This little place is always busy! Took in a watch and a ring for sizing. Watch was fixed on the spot for $ 10 (two links removed) and ring ($ 39 to size) took two days. I’m very happy with how they both turned out! Will definitely be back!

This place is the best! I have ring obsession and I’m constantly buying rings that I need resized for my very small fingers. Generales is the only place I trust. Plus, they also have resized rings beautifully for me that numerous other jewelers had said wasn’t possible. I highly recommend — not to mention Sylvia and Peter are the sweetest.

This place is amazing! The staff was wonderful! I ordered a ring rush delivery and they went above and beyond to have it ready for me. They even did a great wrapping job! Will be shopping here in the future. :)

Peter is the best! I highly recommend this store. I came here a year ago searching for an engagement ring. I stopped at a few other well-​reviewed stores in LA but they all had higher prices than I expected. On top of all that, they tried to up-​sell me on everything. You get none of that phony businessy-​vibe from Peter.
When I met with Peter, I told him precisely what I had in mind and what my budget was. He suggested that we custom-​make the ring (his specialty) to fit my standards and pricing. He searched all over the Valley for the ideal rock and never showed any impatience when I turned down his selections. We eventually found the perfect rock and he was able to get everything together for the price I had in mind. His pricing, quality, and relations with costumers far surpassed anything I found at Tiffany’s or Jared.
We also met with Peter last weekend to pick out our wedding bands. He helped my fiancée immediately pick out the band she dreamt of, even tho it was way over the price we wanted. Again, he worked his magic and knocked $ 700 off the asking price!
So if you’re looking to get something special, he will custom make whatever it is you want to meet your budget. His professionalism in his work and his bonds with his costumers has guaranteed my business for life.

Nice little shop off of riverside in Toluca Lake. Came here for some wedding bands and the girl that helped me and my fiancé was very friendly and knowlegable. She helped us find very nice rings and gave us a good price on them as well.

This review is long overdue! Love having this jewelry store in the Toluca Lake area. The customer service couldn’t be better. Sylvia and Peter really know their jewelry. Got 3 beautiful necklaces for Christmas an my birthday.

I wanted to purchase an engagement ring, but didn’t want a typical diamond ring with a million little jewels around it. I went down to the jewelry district. I didn’t find anything that was interesting and frankly, was completely overwhelmed. So, I entrusted Unilocal to look for a jewelry shop near by home and stopped by to see what they had to offer.
When I saw how small it was, I assumed I wouldn’t find anything, but went in anyway. I found an array of interesting, unique pieces. I ended up finding a ring that I used for my engagement ring (and matching necklace). I love it so much!!! Peter (owner) was great, no pressure.
We liked the selection of neat pieces that we ended up coming back for a wedding band for my husband as well. He ended up with a black seranite (ceramic) ring that was very reasonably priced.
I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a piece with some character.

well, thats the 3^rd time I took something to this jeweler who cannot fix a broken bracelet clasp, or repair an estate watch or charges a very large fee for sizing even if I have the pieces and seems not to bothered to help with appraisals on vintage pieces, etc… EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with their lack of knowledge and customer service… taking my estate jewelery business elsewhere…

This is THE jewelry store that my family and my mothers friends all go to for custom work. Peter Generales is the nicest person, so patient, kind, and most importantly, does the greatest work. After I searched all over town looking for an engagement ring, I went to Peter and he made me exactly what I had thought about in my mind… Now he’s working in my wedding band! :-) I’m very excited! After my father passed away, I brought Generales and Generales my father’s watch to re-​dip in gold. It was an inexpensive watch but it meant very much to me after his passing. It turned out the material needed to re-​dip the watch was unavailable in the state of California. They gave the watch back to me with their apologies but when I explained to them the significance of the watch, they took it back and spent months finding a jeweler who had the materials needed to restore my watch. I called a few times, sure that they had given up, but every time they told me they were still working on it. Sure enough, they somehow were able to restore my watch. They went far above and beyond I am so grateful. They are a wonderful business and I highly recommend them to anyone.

My absolute favorite jewelry store! I have been a customer for 6 years now and would not take my business anywhere else. Even after moving I still make a special trip to Generales & Generales. They have repaired & reworked just about every piece of jewelry I own. There is nothing they can’t do! They also take a lot of pride and care in everything they do. And to top it off, seeing their shining warm faces everytime I walk through the door takes the experience to a whole other level. They are like family to me :-)

I love Generales & Generales. I got my engagement ring there two years ago and LOVE it! Peter is GREAT and the entire staff is so friendly. I also bought a watch for my fiancé at G&G and he loves it!

I needed a miracle worker and I found one in Peter Generales. My platinum wedding ring was crushed by a car when it slipped off my finger and rolled into traffic, and Peter was able to reshape it back into a circle and clean up the dings and scratches. On top of that, it slipped off because it was too large (I’ve lost weight since the wedding), and I’d been told by the manufacturer that resizing it wasn’t possible because of the intricate engraving, but Peter successfully resized it, and even hand-​engraved the seam to make the pattern match. And all of that for a very reasonable price. Considering the ring’s condition when I brought it in, Peter did a truly amazing job. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I bought a watch a couple of days ago for my son’s 21^st birthday. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous in finding the perfect watch. It needed sizing so we went back yesterday and they took care of it one the spot, no appointment necessary. This was a wonderful experience.

I stopped here recently and found a gem. The staff is so helpful and they have a beautiful selection. Also, if they don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, they will go out of their way to accommodate. They really care about their customers! Everyone should come here, you won’t be disappointed.

So, I needed my watch to get a little refresh and figured I’d give this place a try. It was easy as cake, walked in, dropped my watch off, came back and got a brand new watch! Er… I mean almost brand new, at least it LOOKED new!

Great service. The owners and employees know their stuff. I’ve been going to Generales for couple of years now and they are very helpful. As a guy, I like that I told them what occasion I am shopping for & my budget and they always suggest great stuff. The best part, my wife loved her necklace I bought for our anniversary and wears it everyday!

If it’s a watch repair I need, I’ll definitely not be going back here. The crown popped off my watch so I brought it in. They had me leave it with them for a couple hours while they took it in back to see what was wrong with it. When I got it back, there were three other pieces removed from it and I was told it was gonna cost $ 300+ to fix it. The problems may have been legit but having it brought into a back room for a few hours and receiving it back with extra parts broken makes me feel duped. My fault. I should have requested to be present while they looked it over. Lesson learned

If you own a Rolex watch you MUST bring it here for a general service. After 12 years my Rolex Sea Dweller stopped working. The entire 12 years my watch ran a bit fast, which others had told me was «normal for a Rolex.»
After the technician replaced the spring it keeps PERFECTLY ACCURATE time and they cleaned and polished it to a gleaming SHOWCASE condition. (All of the nicks and surface scratches were polished out and it still gleams!)
If you own a quality time piece, you owe it to yourself to have it working and looking its best and as far as I’m concerned, this is the only jeweler in town to do the job. Generales & Generales = quality work, great prices and friendly service.
