Simple order, plain bagel with butter. What I get is a plain bagel, with a hint of butter on one corner of the bagel nothing at all on the rest and the taste of everything else the knife was using beforehand in my breakfast, including what looked like marinara sauce??? This was my third try at this place. Tiny portion on a bagel sandwich (tuna) and sloppy creation along with a high price for what you got made me stop trying lunch there, you’re better off going into FoodTown next door — very solid pre-​made sandwich selection. This was the second bad bagel. If they took another 5 seconds making it, maybe they could do it right, but they don’t. Done with them, too many other good options like Sam’s and Sunrise.

Good Service, clean, and they have the best chicken salad. I like my bagel toasted and I find at times they don’t really toast enough. You have to tell them well toasted!

Simply the best. I’m there every morning. Everyone is super friendly and the food is great! They also have a juice bar now with all sorts of stuff.

Best bagel joint around. Period. My wife has an unusual allergy to pork, and the owner went out of his way to clean the grill and get new utensils to make her egg sandwich. Awesome people. If I could give them 6 stars I would

I travel to North Haledon fom Florida to see friends a couple times per year. I have to get bagels to bring home every time. NY Bagels are the best. Staff is excellent. They keep the line going and always get the order right.

If you’re looking for a really great bagel place in the area, look no further. I’ve been to others in the area and they are no match. Just think warm, soft, perfect bagels. They make a pretty bad ass taylor ham and cheese sandwich too I may add…
The coffee isn’t gourmet or anything but it’s still pretty good and will compliment your breakfast choice, nicely.
The place is pretty busy on weekends. If you don’t have time for that, call ahead and place your order so it will be ready when you arrive (just remember you still have to wait on the line to pick it up and pay for it). They have a lot of people working, so it goes quick.

This place is the first bagel place I could ever give 5 stars. It’s excellent.
For starters, it’s run very well. The staff is quick and they don’t keep you waiting long.
Next, the bagels are great. Well-​sized and tasty. The cream cheese is good too.
My favorite is the Taylor ham, egg and cheese. If I want to have an awesome day I’ll stop here in the morning for one of these and a cup of coffee.

The hands down KING of all bagels. I’ve had bagels all over North Jersey and I can honestly say if I had to choose one food to eat for the rest of my life it would be a buttered bagel from here. Big, usually still warm, with the perfect mix of softness on the inside and a slight crust on the outside. Coffee is exceptional as well and every day they have a different flavored coffee… during the week at least.
Its the biggest thing I miss about not living in that area anymore. The place is usually packed so leave some time especially on the weekends. Just tell them to go light on the butter or cream cheese, its a very thick butter and you usually get a lot unless you ask for less. Also tell them to make sure to cut it all the way through… mant times on the way to work, I’ve had to preform «bagel surgery» while driving and if I ever crashed my car because of a bagel…
