Keiona is horrible. No customer service at all. I ordered a large spicy chicken meal and received a small regular chicken sandwich meal. Also ordered a full size Apple pecan chicken salad and didn’t receive any pecans. Orders get messed up occasionally but you can’t mess the order up and be rude as hell too. She should be fired.

Nice people that pay it forward! ! I thank you for always being so kind. The computer system went down today and management went out of their way to accommodate my family.

I have been to this location several times and on average it is… Perfectly average. Sometimes the food is horrible, but the device is friendly. Other days it’s the opposite. Today I got the spicy chicken sandwich combo with small fries and Diet Coke. The fries were scalding hot and crispy, but I think they forgot to salt them? The chicken filet was also piping hot and delicious, with extra lettuce as I had requested. Unfortunately, I am always disappointed with the tomato as it is always a tiny wheel on a big bun and I don’t get it in any of my initial bites. Overall, today the food was on point and I enjoyed my lunch immensely. On the other hand, the service was abysmal. I could barely understand the girl on the speaker and had to ask her to please repeat herself several times. I was never welcomed to Wendy’s and never got a thank you for coming or see you again. In fact, when I got to the window the girl never said one single word to me. She took my card in exchange for the drink, handed my food and card out of the window at the same time and when I asked for chili sauce packets she turned around, picked them up and handed them to me silently. Meanwhile her facial expression never changed, no smile or nod of the head to evening knowledge that I was in my car looking at her. I had a flickering thought to go in and ask to speak to the manager, because they may not know about the bad day that their employee is clearly having. I didn’t do that, however, so hopefully they read their Unilocal reviews!

I usually go to the Monticello Wendy’s because it is close to my work, the food is good for fast food, and I always have a good experience. However, I noticed on my bank statement today that I had been over charged for my meal(twice the price) earlier in the week. I couldn’t find the receipt for that meal(I found other receipts in the trash from other visits so I figured it wasn’t put in the bag when I ordered it) so I thought I was out of luck. I figured it was worth a shot to explain my situation so I went up there and informed the manager and showed her my bank statement and the other receipts which were the same order as the overcharged meal. She said she could look it up in the system and I told her that I would simply prefer to have the meal that I paid for since I was hungry anyway and she obliged. I don’t know the manager’s name but she was very kind, helpful, and apologetic. She also upsized my meal. It was a very pleasant experience that I thought could have gone the other way since I did not have my receipt. Besides the accidental overcharge, which I’m sure was an honest mistake, this Wendy’s has very good customer service from my experience.

Of the big three, Wendy’s has always been my choice. The quarter-pound single has always been my go-to burger at Wendy’s. I just learned, however, that not all Wendy’s are made equal; the one on Monticello in Norfolk is one location that both Wendy and Dave would not be proud of. Without further ado, the food was cold. It was as if they took the burger components out of the fridge and just slapped them together. The bun was cold; the burger was room temp at best; with my preference of extra lettuce and tomatoes, it was like I was eating a cold ham and cheese. I’ve been to a lot of Wendy’s and this was the first time to be served something that was this awful. They good part of the meal was the fries; they were hot, I think, because I asked for ‘no salt’. Maybe this location is not as busy as some and the food just sits around. I didn’t think Wendy’s burgers were in a holding pattern; I guess they just might be at the Monticello Wendy’s. If you want Wendy’s and near Ghent, choose another burger joint; there are definitely a plethora to choose from. I started to kick myself immediately!

I normally do not write reviews but because I was blown away by this store; I had too. The Wendy’s I went to was on N. Military Hwy in Norfolk, VA. This store is newly built or remodeled. This store really does have over 100 different drinks. That’s not mixing 2 different drinks together. This location offered real desserts e.g. brownies, cookies. I tried the brownies with fudge on top; it was good. I loved the design and flow of the restaurant. Staff was friendly, nice and the restaurant was clean. I would go back any day of the week. I wish the Wendy’s in NC were like this.

POORSERVICE .this has got to be the slowest place on earth. Always one cashier, you stand in and when the prior gust order is taken the cashier just looks at you like your crazy, always has an attitude. Only reason i go here is because its close to work. sometimes the chilli is hot most times its just luke warm. Now there gonna serve breakfast. it won’t last !!!

A-OK indeed. If I had to choose a fast food burger(other than five guys and In and Out) Wendy’s would easily be at the top above McDonald’s and Burger King. However, you don’t go to Wendy’s for its burgers! You go for the Frosty, duh! They are open late now so I can have my Frosty at midnight… mmmm

Normally I wouldn’t review a fast food places like this but I had an experience there the other night that just makes me want to complain. We were in line for Wendys at about 1:45 am, they supposedly close at 2am and so we wait a few minutes in line get up to order and OFCOURSE we’re told that they are closed for the night. This would be fine had it actually been 2am, but it wasn’t and so I didn’t get to have my after-the-bar chicken nuggets. I know you guys can sympathize with me on that one. In all seriousness though, I know that someone has to be the last customer through but don’t close before you are supposed to… very aggravating situation.
