The dessert cheesecake was very good. Nice relaxed atmosphere Food was pretty good. The shrimp was very good.

Something new for those of us that love BBQ. Location is on Magnolia and the restaurant is small. With a very nice feel to it. The walls have avaition photos and there are enough TV’s for the sports fan. Beer and wine. The BBQ is good and I can tell will be even be better once they add and subtract a few of the items. I really enjoyed the chicken and the trip tip tacos. Prices are right and the fact that you can actually smell the BBQ once you park is a plus. If you like BBQ give it a try, I think you willl be pleased.

So, I’ve been here before, the latest with another couple about two months ago and last week with a group of 12. Was very good then. BUT today we learn that now there is a new owner and a new smaller menu. We ordered an appetizer of fried calamari. Dry and tasteless. Then we ordered salmon. UGH! Dry and not good. Waiter took back both and offered to bring it back cooked differently. Finally the orders arrived. UGH…The salmons were not fresh… old smelling. So we told the waiter(nice guy) and said we were not eating the orders. Just charge us for the calamari. Then the Asst manager came and talked to us. Never denied that the fish was old. So we left. But the gall of the guy was to ask me for the $ 5 for the house wine I had ordered. I gave him the $ 5 and left. So new is not necessarily good. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Holy cow, what just happened to this place? I decided to take my sweet mother here for Mother’s Day and so many things went wrong! First mishap: Made a reservation on May 4th for a Mother’s Day lunch. On Saturday(the 7th), we called to confirm our reservation only to find out that nobody knew about it. «You weren’t on the list but now you are» they said on the phone. HUH?!? What the hell? Second mishap: Went to the restaurant for Mother’s Day lunch and there was no hostess. We stood there looking like complete idiots. What was the point of making a reservation if there’s no hostess??? Third mishap: Food took WAY too long to arrive, wait staff looked completely overwhelmed(which is funny to say cuz the place is quite small), and the food was prepared so amateurishly. It’s as if they had a Temp chef that had no idea how to cook or plate anything! Let me break it down: –The Calamari appetizer was over-coated with starch and then spread out among the plate too look like it was a «big» portion. It was the first thing we noticed and it had NO taste. No seasoning equals no taste. –My mom got the Chinese Salad and it had NO wontons and barely any dressing on it. She had to ask for BOTH of these things for a Chinese Salad! NOTGOOD. –I ordered the Chicken Marsala and all I got were two questionable pieces of chicken smothered in some kind of brown gravy and then a separate plate of roasted vegetables several minutes later. It was the absolute worst plating of food I had ever seen and tasted. Microwaveable dinners are more well-prepared than this. –My poor dad ordered a chicken Caesar Salad and it was the LAST plate to arrive to our table! I’ll say it again: The salad was LAST! How is that even possible? What happened here?!? All the other people that were dining here got the same treatment as us and it was BAD. I visited this place three weeks ago and everything was awesome but now it’s not! I don’t know what caused this little problem of under-staffing and bland food for an important Holiday but it really did disappoint me cuz I wanted my mom to like this place just like I did.

I have been a loyal customer. Sunday was a disaster(boo), took for ever to get food that never came, people who ordered after us were served first. How hard is it to make an egg sandwich with a side of seasonal fruit???, we seated our self’s 2 of us and the waiter took our drinks in a timely fashion. it was noted that we were waiting for around 30 min and we were told our food was checked on and would be up soon??? 10 min later still no food, we noticed a few people going to the bar to ask for service, hahahahahahaha good luck, my husband left the money for his beer on the table and we walked out… To bad, I really liked the steaks but it was to rude to want to continue my $$$ being spent there.

Wasn’t packed when I went but that was a good thing. The name says it all, walk in and you cant help but notice the hanger-inspired décor from the ceilings to the smoke-brown booths. Prices are reasonable with a great sense of customer service. Check it out if you’re walking down Magnolia.

