This is great small bar to come to! I enjoy playing pool or a game of shuffle board! They have a vast assortment of beers but I like to get the magic hat or the raspberry beer. The beer isn’t on tap which is the only downside to this place. Overall I always have a good time here

Wish they would upgrade their shots menu. A little foo foo even for me. But overall a fun establishment for games and hanging with your old friends.

Fun, good beer selection, good pool table area in the back. But the music is way too quiet, you feel like you’re misbehaving if you have a good time. And they serve no hard liquor– my biggest pet peeve in the world. Lots of people are not beer drinkers, so don’t take them here.

Played shuffle board with my girlfriend and tried a few new IPA. Been here a few times now with a few coworkers and played pool.

I came here for the first time yesterday, I really like the spot. They have shuffle board, pool tables, and beer pong. There was a food truck outside too! My cousin and I played pool first then we played beer pong. The place was crowded on a Friday night, but overall good times! We won beer pong all night against the people we played.

Cool place. Hipster feel. Good prices. Shuffle Board! i could just stop at shuffle board and I’m sure a bunch of people are sold. haha. They do have pool tables, beer pong and a photo booth. I’m glad we found this place searching for nearby bars on Unilocal because walking around I would never think it was a bar because it was dark, un named and seemed very quiet. We almost walked right past it! This place only has bottled beers, but they have such a huge variety that I’m sure you’ll find one that you love! They have craft beers, imported beers… name it, Im sure they have it! All beers are decently priced(5 – 10 dollars) but they do have a couple rare and more expensive beers like(a Mango beer priced at 16 dollars). There are shot specials that are $ 2 dollar lemon drop shots or jolly rancher shots with a purchase of a beer. Since there is not a food menu, there was a food truck parked outside at the entrance. I was told that its a different food truck depending on the night. Thats a really cool idea! The bartender was really nice, welcoming and attentive. Overall was a good experience!

I’m giving this place 5 stars simply for the fact that Mike B. is a badass when he responds to negative Unilocal Reviewers — Kudos for standing your ground and telling these pretentious and entitled turds to piss off! Having been here a couple of times however,(the last being a couple of months ago), I will say that my only critique is not having glassware for the delightful beers they have. Perhaps this has changed since my last visit but I certainly believe in giving a good beer a solid vessel in which to drink from. Great place for a no frills, rough around the edges, don’t wear your skinny jeans, excellent time.

Great place to try a large variety of bottled beers, from craft to import to whatever. One thing it’s not is a traditional pub, no draft beer, no warm welcoming feeling, and no in-house food. The rest is here, bottled only though, the bar on regular nights is attentive and on point. On busy nights, like tonight service was slow, by slow I mean 12 minutes before I got my beers after flagging down a second bar tender or should I say bottle-opener. This is a prime example of what America does to great ideas like a pub. Somehow this American pub is good though. Let’s start with the negative. The place gets a little stuffy but not the too bad, freshest area is the front by far. The bar is a little sticky, as if it needs a solid hard finish. Parking can be tricky but not horrible. With all the negative aspects considered, it’s a solid hangout with pool, darts, and shuffle board. Now for the Good. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is good. Great place to take friends and play some classic games, take pics in the photo booth, or just chill and people watch. There is also a food truck outside on most weekend nights, which is convenient. The Brickyard Pub is a must try if your into the valley bar scene. 3.8 stars for me, there is always room for improvement though.

I’m not a big NoHo fan, but when I’m in this part of town, I pick this spot. Great, chill spot. Pool tables, shuffle board, darts, and cute bartenders. I mean. What more can you ask for. They only serve beer here. I’m not a beer drinker at all, but I always end up with one in my hand. Cheers!

No tap. Major markups. LOUD. Only bottled beer 4x the store price. A good place to get lost in the crowd, but if I wanted bottled beer I’d go buy it for so much cheaper. Like sitting in a warehouse. All they need is cockfighting in one corner and the picture would be complete. I can’t imagine this place without a crowd. Hellishly bare and cheap. But it has a crowd, so clearly their model is working.

My kind of place. Loved everything about it. They have a nice mix of good beer and fun weird beer and they treat you well. We got the $ 2 shots with a beer deal, super yummy jolly rancher shots. Definitely want to go back!

Bottles only– No draft beer. If you check in right now you get a buck off of your first bottle. Also, Thursday nights you get a deal on pool. Cool place to grab a drink, play some pool, take some photo booth pics, take a gander at the food truck hanging outside and to avoid the glance of a stranger.

