OMG, Angelina in the Pharmacy is the biggest Angel… I’m losing my Insurance and had no idea I could get a three months supply of my medication for depression at one time. Now I have a little more time to get it all straightened out. You truly saved me some bad times… THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

The Supervising Pharmacist and everyone in the pharmacy treats me like family here at Walgreens. They are incredibly sweet and Amy has given me more help on my prescriptions than some of my specialist physicians! Truly life-​changing. And they are super fast when you bring an Rx in. Make sure to use your Walgreens card, I just acquired a $ 5 off coupon by using it. I used to shop at a different pharmacy chain here in NoHo and switched about 3 years ago. The people who worked there were nice, but at this other chain there was never enough staff scheduled, so there was always a long line to check out at both the pharmacy, and the front of the store. And because of hard alcohol sales, that store had frequent theft, and the staff were always having to deal with that. This doesn’t happen at Walgreens b/​c they don’t sell it. Anyway, one of the great service people who worked at this other store retired, and then six months later started working here at Walgreens! Everyone there is so helpful to me, especially the people who shopped for me after I was in an accident and couldn’t walk. If you have a return, don’t worry about having your receipt, the transaction is on your Walgreens card! Last but not least great selection of beauty products as well as seasonal items.

PHARMACY COMPLAINT
The pharmacy manager lacks customer service experience. With my cell phone, I called the pharmacy to have a new prescription filled. A woman picked up the phone and without saying a word, put it down on the counter and I could hear her talking to other customers. She finished the transaction and must have forgot about me as I was sitting there for 14 minutes. I was yelling, «HEY! THERE IS SOMEONE ON HOLD HERE! COME BACK TO THE PHONE!» I heard tapping of keystrokes, but no one picked up the phone.
I used my lanline to call the Walgreen’s main store number. I asked for a manager and transferred to someone named George. I told him I had been waiting to be helped for over 15 minutes and if he picked up the phone receiver on the pharmacy counter, he would be able to talk to me on my cell phone. He said he would check on it. Moments later, a woman yelled, «HELLO! HELLO!» and then slammed the phone down while I was answering.
I got in my car pissed to find the store manager was not George, but WILLIAM ORELLANA.
1 — I do not know why someone named George identified himself as a manager when I called.
2 — I found the name of the pharmacy manager was AMAL FAHMY.
3 — There was no line or customers waiting at the pharmacy.
4 — The man in scrubs (did not get his name) confirmed there was no other female working there that day. The only woman there was Amal Fahmy, the pharmacy manager, who is as poor with customer service in person as she is over the phone.
I decided not to make a stink before getting my prescription filled, so did not mention I called earlier. She took my information and told me to come back in a half an hour. When I came back THEY WERE OUT TO LUNCH!
Sure seems to me this woman gets her jollies wasting people’s time. If you need a pharmacy but have to keep to a schedule, go elsewhere! I took my prescription to CVS. Good job, Amal!

I always come here to get dog pee pads. They are only $ 9.99 for a package of 50. The service is sometimes a hit or a miss, where you have to find the cashier because no one is at the front.

This place has all the stuff any regular pharmacy would have, but my experience is mostly related to checking out. This has got to be the slowest place on earth to check out of. It’s not even the fault of the customers being a problem, but whatever the hell POS program they’re using to pay for your items. Seriously, I know pharmacies are inundated with work, so I can forgive that, but they seriously need to update or work on their checking out service. I shouldn’t have to wait 5 minutes when the person ahead of me just wants to buy a soda.

I decided to give this pharmacy a go after becoming disillusioned with (read: sick and tired of) the CVS down the road, with the long line that never moved because of how understaffed the store was. Anyway, a marked improvement. In my experience, if you leave a message on their pharmacy line, they won’t call you back, but your drugs will be ready!

I wish I could this place NO STARS. I went to get a Norco prescription and the pharmacist gave me the third degree. She was treating me like a junkie when I had a prescription and needed pain medication. She asked me what it was for and then said, oh, it’s not THAT severe, you don’t need this. I’m like, what the fuck? You’re not my doctor. Then she said, the script wasn’t enough, she had to CALL the doctor on monday to get proof that I was in pain, ignoring the fact that he WROTE ME A PRESCRIPTION. I told her I couldn’t wait until Monday and she said, get some rest, that’ll help.
I went back, got my script, and took it to Dr. Ike’s Pharmacy a few miles away.
I will NEVER go to another Walgreens. I don’t need to be talked down to or made to feel bad about myself for having a legitimate need for medication that my doctor had prescribed. If I want to go to a doctor, I’ll visit my PCP.

The absolute WORST pharmacy drive through. It will always be a 20 minute wait if I’m the only person in line or if there are people in front of me. By reading the reviews I can see it’s not just me that experiences this. Always slow.

I love this specific location. The woman who normally works the register is so friendly and has great customer service skills. She always says «Be well» at the end of the sale so sweet :)
They always have really good items in there clearance aisle too

This location alone is the reason I will never step foot in a Walgreens again. Do NOT use this pharmacy.

