I had the Magnolia omelette. Bacon, cheese and avocado. Spectacular! Hot chocolate was great. The entire waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is immaculate.

Total mom-and-pop place family owned and operated, old-school, dated. But, while my dog was getting groomed next door it was a perfect place to catch a quick lunch for a reasonable price. A plus for pet owners as they have a pet friendly patio.

I just rushed out of here due to a nasty smell and heat combination that was unbearable… My husband wanted a waffle and our usual spot doesn’t serve them so we tried this place. They messed us my order but no big deal, it was just an underwhelming breakfast of French toast, bacon(was supposed to be sausage), hash browns and scrambled eggs. I wouldn’t come back

Very nice staff, amazing food and extremely well priced! Cannot wait to go back! We each tried something different: waffle combo, pancakes, french toast combo and patty melt with garlic fries! Oh Andddddd mimosas! Not a single bite left behind!

No… just no. Outdated décor, dingy and drab – and typically, I love mom and pop places! But this place needs a Gordon Ramsey type overhaul and stat. The hollandaise sauce for the eggs benedict was weird. No other way to put it. Ordered Jimmy style potatoes as a side and the potatoes weren’t cooked all the way through. Blech. Went to salvage our meal by ordering a piece of apple pie. They didn’t have it. But wait… on a Sunday they didn’t have ANY pie at all. NONE, even though the menu lists at least five kinds. I asked why not and the server said they bake them every other day or every few days. So you don’t have pie on a weekend? A weekend when people come to eat??? Sigh… We won’t be back. The waiter, while polite, couldn’t overcome the disaster that is Magnolia Grille.

My review is about a 4.5. I really enjoyed the family like atmosphere, very cozy inside with nice background music which I appreciated. I ordered the veggie omelette with hash browns and banana bread. The omelette was excellent and the hash browns were good too. My niece ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and rated them a 3.5. Coffee could be better but def not bad. Overall, better than decent breakfast with reasonable prices. I will definitely be coming back.

Worst breakfast place. Service horrible. Pancakes cold and stiff maple syrup worse than ralphs 99cent syrup. Don’t go here. Expensive too. Not worth the stop.

The magnolia grill has a dog friendly shady patio and super friendly service wrapped in old school 90’s(80s?) diner décor. Tuna melt, cole slaw and ice tea were spot on. If I’m in Burbank again…

What can I say? Excellent service, excellent food. We had the California Sunshine salad, fettuccine alfredo, and eggs with toast(they serve breakfast ALLDAY!!!). Delicious food, even the leftovers still tasted good. And we saw four police officers eating there — you know when officers eat at a restaurant, it’s good food!!! Will definitely be returning. This place is a keeper!

It was just alright for me. The décor inside is dreary to say the least. They need to renovate in here. It has an old, outdated, diner vibe. The food was tasty but nothing that I would make a special trip back for. Our waitress was super nice.

Had breakfast here and used some input from Unilocal to try items. The zucchini bread was good, as was the garlic fries– definitely no denying the garlic! The chicken sandwich was really good. The lemon pepper chicken salad was s good size and had lots of ingredients although missed some kinda pizazz to make it a repeat order for myself. I would definitely recommend s visit!

I don’t want to give this place 5 stars… here’s why: 1) Best kept secret in NoHo. The patrons here are generally older, rarely any noisy kids, and I never run into anyone I know. In essence this is a great place for anonymity, which I prefer. 2) Hands down the best«diner food”-if that’s what you want to classify it as. I’m never disappointed. I’m a huge fan of the garlic and onion selections there are. Always a tasty meal at a reasonable price. 3) They serve beer… need I go on? 4) I’d love to pick a favorite server to boast about on here, but truth is every single staff member has always been extremely attentive. Never had bad service in the 3 years I’ve been coming here. 5) Never had to wait for a table, I’m always in and out pretty quickly. 6) I enjoy the music… usually 80’s or of the 70’s soft rock variety. So you see, this is why I don’t want to give this place 5 stars… I’ve got a good thing going here, I don’t want anything to change.

I normally receive great service from this wonderful hole in the wall; however today was the one day where my thoughts and opinion turned around. We requested a booth after being seated by our host, and was told that he would seat us at the next available booth. When the next booth became available, a male(talk, Caucasian, age: 50+) server that stopped us from changing our seats. He was unfriendly and as the problem progressed, he became more rude in trying to resolve this problem; however, the female host was absolutely nice in trying to help us, but we were more inclined to leave as the male server openly expressed his feelings by saying«Okay, bye. Don’t come back». The only great experiences I have are with their female servers who give impeccable service. My only tip to you is to make sure you receive service from someone else other than this gentleman.

Friendly staff… open on thanksgiving… they had a yummy breakfast and lunch menu. We ordered the chicken sandwich(California style), a cheese/ham/avocado omelette and a breakfast quesadilla. Everything was fresh– no wilted leaves in the side salad, amazing hash browns, and great coffee. All of our dishes were delicious and we are looking forward to coming back. It’s a cozy, comfortable environment… perfect for a relaxing meal.

Magnolia Grille has the burrito-est of the breakfast burritos. Have never ordered anything else from here. You know what would be cool though? If they had wifi. That would be cool.

I came here a few weeks ago for breakfast with a girlfriend. We came here during the lunch hour but I wanted breakfast. I was happy to know you could order breakfast at any time of the day. I ordered an omelette with their breakfast potatoes, turkey sausage, turkey bacon and wheat toast. I must say the food was delicious! I was very pleased. The service was good! Our waitress was friendly and made sure we were happy. The restaurant itself it’s that big. It was quite busy and a little loud. We were sitting by a party of over 20 people so that could be the reason. However the restaurant seemed to be filled with a lot of groups. Either way the food was worth all of the noise. I can’t wait to go back there!

Breakfast served all day. I actually came here for a quick lunch before my songwriting class which is located up the street and when I did, it was during the period I was on a really strict dietary regimen. I was hoping they had a salad that I could eat and so I popped in here and after reviewing the menu, saw they did have a Mediterranean salad that with a few slight modifications, I could actually eat. This place has got an old school kind of vibe and I wouldn’t be surprised if they had been around for 20 – 30 years or so because the décor looked like it. The waiter who served me was patient with me after I explained my requirements, he was able to accommodate the changes I requested on the salad I ordered. They had traditional breakfast items on the menu that could be good to try sometime and so I probably will stop by again in the future for breakfast especially since I’m now off my diet and in maintenance mode.