Went here the other night for a friends bday gathering and walked in with no idea what to expect, at the very least I walked away very surprised and glad I found this place. Its a chill dark bar with ample space with all types of beer and stuff to drink, prices are good too as theres drinks of all price ranges. They have darts, shuffleboard, and a huge room in the back to play billiards. All while having pretty decent music playing and tv screens to show sports on. Its on magnolia so parking can suck big time but other than that this place might be a new go to bar for me, OHAND UnilocalHAS A CHECKINDEAL which makes it all the better to at least try once. Good job Noho!

Friendly staff, very cordial and welcoming — it’s a clean environment and the dining lights make it perfect. Pool tables are great and there is room to move about — had a great experience Not to mention: happy hour pool from 7pm-9pm $ 5 p/h

Went here to play darts. It was A-OK. Very dark inside, including the dart board area. You have to rent a dark board, for about $ 4 per thirty minutes. OK, I get it. I am OK paying a fee to ensure I have a dart board and people don’t camp them all night. Wait staff is super hot. The bar is pretty cool. But I don’t go to bars to drink, I go to play darts. I’ll stick with better lit places ^_^

(Drank 01÷31÷15SA @ 7:00pm): Nothing but net at this concrete playground in the San Fernando Valley! First off, mad props to fellow Unilocal Elite Dora B. who organized a kick-arse UYE(Unofficial Unilocal Event) at The Brick Yard Pub in the NoHo part of North Hollywood(yes, there was an area that wasn’t worthy of the cool moniker; I knew because I lived in said grittier area years ago and I believed there were some hoes!). With another location in the heart of Hollywood, this one in The Valley was most centralized for those who came out for a night of meet-and-greet, fun-and-games, and most of all drinking! And, the men vs. women gauntlet challenge was on(FYI…men won)! Here was a glimpse into the evening: Happy Hour Special(7pm-9pm): Buy 2 Beers Get 1 Free($ 8.00×2) — Happy hour on a Saturday night — heck yeah! For a Saturday night, the deal was good when the three beers I ordered averaged out to $ 5.33 each which was about standard any other night of the week. Quick reviews of my selected brews : ~Barbar Honey Ale — I was sweet on this honey! ~Lagunitas Brown Shugga — No discrimination here, I was down with brown! ~Magic Hat #9 — There was no magic in this tall hat… bleh! Beer Pong + Your Choice Of Beer(Free + $ 6.00×2) — From dorm rooms and emptied-out garages to now bars and clubs everyone, this drinking game finally had its due with ever-growing popularity. Reserve a table, select your libations(Shock Top Apple and Raspberry for this particular match), and enjoy the flying ping-pong show! Chug, chug, chug!!! Bottled Waters($ 1.00×4) — Ummm… some peeps and I needed to sober up. Lemon Drop Shots(sorry, didn’t remember the price) — Thanks to fellow Unilocal Elite Jennica R.‘s boyfriend(also named Jeff!) who bought these ginormous shots! They were alcohol-packed with a nice sweetness and went down easily! Shuffleboard(First 30 Minutes Free with drink purchase) — While I worked for a cruise line and had been on 15 cruises, I honestly never played this onboard game. But on land, I couldn’t get enough of this diminuative version. And, I ruled at it! Take a number as others enjoyed it as much as I did. Service — When we arrived the place was starting to pump. A male bartender got our initial drink order immediately. As the evening continued, the crowd grew and it expectedly got tougher to get any bartenders’ attention for more drinks. But once our turn was up, the bartenders still had friendly smiles on their faces and worked with energy and efficiency. They were very helpful when it was time to rent a few billiard tables($ 5.00/hour), a beer pong table, and the shuffleboard. When it was finally time to close out, our credit cards where ready and we got out with no problems. All was good in the Yard! Parking(Free to varied) — My buddy and I parked at a nearby grocery store and walked a couple blocks. Otherwise, there were nearby lots with varied rates, as well as plenty of metered(valid until 8pm) and non-metered street parking along the main drag of Magnolia Blvd. and all surrounding streets. Atmosphere, décor, ambience — A huge layout all centered around a long two-sided bar in the middle , there was a mostly seated area to the right, a games and seated area to the left, and a large billiard and beer pong hall in the back with multiple tables of each. Generally speaking, there still was enough room throughout to move around. The bar area was dimly lit but your eyes soon adjusted, while the back hall was flooded with electric lighting(no natural lighting to be found). Some advertisements sparcely hung on the walls. There were a few TVs while loud rock music blared in the background. Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, The Brick Yard Pub was a really fun place, and I had a blast as I made a ton of new Unilocal friends(too many to mention) and hung out with already-existing ones. The games alone would bring me back and the vibe was chill. They had only bottled beers, no food was served but allowed from the outside, and parking was tough. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(total bill was around $ 35.00 before tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX! 4.0STARS

