I love coming here and getting 2 for 1! :) the vibes very intimate and chill! I dig getting artsy on the chalk board and playing pool with friends. Good place to hit up and very fair priced drinks!

DONOTCOMETOTHISSHITHOLE. My girlfriend and I came here last week on Friday night(5÷6÷16) I didn’t get the name of the bartender working that night but she was the only one there. Her customer service SUCKED. She was rude and catty to my friend. My friend ordered her usual drink(long island iced tea) and the bartender made who knows what. My friend couldn’t bare drinking it. I had a taste myself and it was disgusting. We tried to get the bartenders attention multiple times failing to do so. I’m not sure why because the place wasn’t crowded at all. Finally when she felt like it, she approached us and said«yes girls what do you need» my friend kindly questioned the drink and the bartender said«it’s like a Long Island, but believe me after 10 minutes talk to me again, you’ll forget» For damn starters, we are there to ENJOY a drink NOT get drunk after a few sips. What did she even mean by that? Instead, my friend asked for a margarita that she never received. My drink was shit as well. I ordered a whiskey sour and received a harsh, distasteful drink. I tried to get past the taste and drink it regardless and I couldn’t .I only wasted my money. We were barely there about 15 to 20 minutes and we had enough. We left both drinks and asked to close the tab. Those who know me, know that I am a FAIR tipper. .Hardly the times I don’t tip, and this time was one of those unpleasant experiences that caused me to be that mean person and not tip regardless of the service. Also, as «cool» as I’d like to portray this event, they don’t card you apparently. Me and my friend just walked in and ordered drinks without being carded. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Do I really want to go someplace that doesn’t card and sit with potentially younger kids who shouldn’t even be drinking? I’d never go back there again.

Been dead the times I came but the spot is cool, very dark, usually there’s terrible hipster or crappy music playing but you can change it $ 1 each song. Pool table is $ 1 a game. Small place but a cool ambiance for a simple night nothing too crazy.

We’ve been going to this bar for years since we live in the neighborhood. It’s very affordable and they even remodeled it about a year ago or so. The place is okay, you get what you pay for. If you’re going in for some quick drinks with friends then this is the place, it has a pool table and a jukebox. If you want some relaxing, quiet fancy place then this is not the place for you. As some of the other reviews have said, the bouncer could be a little rude — I personally haven’t had a bad experience but I have noticed him smoking and talking on his phone all day long, but like i said, it’s not something that bothers me. Overall, the bar is okay, affordable drinks and an okay place to chill for a bit.

The bouncer was rude as hell wasn’t even at the door and decided to give attitude when I questioned who he was when he came and grabbed me and my friend, obviously not thinking he was security since he was smoking something and talking on his headphones.

My friends and I usually love coming to this bar for their happy hour specials. Kind of hard finding a great happy hour within the valley that has great hours. But the other night had a not so good experience. We got there around 9:40 I went to order my drinks with the tall girl and since it was happy hour until 10 I got my 2 for 1. So after me my boyfriend orders his drink same as mine. And this time the guy bartender with glasses helps him out but he tells MY boyfriend happy hour is over and serves him only 1 drink. I was taken back thinking to myself what!?? like. Um I just ordered. Mine 3minutes ago. It’s still 9:43 pm as he’s ordering his. So I let it go. Then I observe the bartender serve two other people and serves them the 2 for 1 each. At this point I’m like hmm okay this seems sketchy. After that my boyfriends cousin she orders her drinks with him and he gives her the happy hour! So at this point I KNEW straight up he DISCRIMINATED. My boyfriend for no radon. Clearly he wanted to be douche to my boyfriend when all he did was try to order during happy hour. It really got me upset how my boyfriend was excluded from enjoying happy hour. So I decided to try myself and order from this guy as at this moment it is 9:57. And guess what he DOES give ME the happy hour … Clearly this dude has some thing against giving my boyfriend his happy hour. NOTCOOL. As a server I know this myself I am a server in the food and restaurant industry it’s a BIG no no when u discriminate someone. U NEVER know what that person is like and or can tip u like. U can be surprised. So think about that guy with the four eyes… Next time u discriminate a person who’s just trying to unwind and enjoy their weekend.