I was impressed seating there. At the first I thought it’s only pricy but It turned to be delicious too. I went there for a dinner with my friend and both had great time. I ordered the steak and my friend ordered chicken and salad. The food came right on time. The service was OK. We had to call few times to the server but overall experience was great. The place is cozy and beautiful. Definitely will come back

We came here for lunch, and fortunately, I ordered something that was tasty. However, everyone else was a bit underwhelmed by their food. I ordered the baby back ribs with a side of corn, which was delicious. The ribs were tender and they give you an entire ear of corn. My husband ordered the burger, and he didn’t finish because he was said it was bland and overcooked to the point that it was try. It’s too bad because how often do you mess up burgers? Oh well. Our friend ordered the beef stew, which he said was just ok — he said it was hearty but there was hardly any beef in it. Service was friendly and the place is chill, but seems like hit or miss. If you like living on the edge, take a gamble.

This place has not been open very long. I am happy they are here. They are a great spot for dinner and lunch. The food is great. Fresh ingredients. Very nicely prepared with thought and originality. The menu is diverse but not complicated. I would bet that most anybody could find at least a few items on the menu that would appeal to their palette or any dietary restrictions or desires. The service … well, I have been here many times and have had many different servers. Every one has been exceptional. I even asked to speak with the owner in regard to our servers on two different occasions. The vibe is relaxed with an aeronautical theme. Lots of photos on the walls and many Lockheed aircraft as this is right in the area where Lockheed called home for decades. The main mural on the wall is a Russian cargo aircraft cockpit. Look close at the panel. You will notice Russian writing. They have a $ 6.00 lunch special that includes a half a sandwich(which is generally more than enough), a bowl of soup(the selection changes each day of the week), or a side item if you don’t opt for the soup. They have a fire grilled corn on the cob that is pretty spectacular. The lunch special also includes unlimited iced tea. If you want water, it is served in a bottle on your table(it is chilled). No need to wait for somebody to refill your water glass, although, the waiter or waitress do that if they notice a low level in your glass. I really don’t see how they do these lunch specials for $ 6.00 considering the ingredients and complex preparation. I am almost embarrassed to order the specials as I want this place to stick around. Thankfully, there are their regular items such as killer BBQ ribs(baby back and beef selections), many great pasta dishes, and the salmon stuffed with crab is pretty darn terrific. The prices on these full dinners are $ 9.95 to maybe $ 15.00 or so. Pretty darn cost effective to say the least and if you like prime rib, they have a Sunday night $ 13.49 Prime Rib special that comes with two sides(you have a selection in which to choose). 8 ounce cut on the meat as a side note. I posted a few shots to Instagram in the past and uploaded those shots here. They are only a small sample of the meals I have eaten here with friends and family. May 11, 2016 update I dropped my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars today based on my last few visits. This place has gone through a number of changes in the last month or two. The lunch menu used to offer a nice selection of items. In the last few weeks the number of offering have become fewer. Today it was down to four sandwiches and four salads. No more pasta dishes. No more baby back ribs(one of my favorites in the past. Prices have gone up across the board. The past $ 9 burger was terrific. Now, at $ 11 or $ 12 it is not only more expensive, it is really a poor excuse for a burger. Carl’s Jr. serves a better burger at this point. I ordered my burger rare, It arrived, after a very long wait, with only three people waiting for food in the dining area, well done. It was sent back. The next version was rare but it is clear that the grille is too cold as the searing of the past was not there. It was a tasteless rare blob of meat. You folks used to use a special rub on the meat. That seems to be gone now. Your chef or whoever orders your beef is either clueless on ground beef or is hoping folks don’t notice. The over processed ground meat came from a supplier that grinds excessively. The end result was more a meat spread than ground beef. The texture and flavor was very poor. Bottom line … much higher prices, much lower quality, an inability to follow simple requests, and much slower service out of the kitchen even with only three people waiting for their meal. This place is going through an evolution and changed in ownership. Unfortunately, what was a diamond in the rough with great promise is now just a lump of coal, which, if this evolution continues, will be a clod of dirt. I am more than happy to talk to the management directly if they contact me, a face to face talk if they desire. There are many things that have changed, for the worse, over the steps of your«changes», that I did not mention here. The«bottom line» I wrote above wraps it up if you don’t want to carry this any further. I was going to drop the rating to one star but the serving staff worked so hard to try to make things right. Hopefully they will find things not too difficult to find new work when this place fails, which is in the cards if the direction of these changes is not reversed. It may be too late.

