Bill & Mary’s Diner And Creative Catering

Yum! My boyfriend and I are big on eating out for breakfast on the weekends at small, family-​owned places, and Bill & Mary’s is one of our favorites! I’ve been going here since I was in high school — now I’m 25 and go every time I’m in North Canton. I’ve always had friendly and prompt service. The menu is fairly diverse and, in my opinion, fair prices! You can get standard and simple breakfast dishes for very reasonable prices. My absolute favorite is Bill’s Diner Fries! So delicious!

Bummer. Been once before and it was OK. Waitress preoccupied and owner on the phone. When it takes a while to get a menu, then they’re out of biscuits, then they mangled a waffle but brought it over just in case we wanted it anyway… should have cut our losses and left. But made the mistake of eating the omelet I’d ordered even though I knew it had been sitting waiting during the waffle snafu. Dry with dry tomatoes and dried up flat hash browns. Was surprised to be given a check after all of the stumbles. Won’t come back especially after the excellent breakfast we had at another spot down the street.

Another great visit today! Had pumpkin pancakes and red flannel hash. Delish! Even better than the first visit… and did I mention Donna? She’s sweeter than the muffins they sell! Great people great food. Simple as that.

My waffle wasn’t warm so I was hoping the syrup would be hot. It was cold so I politely asked for it to be heated in the microwave. The waitress asked some kid working in the kitchen to nuke it for me – he gives her a look but sticks it in. Beep. No one gets it out. Then I see someone open the door and put something else in. My syrup is MIA for well over five minutes and I’m trying to catch someones eye to ask about it. Everyone seems to be avoiding looking at me, which happened when we first came in as well. Finally the waitress comes over and I ask and she finds it… under the heat lamp. Of course its cold again at this point so she puts it back in. When she comes back I ask if she’ll please pop in my cheese grits, too. They were only just warm when I got them and when I had stirred in the cheese they had sprinkled on top they became cold. She gave me a look like I was being difficult – the one thats borderline eye-​rolling – and takes the grits. Some other kid brings them back. She apologized later but not like she thought she should. Thought some discount would be given, but no.
Ive been once before and it was okaaay, but overall the prices are a bit high sometimes for what you get and other people in my group were not impressed with their food. Also, there was a sour smell of garbage coming from under the counter. Wont be back.

Loved this place! Our waitress„ was so friendly and very talkative. She checked on us a lot. The food was delicious and very customizable. Portions were large. Seems like a lot of regulars here, but the waitresses still make it nice for everyone. Like others said, seems family oriented and can be a bit loud. Definitely will keep this in mind next time I’m in town.

Noise levels are pretty high. Very family oriented. Our waitress’s name is Tonya, very nice. Smells are good can’t wait for the food… … … We got homemade gravy and biscuits, and a side of over easy eggs, sausage, and ham. Ham was outstanding. Best I’d ever had. The biscuits were to DIE for! the way they’re supposed to be. Price, for what we got was good. Would come back again, maybe try lunch next time.

One of the best restaurants for breakfast in this town! We always have the same guy server and he is good! Love everything about this restaurant.

Great breakfast place – good location in the center of town with plenty of parking. Has an old school diner feeling that’s had to find now days. The service is friendly and the restaurant is kept up well.

Awesome food. Hometown diner feel. Pleasant staff. Only complaint is that you leave smelling slightly like you were, well, in a diner. They are *very* steady on Saturday mornings, so be sure to come early.

Bill & mary’s fits the bill for a textbook local diner. My Dad and I frequent the restaurant being so conveniently close to home. The place has come a long way from previous years. The renovations and updates of the menu really establishes them as a local landmark. The experience is everything you would expect but more. Breakfast is my favorite time to go but the lunch and dinner choices are just as good.

I was hoping to have a really good breakfast here. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great either. Typical diner food with really good service. However, the food was just average. I was pretty disappointed by the country fried steak which was just a basic processed fried meat patty and the gravy was pretty bland and basic. The prices are fair.
Overall, we had a decent meal but I won’t be coming here again.

The best breakfast in town. I’ve never had better bacon. Friendly staff; a great little place in N Canton.

Bill and Mary’s Diner has the best potato cakes my taste buds have ever had… and some other good food too.
I was a tad disappointed with the Philly Cheese Steak omelet. Maybe I’m just a cheese steak snob, but it didn’t do it for me. The omelet tasted just fine, just not as good as I expected. The home fries were another matter all together. With enough salt they were good enough to eat, but didn’t have enough natural flavor of their own to make them worth the effort.
The only great thing I would say about Bill and Mary’s is that the potato cakes are fantastic. While I wouldn’t avoid going there again, I als wouldn’t go out of my way to go back… except to get some more potato cakes.