Came here for a friends birthday party. The place has a really coo divey feel to it. They have multiple seating areas and a pool table in the back room. Near the entrance is the infamous jukebox where you can play music. They have a variety of selections and it costs a dollar for about 5 songs. The best part was the drink specials. When we arrived around 8 they still had the 2 for 1 drink special.. Can’t beat that. Even after the special ended the drink prices were very reasonable and it doesn’t hurt when the bartender has a heavy hand(made the drinks nice and strong ;). Had a great time with the birthday girl and crew would definitely come back again!

Fun dive bar. Cheap drinks! Gotta go for happy hour. One pool table, which can get taken over quickly, then impossible to play again. Jukebox, good vibes.

I’ve been here several times and am frankly very disappointed in my experience last night. We show up to the bar, get our drinks and head to the room in the back to try and find seats. We walk in no problem and try to sit when a gigantic douchbag comes up to us staring us down! Pissed that we’re back there because he paid for the whole thing. Well should’ve been a sign or someone near the entrance! It was awful. Note to bar management; if you rent out a space to people you should have it somehow marked. Also, the crowd that rented it last night were a bunch of assholes so maybe refrain from renting the place out to them again.

Hi guys, My first visit to this place was awesome!!! I just want to give a shout out to this bar and ANA, the hot beautiful bartender that served my girlfriend and I drinks. This is a great place for drinks and fun. During the week, a chill place that has the classic charm of LA in the 30s as well as a hip 2015 weekend place to drink with pool tables and a jukebox. Decently priced and nice employees. Ana was great!!! I fully endorse this place.

It’s an okay place that is right around the corner from me. I used to go there a lot to play pool but it seems like nowadays the pool table is constantly reserved by a group of guys that want to bet on games or play you at the next game even if you are there to just play with your friends. It’s not too loud which I like and the drinks are priced reasonably, just other than the pool table there is nothing that special about it.

Nice and Mellow Dive Bar. It tends to get pretty packed over the weekend. They have a room which holds a pool table another room which has a seating section. Standard price bar. They also have a e-juke box where you can pay to listen to some music. Didn’t see a late night happy hour menu on a Tuesday night after 10pm, which is a bummer. Come and check it out! * Side Note: — Guys restroom is none lockable. Meaning, if you’re looking to do #2, someone will be able to walk right in!

It’s ok in a pinch, the happy hour prices are great. The one«hot» bartender is cool but the others are rude and pour weak & shitty drinks. It’s only good on Fridays after 8pm, otherwise it’s full of hipsters and wannabe industry types. The parking sucks and there is only 1 bathroom per gender.

I was very excited to visit NoBar for the first time and celebrate my friends birthday who was visiting from out of town. We went with a group of 6 women. Unfortunately, within minutes our experience was ruined. We were mistreated and discriminated against and we will never go to this place again. Here is the story: My friend who was celebrating her birthday has a neurological condition called ataxia, which, among other things, causes severe balance issues. Theopolis, the bouncer who was working the evening of October 3, checked her identification and upon seeing her lose her balance, immediately asked if she was intoxicated. She tried to explain that she is not drunk and inform him of her condition, and the bouncer got very defensive and very aggressive quickly. Upon seeing the situation, I tried asking the bouncer directly what the problem was in a civil tone, but the bouncer very quickly raised his voice and was on the verge of yelling. When he began to raise his voice, I asked him why he was doing so, which apparently made him quite defensive and the situation escalated very fast. Unfortunately, he continued to yell, so I told the rest of my party that we need to leave after receiving such deplorable treatment and especially after we were simply trying to explain why she was«off balance». Needless to say, I was quite shaken; I have never been treated like that and spoken to like that by a total stranger. Especially considering I was a customer, I was completely shocked that I was yelled at and spoken to like I was beneath this person. Regrettably, this situation did not end there. Another member of our party, tried calmly speaking to Theopolis and explaining the situation(including the medical condition), and he agreed to let us in. Though I wanted nothing to do with the bar at that time, I went in with the rest of my party and had another heated exchange with the bouncer. I told him that he should treat customers better and I wish to be spoken to like a human being instead of being yelled at and treated in a hostile manner, and then he again quickly began yelling and also used profanity. To be treated in such a deplorable manner is unthinkable and incomprehensible, especially considering this was a simple situation that we tried discussing like rational human beings. However, he chose to yell, curse, and use profanity like we were second-class human beings. One person in our group requested to speak with the manager(Luke). Luke opted to speak with Theopolis first, but reluctantly agreed to speak with me and my party outside of the bar. Prior to him speaking with our group, he was laughing with the bouncer like our concerns was a joke which was unacceptable. While the treatment from Luke was not even better, he at least listened to the situation. However, he only continued to defend his employee’s behavior and explained multiple times that 99% of the time he has to deal with individuals who are drunk and do not have a disability or medical condition and that he was simply doing his job. No member of our party was questioning why he had to ask if she was drunk. We understand that it his part of his job. The issue I have was the discrimination my friend received and the complete disregard for the fact that she has a legitimate medical condition. In addition, the fact that he was aggressive, hostile, and argumentative to me and yelled and used profanity was deplorable, shocking, and disgusting To be treated in such a disgraceful manner by a total stranger was something I will likely never recover from. Even though the manager’s treatment was not great either, he tried to make amends and bought my party a complimentary shot and several complimentary jukebox selections. While we appreciate that he tried to provide us with some recompense and tried to offer some semblance of an apology(although most of what he was doing was defending Theopolis’s behavior). I was exceptionally disappointed in the disgusting treatment we received at this establishment after my friend was discriminated against for having a medical condition.

