Best Western Plus Sherwood Inn & Suites

We desperately needed somewhere to stay for 5 days that was close to my husband’s place of employment and also relatively affordable, clean and quiet. I did so much searching online that I could probably cite all of the hotels within a 10 mile radius of North little Rock. I found this one and was happy. It was 79 $ a night, had a free breakfast «buffet», huge rooms and free wireless internet.
My favorite part about our room is our bed. It is THE most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, even though it’s about a mile off of the floor. You’ll need to get a running start and jump, because this sucker is high. The bed is so plush and the pillows are humungous. You won’t need to bring any of your own.
The room stayed nice and cold the whole time we were here. Seriously, turn it down to 65 and you’ll sleep really good that night. The curtains keep out most of the sun. There is a sofa bed, a chair, a desk with a rolling computer chair, a microwave and a mini-​fridge. Also, a huge flat-​screen with most of the good channels. There is also a coffee machine in the bathroom and a hair-​dryer.
The room was pretty clean and the floors had been freshly vacuumed. I really liked that they sanitize the remotes before each new use. I also liked that the room wasn’t the size of a closet. We could get up, move around and not feel claustrophobic.
The breakfast was fairly decent. The eggs were powdered so there was an excess of water which kind of made them taste funky, but weren’t too bad. There was also four kinds of cereal (raisin bran, fruit loops, frosted flakes and crisps), fruit (apples and bananas), muffins, bagels (with cream cheese), toast, a waffle maker, breakfast burritos (only had these twice and they were pretty good), sausage biscuits, biscuits and gravy (some days they had sausage gravy, some days not), juice (apple, orange, cranberry and grape) and whole and 2% milk. There is plentiful seating in the breakfast room with a TV broadcasting the news, and I was happy that the breakfast started at 5:30 for us early-​risers.
My only big complaint was the noise level and the fact that there was NO ELEVATOR. Please be aware that a lot of construction workers stay here for days at a time and they are loud as heck at night time. We actually had to change rooms at 11:00 PM because two of them kept us up laughing and acting like bulls in a china shop in the room next to us.
Please be advised that THERE IS NO ELEVATOR in this TWO-​STORY hotel! Both stays, we received an upstairs room and escorting 6+bags to our room was a freaking nightmare. Ask for a downstairs room or stay somewhere else! Come on, Best Western, get with the times!

This hotel was a great, comfortable and quiet place to stay. The front desk girl was professional and prompt. The hotel was built in 2007 so it’s relatively new. We had a room on the second floor and used the fitness center and had the breakfast in the morning. The fitness center is small but ok for a quick workout. I’d say about 2 – 3 people would be comfortable in there at the same time. The breakfast had a lot of variety. The room was clean and attractive.
The only downsides were that the bathroom didn’t have a fan and the bottom of the shower curtain liner was dirty.
Besides that, no issues and a fast, prompt checkout. I’d stay here again.

We got a king bed suite for $ 99 on
. It was a super clean and overall peaceful stay. The pool was very nice and our 5 year old loved it, too.
The staff were easy to talk to and even suggested a GREAT restaurant — Whole Pig Café. Outstanding BBQ. The FREE breakfast was good, and the FREE wi-​fi connected easily and had enough speed to watch YouTube/​Netflix video.
Not sure when we’ll ever be in Little Rock again, but if we find ourselves here again we will stay at THIS hotel.

Was disappointed by this hotel. The room was slightly dirty and a foul odor permeated the premises. Beds were okay and the service was equally passable. Have had much better experiences for the same price at other chain hotels.

Employees were very nice. They allowed us to check in early since we arrived earlier than expected. Room was clean but only gave us three towels. Nice tile and granite bathroom — although no ventilation fan.
We had to take three small kids to room on second floor and they have no elevator. Also, no ice machine on second floor.
Breakfast was okay. Didn’t put out a lot so could run out fast.
We actual meant to stay at the BW one a few miles closer to the Air Force base. Friends got their room $ 10 cheaper (under $ 70 per night).