RACK’EM, STACK’EM, SHUFFLE’EM, THROW’EM, CHUG’EM!!! BACKGROUND: What was once a run-down North Hollywood Billiards is the Brickyard Pub. The bar offers over 70 different bottled beers and features pool tables, darts, shuffle boards and beer pong tables. STATS: Parking!!! In NoHo? Ha!!! Good luck Sunday — Saturday 7:00 p.m. — 2:00 a.m. Table and game reservations for parties of 10+ available Happy Hour Specials EXPERIENCE: First time here was a couple years ago with a friend/beer snob who was pleasantly surprised they had Yuengling lager among other great libations. Since then my Unilocal BFF have been here several times, as well as friends. Most recently a fellow Unilocaler had asked me if this would be a good place to have a UYE. Thought she had read my raving review about the place, when she pinged me with all sorts of questions. I was like, it’s in my review, then I realized I never posted it. Oooops! My bad. Anywhoo, what I like most about this place… well, to keep this review under 5,000 characters, perhaps I should just mention what I don’t like about NoHo’s Brickyard location. The parking!!! Yep, that’s it the parking, but that’s the case for any venue in the valley. If you find metered parking, go buy a lotto ticket, because it’s your lucky day. Valet parking is $ 10, plus tip, or you can just leave your car at home and walk, regardless of how far away you live. In addition, the Red Line is a couple blocks away. Yeah, this place is an off the pool stick, dart throwin’, shuffle board, beer pong watering hole. Causal down to earth peeps hang here and with 100 – 150 beer choices, and the buy 2 beers get one free, along with the 50% off pool and two jolly rancher shots makes their happy hour menu far better than most. Personally, I prefer arriving earlier when it’s not so crowded, than afterwards, because it does get crowded, so I’m told. The bar flies tend to start flying about 10:00 p.m., which is the time I head out. Btw, you’ll notice most reviews state that this joint isn’t the easiest to find. No huge sign overhead, no bright disco lights spinning, and no deafening music shooting out the doorway and windows. But if you find yourself at Bow & Truss, you’re so there, it’s right next door. If you’re facing B&T, it’s literally RIGHT next door. If your back is facing B&T it’s on your other right. In add-on to all the fun stuff mentioned above… I’ve been flattered by the bouncer every time, so be prepared and bring your 21 and over legit ID. Review 36 Unilocal 100+ Challenge 2015

Well we all finally got together at this place. It doesn’t matter what venue you may attend or go, its the people at the venue that make it worth while. This location was hard to find at first because of the lighting of this establishment and the address is not well lit. Parking, for get about it. They do provide valet parking $ 8.00,next time this is what I would do. This location sells only beer and lots of it, from seasonal beers, pale and wheat ales and most of all the regular name brands beers, bud, Coors, lite beers, such a big variety of so many different beers from a over. The entertainment part if this Establishment has a jute box with a large variety of music that makes you dance right in your spot and believe they where dancing in there spot. Some people had writ-hum and others didn’t, but it was all good. The pool tables cost $ 5.00 bucks per hour and I believe there where about 8 of them. As a group we played pool and played beer pong. In round 1 yes the men prevailed and yet the ladies said they won round 2, ok so its even.Rematch. The bartenders where very accommodating to our needs and were doing the best job to their ability. Great Job. This location serves no food, however it was mentioned that they would allow you to bring it inside. As I left there was a catering truck parked right outside the location. To all the Unilocalers who I met for the first time. I enjoyed your company and most of all your friendship. To Dora B Good Job for putting this venue on. Its on for the next time. 2015 Unilocal Challenge 017⁄100.

Great bar to come to whenever your in North Hollywood. The beer is served in bottles and the variety of beers is great. So many choices for all kinds of beer and craft beers enthusiast. From pale ales, wheat ales, IPAS, Mexican beer, brown ales, seasonal beers, favorites and stouts as well as other alcohol drinks and non alcoholic. I got here after 10 pm last night and it was pretty busy. It took me a couple minutes to order a drink as all the bartenders were busy. I ordered a hanger 24 orange wheat. It was the first time I was trying it. It was very easy to drink and smooth, no harsh taste after. The bar is really big and stocked up. Brickyard pub also has dart boards, pool tables, peer bong, a photo booth and a place to take a picture with it saying #brickyard pub I wanted to say thanks to Dora B. For setting up the event. I do apologize for my late entrance but I was happy to check this place out. It is a really chill hangout to come with friends and to try different kinds of beers and play pool.
