Fatburger

I love the burgers at fat burger, they got a big olé sweet Hawaiian bun and fresh made burgers. They are open till 3am which is awesome and you can grubhub em. Highly recommended if health food isnt your thing.

I read all the Unilocal reviews on this location on how they take too long for orders, on the conditions, and constantly get orders wrong, sadly it’s true, so there is not much I can say that hasn’t already been mentioned. I came here numerous times and it really went downhill. They gave me someone else’s order and was informed they could not refund me. «Sorry, there’s nothing I can do» the server (Andy I think her name was) as she went back and forth with the supervisor. As if that is not enough, I was insulted. The cashier can’t even get her pronouns right. She kept referring to me as «he», even said it 10 times, putting emphasis on it as if she was doing it deliberately, even after showing my I.D. for the credit card purchase. I will have to part ways with this location. Bye bye FaultyBurger. Oh and to that sweet cashier, «Your a nice guy, enjoy your studio apartment or your mom’s basement».

That moment, when you realize they got the order wrong, when there’s meat in my burger and I’m a vegetarian. Clearly there’s a difference between «veggie burger» and «fat burger». I was on my way back to work and they wanted me to come back and prove they were wrong. They made what should of been a simple return of $ 6 to a very difficult and nearly impossible. That was the last draw for this place, other times they just never have phone orders ready on time. Avoid this place if you can.

This location seems so unaware, Carol is a bad listener, doesn’t make sense that they offer a deal and the employees don’t even know what it is. That’s uncomfortable, annoying & inconvenient. Upon asking her a question, BASIC question– she had to turn around and ask about it.

I was really looking forward to trying the veggie burger after reading other reviews. Got the advice to order it «on the char.» So that’s what I did.
I got something that looked and tasted worst than something off the value menu at McDonalds. It was absolutely terrible. I was only able to take a couple bites before throwing it in the trash.
I would give it zero stars if I could.

This place always has the most friendliest employees. Every time I go in even if I don’t know the cashier he still has a conversation with me. Sucks that they aren’t open till 4 anymore but that shouldn’t be something to whine about.

Well… this is the worst fatburger experience I’ve ever had. As I am typing this I am waiting 20+ mins for a medium burger and fries… my friends got their burgers. Two of them were wrong. One had mustard when asked for none and one had no chili when asked for it. The ketchup dispenser is out and I’m most likely going to be late for a meeting due to these people stealing my money. And I say stealing because when I get this burger I’m throwing it in he garbage and going to the in n out around the corner. The whole crew looks stoned except for the Mexican guy. This is ridiculous… so I waited to get my burger to finish the review and it is basically burned to a crisp. I asked for it on the rare side and it is no where near. Fries are soggy. Bye bye fatburger.

I just moved to this area, the Fat burger by my old home (Sepulveda Blv.) was wonderful! I was craving a burger and well since being one of my favorite burger places, I told my husband that we should come here. There were 4 employees in the back counter, looking like they would love to be someplace else and I get it but when you’re at work, you should be professional, at least when there’s people around. Anyhow the young lady took our order, my husband has a special order, Bun & Meat only!!! I then went to repeat the same thing he just had told the young lady taking our order. Yes, we repeat it twice because people never seem to get it. I do want to mention that the young man who was doing the cooking was very friendly, well beside the fact that he checked his messages while cooking and still went on to touching the burgers. We got our order and like always I told my husband to check his burger, I wasn’t surprised when I saw that his burger had everything. Now I have to get out of my car, go back inside and have them change my burger. When I got to the counter the young man asked if everything was ok, we told him the problem, he asked who took the order, it wasn’t his fault, the young lady who took our order didn’t put it in even after we told her TWICE. There was another girl taking orders, she then told us, well I can remove everything but there’s still be mustard in the burger. I told her that it wasn’t what we had ordered so why should we take something that we didn’t order?!? Why was that even an option to her?! She then rolled her eyes and told the young man to make a new burger. Now to the owner/​manager of this location, your employees represent you and your business, so maybe next time you’re making a hiring decision you should look for someone who shows more commonsense.

