The pizza here was delicious! Definitely go for the deep dish. Also the staff was on point, super friendly, and came to wait on us just at the right times. We will definitely be coming back here. Plus its super conveniently located right next to the movie theatre.

Delicious pizza! We went here before the cinema, the staff are very polite and nice. Outside, small fountains, very refreshing.

Really bad customer service. I was told they would replace a burned out pizza but it was all a lie. I called and they refused to honor their word. Manager possessed poor customer service skills.

Price definitely does not match the quality of food. I am basing my review off of their pasta. My girlfriend and I both ordered a pasta dish, not the greatest food! If you are looking for something quick and just want food, then it will do. Pasta was pretty plain, basically pasta with canned pasta sauce over it. Delivery was pretty quick. Delivery man was very nice.

I’ve ordered food from this place before and it was really good but today we had a very disappointed experience, I ordered a delivery individual pizza(it was good) and 2 lasagnas, the lasagnas looked good at first but when I tried to eat it, I found out that it was so undercooked, the pasta at the bottom was still crunchy… We end up tossing it in the trash!!!

Came on Sunday for a long-anticipated Pizza, and as Unilocal suggested that this place was #1, I took their advice. Wish I didn’t. Pizza took over 45 minutes apparently cause their«Speciality Thick Crust» pizza is pre-made but if you order thin crust, they have to make it from scratch and they have a lot of orders for delivery. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the customer sitting in your store should get priority over someone at home already having the luxury of finding out how long their pizza will take based on the velocity if orders. Wish the pizza I had was worth the wait. I absolutely would have been totally better off with a Domino’s thin crust pizza. Definitely nothing special about this place and absolutely nothing uno about the place at all.

I have been coming to Numero Uno for years and in high school this would be the place to come to watch the games! They have the best deep dish pizza and the dough is slightly sweet.

We have gotten delivery from here many times. It’s pretty good if you like dough-y pizza which I do. The deep dish is a little greasy. I never get it with tomato chunks so I can’t speak to how those taste, but I do like their regular tomato sauce that is on the pizza. The toppings are pretty delicious and the jalapeños have great flavor which is always good. I really like their house salad too. The pizza is definitely better when you eat in the restaurant because the cheese is much better and deliciously gooey.

There’s a reason this specific número uno has 135 reviews and 4 ½ stars. I made the mistake of asking for the pizza cooked a little longer, remember me not them. It got a little too overdone, but they still fixed it and made me a whole new one. This place cares about their customers. We could all be so lucky to have more places like this. I wish I would have tipped a little more lol.

Their pizza crust is phenomenal. The service was pretty good; I got a small pepperoni pizza. The portion size is decent. They took way too long to cook a small size pizza; almost 30 mins to be exact. The waiter was nice, and worked fairly quick. They need a bigger place; I thought that it was too crowded.

Great food .i dined inside and the whole time I was there one of the delivery drivers kept putting his hands in his pants as he got the food for the next order together to be delivered. When he realized we noticed him he walked away.

Bite into some ooey cheesy goodness! This little pizza place is a family go-to spot for after church lunch. On a Sunday where everywhere seems to be packed for lunch, this place seems to always have an open table for us. The dining area has a no-frills relaxed atmosphere, with kind yet laid back servers. What’s great is there’s obviously meat pizzas and build your own toppings pizza… But they also have a vegetarian pizza! My hubby is a full hubby. If you’re looking for a fine dining spot with gourmet pizzas go elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a quick, down to earth spot to just eat some yummy pizza this spot is for you.

Not really sure how long we’ve been going here, but at least 10 years & it’s my first Unilocal of them. The very best place to grab a bite before or after a movie at the amazing Cinemark theater next door. Easy free parking. Cool patio. It’s a compact place, but we were seated right away at lunch time. Three of us shared the classic Antipasto Salad, a beautiful presentation(yea for a Numero Uno) & fresh vegies, meats & cheese. The Ginger Soy chicken wings(amazing… as good as they get) & a medium pepperoni New York style pizza, what yummy crust… This ain’t your daddy’s Numero Uno, the owner takes great care with each course & the people working there are as nice as can be. Just wish I lived in the ValleyVillage ValleyGlen or NoHo area, this would be our goto Pizza place, at least we work near by.

