Had the burrito bowl. Was very disappointed. Mainly beams and rice. Very little meat. No seasoning what so ever. Maybe I went at the wrong time of day. High schoolers were there for lunch also. But even they would realize there was no seasoning. Was very clean. And help was polite.

The brownie is HUGE, full of hunks of chocolate, and only $ 1.50. INLOVE. Limited parking. I got the«turkey» sandwich. The fries were amazing, but it is very obvious they cut corners on the quality of meat. Chunky strips of processed meat with the texture of spam. I couldn’t eat it. Disappointing for a place with«deli» in its name. I will go back to try other things on the menu, but I would strongly recommend steering clear of the turkey sandwich.

Hopefully, this is The Little Store That Could. This darling little throwback to the middle of the last century has come and gone more than once, a victim of big supermarkets and fast food chains on the main drag through Northtown. This latest incarnation seems to be nearly all restaurant and very little, if any, grocery store, although I didn’t look around that much because I was too busy talking to the very friendly owner. They’ve devoted about half their floor space to a few tables, but I took my breakfast to go. It’s probably a good thing for my waistline that they only do breakfast on Friday and Saturday, because the breakfast bowl is amazing, and huge! It’s like a small pie tin filled with hash browns, sausage, and scrambled eggs topped with really good gravy and cheese. I had no business eating the whole thing, but man, I just couldn’t stop. At $ 5.99, that’s some serious breakfast! I haven’t been back to try lunch yet, which consists of several sandwiches, salads, pizza, and daily specials, with a good variety of sides and desserts. They’re open until 6 during the week, so you could make it an early dinner as well. They even deliver around Northtown. As good as that breakfast was, I can’t help but think their other food is dynamite as well. So skip Taco Bell and drive a couple of blocks farther. As hard as these guys are trying, this is The Little Store That Should.

Meatball sub was quite yummy-beware it’s a tad spicy. Fries come with some yummy seasoning. Very cute atmosphere, mostly grill food. Lots of high schoolers at lunch time
