It was a great place to get yarn and lessons. It has since gone out of business.

Last week a friend and I traveled to the north coast. We stopped to see April and got swept away with the yarn. My friend wanted to try a variation on a pattern she’d done before and although she is a proficient crocheter she is fairly new to knitting. April helped her get started and showed her an inexpensive yarn to try it out on. We were there several hours and during that time other people came in and knitted as well. It was great fun and I left with one of her homemade bags full of yarn. Love you April and your store is so fun!

whenever I travel, I love to visit yarn stores, but I always feel knitters lane really holds its own to other yarn shops in the big cities. it has a wonderful yarn selection. the true charm of this yarn store is the friendly vibe, and the owners willingness to always help.

April Lane has created a warm inviting spot for yarnies to gather. She carries many different yarns ranging from your workhorse cascade 220 to luxurious 100% cashmere. She is always happy to help everyone that walks in the door and especially enjoys teaching customers new techniques. The above reviewer could not be more wrong about this wonderful addition to the community.