I had an individual pizza with pepperoni. They have a lunch special individual pizza, soup/salad and a soda for $ 10. Pizza was super good. Service was really good too. Definitely going to come back to try the calzone!

We’re ordered here before. Pizza was great, but tonight I have never been so disappointed in pizza delivery. Ever. We ordered a Large slaughterhouse 5 with jalapeños, New York style. And some inferno wings. Now, this was a first since we usually just stick to thick crust. We ordered the pizza at 8 pm, delivery said it would be in an hour. An hour finally went by and we got the W O R S T looking pizza ever. First, they put a whole bunch of jalapeños. Which looked like it was intended. Next, the ingredients were not chopped up and under cooked. Oh and finally, the best part, the right cornerside of the pizza box was entirely wet and about to fucking rip and fall apart. This is the worst fucking pizza I have ever received in my life. I thought número uno had better quality and care for their customers. This place is a fucking mess and I would never want to spend another $ 30 here. The pizza we got is very depressing. It just shows how the people who work there don’t pay attention to to their own standards and even Try to keep it up. I’m definitely going to contact and speak to one of managers, Mateo. I have already called the place and spoke to a girl named Angela which was kind enough to give us information about our delivery man, Ricardo. I want my money back because this is the very reason why people will stop ordering from a place like this.

This is one of those chainlets that you wonder, «How are they still around». But three plus decades in and Numero Uno is still around LA. Personally, I don’t get it. Especially with so many quality spots around the city. Even in Uno’s price range. The claim to offer«Deep Dish» pizza, but this is a far cry from the pies you’d find at that real Uno in Chicagoland. Even the Uno chain is far better than this. This is more like Pizza Hut Pan Pizza, but worse. The dough is really thick and bland. So as the toppings. It’s really more like cheese and tomato chunks on bread than pizza. And very dry. I needed to pour a ton of hot sauce on top of it in order to add some form of flavor and texture. It was that disappointing. There are places to get real Deep Dish in LA. This just isn’t one of them.

Originally I gave this place two stars because the food did indeed show up(even though the delivery was 15 minutes late) but upon reconsidering, I wish it had never come. My pizza tasted like a wax pizza someone gave up on after a heartbreak. It tasted like a big loaf of bread with no sauce and fake cheese. I could have(and have) microwaved concoctions that tasted better. The mozzarella sticks were borderline cold and tasted like gas station food. But not the good kind of gas station food, where you know it’s bad but it’s so tasty, but like — old feet. I’m sad and I’m confused– why do so many people like this place? I would have preferred Pizza Hut by a landslide. The price shouldn’t be so high for this trash. I have never left a review this bad, but this delivery certainly warrants it.

For breaded wings these are the best breaded wings I’ve ever had. I really don’t like breaded wings. The service is phenomenal, the server makes you feel like you are in a five star restaurant. His name is Santiago! It’s Chicago style deep dish pizza. The dough appears to be heavy and thick but it not heavy at all. It’s taste delicious too. I’d definitely come here again.

I hadn’t been to Numero Uno’s in a long time and I had a taste for that thick crust which has a distinct taste to me, cheesiness of the bread and big tomatoes, i know«cheesiness» not a word but i like it lol. My hubby and I shared a simple sausage and pepperoni pizza with drinks and we had the best time ever! Great old school food at a great price!

Spousal Unit suggested going to this place. Last time I was at a Numero Uno Barry Goldwater was in the White House, in other words a very long time ago! Crumby area? Check. Hot icky day? Check Parked in the hot son? Check. Possibly unsavory types wandering around outside? Check. Food/service fantastic? Check! We split a cesar salad(yummy, fresh, great dressing) and a large deep dish ‘the works’ pizza(also yummy, tasty, thick, loaded with toppings and perfectly cooked with a great thick crust). The owner or manager was extremely friendly and welcoming. He offered to let me use his car for a week(for free) but I passed as I already have one. Or maybe he offered to tell me where I parked my car since I am getting old, who knows? Oh, and there is a movie theater for some reason across from the restaurant. It actually sits on the intersection of 2 allies. North Hollywood is an interesting place. So go, try some pizza or spaghetti or garlic bread. You’ll like it. And the owner/manager will remind you where you parked. Mig likes deep dish pizza