How does this place have four stars?! I’ve been waiting in line in this shithole for thirty minutes already and no service. Bartender came up, asked us a question said she’ll be right back and served others… Wack! .Let’s not start to mention the fact that I had to stand up from my seat about 20 times to cater to the pool players in the small room. The whole squad left to brickyard pub down the block — way more pool tables great selections of beer and the best part my bf waited 10 seconds to get served! Take notes, no bar ;)

Very dark atmosphere, awesome drink specials for happy hour! It gets pretty packed on the weekend due to their happy hour specials I can imagine. The girls bathroom is really small but pretty clean. Not a lot of sitting room, but the jukebox on the wall keeps you dancing :)

I’ve enjoyed drinking at no bar in the past, but I was so disappointed by the casual disrespect directed towards me by the blond male bartender. His lady coworker was perfectly cordial and served my beers to me the way I’d expect some who’s pay im providing to do(without a shitty attitude-thank you ma’am)! «You serving this 12 year old?» That’s a direct quote! The bouncer also had a bit of a(big, judgey) mouth on him, but screw it, I don’t even live in north Hollywood anymore! Bye no bar! EASTHOLLYWOODFOR LiFE.

Cheap drinks, heavy-handed bartenders, fun jukebox, pool table… what more could you want from a dive bar. This trendy little bar is my boyfriend’s favorite bar and I can’t blame him. We’ve spent many drunken nights here playing pool and lounging around. The bartenders have always been super nice and laid back, I remember one night these two drunk girls came in with a pizza from Little Caesar’s down the street and asked if they could eat it at the bar and the bartender was like«F*ck yeah!» Haha they even offered us a slice, but we respectfully declined. :P Parking kinda sucks, but where in LA does parking NOT suck?

This gem is just outside of The NoHo Arts District. 2 for 1 happy hour until 10pm! Cool vibe, good clientele, great service and relaxing establishment — classy even. It’s on a busy street, so parking isn’t easy. But once you’re in, it’s golden.

I’ve gone to this joint every night after a comedy show I used to perform in at a local theater. It’s a great spot to hang with friends and meet new people. There’s plenty to do! Happy Hour has some sweet deals for those of you who like sharing. The pool table is always fun. The jukebox is just the best feature. The couches and seating areas are fun to lounge around in. If you’re a smoker, you’ll always find people hanging around outside. For being a bar in such a humble location, I have to say that this place is poppin’! This is a bar that I’ve met many beautiful girls in as well. *WINKWINK* I’m not the type to pick up girls in a bar but hey! I’ve had a lot of good times at this spot. The environment is fresh and memorable. The bouncers are cool. It’s okay to pregame a little before you visit. I always do! Double thumbs up!

My friend said this place had the best happy hour in town, so we came here and… it was closed. At 7pm on a Saturday? Why? So, we left. But then we came back. Good call because it’s hard to beat 2-for-1 drinks while enjoying endless games of pool. We got lucky in that very few people were inside, and nobody wanted the table, so we were able to play a few uninterrupted games while enjoying our multitude of drinks. Nice atmosphere in here, too. Dark, with some good secluded corners. Minimal lighting where required. It isn’t very dive-y despite the outward appearance.