What is up with fast food places??? I know they don’t pay much at all, but please, take pride in yourself. I had to repeat ketchup and mustard only twice to this young man. I don’t want to sound mean, but get a hearing aid, or just PAY ATTENTION. The food was great, but when the people behind the counter are more interested in each other, than the customer, some Manager needs a butt kick, and the owner needs to sell if he or she accepts this. Fat Burger, look at the service you get at In and Out, or The Habit. Now that is service. I can see why the last two places pay their employees decently. Very little turnover in employees.

I seriously don’t know why all the bad reviews. I mean c’mon peeps… this place is called FAT BURGER. Don’t complain about how unhealthy it is or how greasy stuff is if you’re going to a place with FAT in the name. Okay… so now that I’ve said that, I’ll say this; I try my best to not eat cows but dangit every now and again I gotta have beef so I go to Fatburger. YUM! I get the medium with everything on it and it is ridiculously yummy. I don’t get cheese because I like to taste the meat and cheese seems wasted on there with all the other toppings anyway. It’s a bit pricey and it takes longer but it takes longer because they make it fresh right there in front of you right after you order and pay. If these bad review people want fast go to McDonald’s. If you want beefy and good enough to crush your craving I will see you down at Fatburger. :)

I hate writing a bad review but this place use to have such a yami burger. I eat there today and it was bad. Fries was full of salt and oil and the burger was dry and not testy at all.

There was a time I was eating here twice a week… those days are LONG gone! How does it take 30+ effing minutes to make a hamburger! Oh, you ran out of bacon after giving it all to the 3 people that came behind me? Then you inadvertently put my burger in someone else’s bag? REALLY? This is a prime reason the minimum wage needs to be lowered and everyone here needs to be put on it… I’m hitting Carl’s Jr. next time… See where you rank now? BELOW CARL’S JR! The fact that this place is still in business selling insipid food, is beyond me! The worst burger EVER. Furthermore, the fries are drenched in oil.

Seriously my favorite burger joint!
First place I would go when visiting from Minnesota, and now my fiancé and I go when we’re celebrating good times!
And we’ve seen some celebrities here too!
Definitely worth a try, get the Fatburger as it comes, it’s delicious!

This was a great stop for a friend and I tonight. We both got small burgers with no add-​ons and they were great! It was definitely a tasty burger and I liked the toppings. They’re just a tad messy.
I also got chili cheese fries which were okay, but I was way too excited for them and they weren’t the best thing ever.
The real winner of my meal was the milkshake! I got their banana one which was awesome!
The employees were super friendly and the cashier even split the bill for my friend and I easily so I could pay with a card and she could pay with cash. They were kind and wished us a goodnight and I am very happy with my fatty food fix.

been coming here for some amount of time and tonight will be my last time. The two guys behind the counter where messing around and the messing around were with people’s orders. happen to watch the cook use his fingers to push the grilled onions off my the spatula onto my burger (ya that burger was tossed).
this is people’s food you idiots are messing around with. not to say the fat burger is healthy but i really do not want someone;s fingers on my food

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is a horrific odor that smells like a mixture of sulfur, ammonia and some kind of sewage leak. You would think management would fix this but apparently its not a priority. Secondly, the manager seems confused and was running things like a chicken with its head cut off. Workers were slow and there was very little attention to detail. Tables were unclean, the burger’s appearance was sloppy and I got the impression no workers were over the age of 16 and they really could care less about the job. Poorly run franchise. Took my order to go and here’s what the napkins looked like when I opened the bag. If this is what they did to the napkins, what do you think the burger looked like?

The employee’s were nice. The food… mehhh. I went all out. I got the large with fat cheese fries. The burger had some burned edges. Hard and crusty. I don’t know if the fries weren’t totally done but the cheese congealed and made a rubbery coating.
