River Home Apartments

This place used to be amazing, it really did. But now it’s gone way down hill. The best feature of this place is the cleaning staff. These women are literally the nicest people I have ever met. The worst part, is how unsafe it is now. There’s constantly people trying to break into your apartments and cars. We personally have made several attempts to make them increase security, but they purposefully ignore them. The free computer and Internet don’t work. The staff in the office are very rude now. They won’t even let you know if there’s a package for you. So when you get a surprise gift from someone, and there’s perishable items, they will go rotten and ruin everything else in the package. Half the people I know that live here are counting down the days until we can leave. Do not rent from these guys!

Super nice apartments but definitely very expensive. Over 1600 for 2 bedroom which doesn’t include any utilities. Leasing staff is extremely nice. Overall a nice place to live.

i have lived here for 1 year and I have only one complaint which is the parking. the spaces seem very small and there should be more visitor parking. other than that I love it! the staff is amazing and very helpful. the buildings are always kept clean and smelling fresh. I am not a dog person and this is a very dog friendly community but I still really love living here.

My husband and I just moved to River House and we absolutely love it so far. The leasing staff is both helpful and personal. You cannot beat the views you get at these apartments. The river is literally in your backyard. The one bedroom apartments are very spacious and the kitchens are beautiful. The apartments feature a 24 hour fitness room and year round heated pool. Each apartment has a spacious balcony and two white chairs are provided. The only thing we can find to complain about are the small parking spaces, but aside from that we are truly in love with our new home!

The pool is heated and faces the water. awesome. 24 hour fitness room. 1499 2 bedroom special for the time being. Seems like a very nice place. Has a dock to enjoy the water. I like this place.

Excellent place to live. Friendly and helpful leasing agents and awesome maintenance personnel. The complex is only a few years old and located only a few miles from all the action in downtown Norfolk. If you work or stationed at Norfolk Station Station (NOB) or Little Creek it’s a fairly easy commute.