Update: 3 weeks went by of me trying to get them to contact my doctor. I went 3 weeks without my meds. Called my doctor, they hadn’t even tried. Had my prescription moved to CVS, not only was the customer service and speed incredible, the prescription was $ 20 less. This Walgreens Pharmacy is employed with diarrhea people who consider any customer a bother.

A favorite employee has moved on, but the willingness to be of service to the customer by all and newer employees puts so many businesses to shame — including (as you’ll know if you read my reviews) — Target No Ho — and the dog friendliness always has Walgreens on my shopping map. I ask even if I’m pretty sure that they don’t have what I’m looking for.
Some new info. Walgreens has a SENIOR DISCOUNT program. The first Tuesday of the month is when to shop in the store to get your discount. Also, if you do a special sign up with AARP you will get 500 points a month without buying products on their point system.
Don’t shop just for the points is my advice though over time you may get cash of $ 5 to $ 25 in your hand for the points. (Hint: Be aware that Walgreens and Ralphs seem to be having a paper products pricing/​business war going on.) But over time you may find yourself buying things you actually need that get you points.
Walgreens has a satisfaction guaranteed policy on cosmetics. Generally their service at this store in the cosmetic area is very good, and there are coupons and samples possible through the employee working there that are hidden under her locked up counter. So, with this help there is a good chance you won’t make a horrible mistake with what you buy to wear, but if you do you can return it (with receipt within 30 days).

Slowest service ever. I never get out of this pharmacy in less than 30 minutes. And don’t ever wait in the drive through. You might be there all day. They always appear to be severely understaffed and in over their heads.
I wish this wasn’t the nearest pharmacy to where I live. But at this point I might as well drive to the next town. Would still probably be quicker.
Their hours are frustrating too, for someone who works. I need a 24 hour pharmacy in my life and this one is anything but.

I had desperately driven to this Walgreens late Sunday night due to the late open hrs. I was feeling dizzy, sweaty, nausea, ect… I walk in, only customer but no customer assistance. Then, as I heard they were about to close, I rushed to the pharmacy department. Not only was I prematurely kicked out— I was accused of stealing!!! I stormed out in tears! PLEASE NEVER ATTEND!

This review is only for the woman who was working behind the make up counter last night. I think her name was Chelsea or something similar.
I walked in and she welcomed me with a smile. I wasn’t even there for make up but i decided since i was there let me look around. Right when I came into that area she asked if I needed assistance.
She is friendly and attentive and I hope her supervisors see this and know how much customers appreciate her attitude.

I don’t know what’s going on with this Walgreens. When I come to the drive thru pharmacy over the last few months it takes 20 – 30 to pick up. They don’t come to the window. It’s redic. It this is a recurring issue, have more people on staff. Seriously. I’m going to switch to CVS. They don’t have this issue.

I’m commenting directly on the pharmacy here, only. After being interrogated by the pharmacist, where our voices soon were raised to nearly shouting level, she refused to fulfill my prescription. She questioned my pain, what I had taken, who I had seen, etc. like she was my doctor. I had a legit doctor’s prescription and she absolutely refused to fulfill it after she argued with me for at least 10 minutes. She treated me like I was a drug addict looking for a fix and refused to contact my doctor to confirm the prescription. Do not come here for pharmacy needs, because the pharmacist may play God and assume you are a druggie or that you don’t really need that medicine… and offend you, infuriate you, yell at you and tell you that you are wasting her time. Then she’ll call the management on you.

I went here to get some pictures resized. After calling multiple jewelry stores and asking about getting pictures resized for a locket, and them not giving me any help, I decided to call Walgreens because this one was well reviewed.
I got there with my pictures and gave them to the photo tech. I was really thinking I would just have to do it on my own but this guy took care of the whole thing. He kept experimenting with things until they came out printed the right size. I am so grateful for the service because my wife loved the present. It was pictures for a locket.
I wish I could remember the guys name because he was great and helpful an cheery. Wonderful experience. Nice store and clean as well. Will return.

This is my second time at this Walgreens location.
The first time was about a month ago, and my girlfriend & I were in a rush to a house warming party. We needed to have a picture developed and frame to go with it. We used the self serve Kiosk and it said it would take 2 hours to print. Not knowing what to do we asked one of the employees there to help us out. They worker not only did a superb job at printing the photograph for us in a matter of minutes but he also said this was his first time doing it as it was only his 2^nd day on the job. The Customer service this day was Superb.
Fast forward to 3 days ago, and we were in the area and needed to buy some 1^st aid items, as well as a few other things. While looking around I reminded my girlfriend that we needed to pick up some Eye Contanct solution, when an employee mentioned that the solution was in the next isle over. We both looked at the worker and realized it was the same gentleman who helped us out on the previous visit.
One side note. I also like the fact that the ATM machine here is from Navy Federal Credit Union (as I am a member with them, and the nearest branch loaction is either Fountain Valley or Port Hueneme).
