Mr. Cobbs BBQ

I placed an order for delivery. It was supposed to be here in 20 – 30 min. Well an hour goes by and nothing. So I call. They canceled the order because they didn’t have a driver. No call or anything. I checked my online info and my phone number was there and correct. Its super sad that this is what customer service has come down to!

Since I’m from Texas I know BBQ and had to try it. Hands down some good damn food. Rib tips, baked beans, and fries.

Looking through my GrubHub app, not wanting to trek out into holiday traffic or cook, I stumbled upon Mr Cobb’s and decided to do a delivery order… After all, it piqued my curiosity that a BBQ joint even exists in nearby North Miami (I’m in Miami Shores) that actually delivers!
Yes, it was the owner himself who delivered it, too!!!

I also appreciated the fact that the food was so hot, you’d think it was just out of the kitchen… Everything was looking good from the get-​go…
I’m a strong believer in tasting the ribs AND the chicken when trying out any new barbecue place, so I went with a rack and a 5-​piece wing and they did NOT disappoint!!!
The smoky hickory and/​or mesquite was just perfect on these toothsome ribs and the wings (though, we went with spicy, not barbecue) were as good as any I’ve ever tried.
I liked the slaw quite a bit and the Mac & Cheese and the fries were good, as well.
Keep doing what you’re doing, Mr Cobb!!! This is a legitimate BBQ place in North Miami!!!

Mrs. Paaaaaarker Mrs. Parkeer. When you gonna let me hit those wings again? This BBQ spot is out of sight. Every time I’m in N. Miami this is where I’m going. I feel like Francis Underwood in the House of Cards. #FingerLickinGood.

They started out pretty good, but my last three orders they got wrong. I can’t eat spicy food, so when I order BBQ chicken, don’t give me Jerk chicken with BBQ sauce. I was born and raised in Jamaica, land of jerk chicken. Don’t tell me that what you have given me is BBQ. I have had your BBq before. NEVER AGAIN!

The best turkey leg I’ve ever had. My personal fave are the grouper fingers… yes I’m addicted to these things. My son loves the ribs and chicken. My daughter’s an appetizers girl so she mixes and matches a lot but she prefers the baked potato (Delicious for only $ 3.50), and the corn on the cob. I don’t usually go for fries but if you do you won’t be disappointed. Shot out to Smoky a really awesome chef/​cook that takes his job seriously. And a huge shot out to the owner Mr. Cobb’s he deserves the Best BBQ in Miami award.

Food delivered by the owner. Ribs out of this world! Not crazy about the slaw but I am picky about that. Corn on cob very tender and fresh. Would order again for sure.

Ummm, let’s just say it’s like a time warp with possible undercooked chicken. Mac & Cheez & collards, most decent. Place smells of cigarettes & century old booze inside a crusty old dive bar with pool tables.

I ordered take out. It came in a reasonable amount of time. I had the pulled pork sandwich with Mac-​n-​cheese and coleslaw. Over all everything was really delicious. I didn’t like the Mac-​n-​cheese unfortunately :(but the sandwich was great.