I would give this place 5 stars if it had alcohol. My wife didn’t want to come because of that. The food and staff are both great. We started with oysters. From there, went to corn, seafood linguini and steak. Also, too quiet! Needs to have music louder. I think if they don’t have alcohol, this place will lose customers.

To begin with. Just to begin with. Thursday nights are $ 4 beer and $.75 wing night. And the wings aren’t skimpy. Those are some lovely, large wings. Upon walking in, everyone was exceptionally accommodating. The bartender was one of the most kind, personable bartenders I have ever met and I wasn’t shocked at all to hear other patrons calling him by name. Food, drinks, ambiance, and entire experience mean that I absolutely will be back many times. And I got the brunch menu. $ 6 bottomless mimosas. Love.

Wanting to try something new in the area, came in for lunch with a colleague friend. I was impressed with the aesthetics of the restaurant when I first walked in. Not a large place, but enough for a quick lunch-break. We were seated right away and perused through the menu. We were both craving big juicy protein for some reason, but ended up ordering and sharing a steak salad medium rare and seafood linguini. The steak was well seasoned and grilled just as ordered. The seafood linguini was creamy, but slightly on the watery side, but had good flavor. The portion size for both dishes were perfect for lunch. Service was great. Iced tea and water glasses were refilled at a constant. Overall, we enjoyed a quiet, boss free lunch break.

Wanted to try someplace new in Burbank and I found the Hangar. I wasn’t really sure what to make of the place at first. The prices were VERY reasonable which really threw me off. Even you see steaks, ribs, and seafood pastas for around $ 12 – 15, $ 20 you(at least me) wonder exactly what you’re going to get. We started with the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were really tasty! The corn salsa they were served with tasted fresh and delish! Not really what what they added besides awesomeness to it but i could have eaten a bowl of that alone and been happy. Next came our entrees, I got the baby back ribs, they were PERFECT! Nicely portioned, great BBQ taste, and yes the meat peeled right off the bone. Awesome! I got the mushed garlic taters, also nicely prepared good texture and just enough garlic. But then there was the roasted corn. WOW! The corn tasted like cracker jacks! Very good to say the least. My sweetie got the New York, it was HUGE! It was tender and full of flavor. I sat there thinking how does a steak this good cost so little? We couldn’t finish our entrees and normally I don’t take left overs home, but i made an exception this time. My step daughter ate the rest when we got home and also agreed that the food was delish! We well go back, and of you haven’t gone there yet, you should!

Hangar Grill looks aesetically appealing like an airport hangar in the wild west. The tables were really shiny yet sticky as if they were just lacquered that day. I really hate to give 3 stars, because their service is phenomenal. However their food is not worthy of much or any praise. We ordered the oysters, lobster bisque soup, ribeye steak with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes, baby back ribs with sweet potato fries, pork chop with mixed vegetables and a baked potato, and Mahi Mahi fettucine. The oyster was said to be well priced. The ribeye steak looks more like a skirt steak, pork chop was moist with a very sweet sauce glazed over it, the baby back ribs were good, but the sauce was generic. It seemed as if all their main entrees were very generic, but we were more excited for the side dishes. All their side dishes were so good. It is so rare that your sides are the highlight of your meal. I think I’m being paranoid, but there seems to be a few fishy reviews. Like Unilocaler since 2010 with 1 review of only this place, another person reviewed like 8 places, never giving more than 4 stars until now, etc. Hahaha … I’ve been on Unilocal for a while and people who have less friends or even some Elite members with a bunch of friend DON’T get as many«Useful, Funny, and Cool» for their reviews like this place.
