Manchester Bagels Deli & Grill

I think the place went out of business. Newspaper up in the window and phone number doesn’t ring saying the call cannot go through. I remember riding my bike on a Sunday at 8:00 AM and they had no bagels and seemed to have just opened. On a Sunday? That and Saturday have to be your busiest days. If that is how they ran the business it’s no wonder they went out of business. Go to New York bagel by foodtown. Great bagels and menu.

Friendly staff but bagel is not good at all. Unless they improve the quality, I’d not come back here. It is cheaper than other bagel shop next to foodtown nearby, but quality should be competitive. I gave two stars for staff but quality is 1 star.

Bagels aren’t that good, and I have had the same experience as other reviewers. They are cheap with the cream cheese when you order more than one bagel. One of my pet peeves is consistency. Stop skimping on the cream cheese and cheating your customers. There is a great bagel joint by the food town that I am more than happy to drive 3 minutes to for a good bagel.

I have tried this place several times. It is close to my home and really want to like it. The service is friendly, but the bagels just aren’t good. I wish I had a better review.

I have been here several times, and every time I have been disappointed. For an example I got a bagel with cream cheese and lox, there wasn’t even enough cream cheese to cover the bagel, (kind of crazy for such a pricy item) and today I got a bacon egg and cheese and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The location is convenient, however the product is lacking and so is the service I’d rather take my businesses elsewhere.

Food is just o.k., service is slow and employees that I had experience with seemed like they did not want to be there.

This place is clean and new, but I have had food twice from this place once for a bagel and once for chicken cutlet sandwich. Both times disappointed. Bacon, egg, and cheese bagel had hardly any bacon and egg in it. And this chicken cutlet sandwich is tough like a boot. The bread is ok, and so is the veggies. Bit down into the chicken and I felt like was eating rocks this is the last time for me. It’s seasoned fine, but overcooked. Rookie mistake.

I had the same issue multiple times with too little toppings. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bagels for the week, because I didn’t want to put any cream cheese on a bagel I would be eating in a few days. And they barely gave me enough cream cheese for my one bagel. Yet very other time you order a bagel with cream cheese they over fill the bagel.
We get bagels here almost every week, I’ve gotten dozens of bagels for work this is my go to bagel shop.
No way to treat loyal customers.

I’m lowering my review because of a disappointing move I have experienced from this place on numerous occasions now.
If I order a bagel with scallion cream cheese it costs $ 2.75. I never complained because they load on a ton of cream cheese and make it worth the money. However, the last few times I went, I ordered a bagel with scallion cream cheese plus a few plain bagels for my breakfast the next few days and they purposefully put the most thin amount of cream cheese (barely enough to cover one bagel) because they think you are ordering plain bagels so you can take the cream cheese off one and add it to another.
I was so close to driving back the other day and complaining because I got home and my bagel had barely enough cream cheese on it to coat it. $ 2.75 and you are going to skimp!
Ugh. Cheap and annoying move Manchester.

Haven’t tried anything but the breakfast bagels so far so don’t feel justified in a full rating.
They do have a cinnamon french toast bagel that I have never seen in the local shops which is great toasted and buttered.
The place looks clean, service could be a little quicker but will come back and re-​review after I’ve been there a few times.
