Terrible service! We walked in and the last customer on line had just gotten their food. Which means there was no one in line ahead of us. That being said, we waited over 5 minutes before our order was taken. When the sandwiches were done, the sandwich maker placed them at the register and immediately proceeded to take the order of a customer who had just walked in. The young man at the drive through said he’d ring us up in a minute and continued to assemble the drinks for the drive through whole the sandwiches were being made. He never did ring us up. The sandwich maker returned to the register after she finished with customer behind us sandwich. We finally had our order 14 minutes after we entered the store with no line ahead of us. Arby’s is right across the street, you can guess where our sandwiches will come from.

Subway! This brand new subway opened in the spot formerly held by Captain D’s on Armour sort of in front of Denny’s. They have a DRIVETHROUGH! We ate here last evening and it was doing pretty good business for after work in NKC. Obviously very clean restaurant as it is brand new. Employees were cheerful and speedy. Sandwiches were all good.
I do not know if this is replacing the other Subway in NKC proper, or in addition to it. Hopefully in addition as the other one is crowded for lunch during the school year.
