly and then feast on the ribs that Mr. Cobb offers from the smoker out back as they’re easily one of the best in South Florida.
Between the people, the pool tables, the jukebox, food and the drinks, you WILL NOT have a bad time there unless you just don’t know how to have a good time, but you should just show up to have a good time anyway… Its a bar for God’s sake.

Ok, I was driving through on a Sunday. Needed a place to plop down for a few, have a beer and watch some March Madness… Billy’s Pub Too seemed to fit the bill so I stopped around back and parked in the free lot behind the bar.
Wasn’t expecting much. I walked through their outdoor beer garden. I was tempted to just stop there but decided to go inside because it was hot. Glad I did.
The inside was much bigger than I expected. A few pool tables dominated one side of the room and the large, long ovular bar dominated the other side.
Flittering about inside the oval was Monk. The cutest, sassiest, kickassist bartender you will ever meet. At once genuinely friendly and charming this barkeep made sure everyone’s glass was filled and all had smiles on faces. To say I was smitten is an understatement!
Happy Hour is just about everyday from 4-​midnight. Lots of beer on tap. Food as well, though I didn’t have any this time.
Stop in get to know the locals, have a few and relax in a dive bar that knows how to have fun.

I been coming here since it was a Big Daddy’s liqueur store and bar! I used to come here with my dad was still buying booze at the store! I would sneak into the bar while he was shopping and promptly get kicked out! Then the store closed. They knocked down a wall and then it became a Flanigans. Now it’s been my favorite watering hole in my Adult life. The bar has not changed since I snuck in as a kid!
I’ve seen Billy’s evolve a lot but it’s still a place where the beer is cold and the drinks are cheap! From happy hour to coming here after a night on the town it’s still a fun place. I like how they have a outside area with ping pong tables, tv’s and a bar! Foods good and cheap but who cares if you had a few already and need something to soak up the booze in you! Everytime I come here I run into someone I know from school or the hood! This place caters to North Miami locals so it’s not a South Beach bar! Good place to have a good time!

Great bar. I’ve visited probably 20 or so times in my lifetime. They have plenty of drinks and different types of people. They have a bar inside and outside. It is smoking inside so be aware. They also have a pin pong table, pool tables, and darts.
They best is the fact that they are open late every night.

So I was skeptical about going to a dive bar, anywhere in Miami.
When I got invited to go to Billy’s Pub Too, I was like, ehh? Sure… (Crickets)
Man, was I wrong! This place is awesome, it is a dive bar, but it’s such a laid back bar other around you don’t even care what’s going on next to them.
They play all types of genre of music, they have food. Their chicken wings are up there with my favorites. I definitely recommend the lemon-​pepper wings.
