Nothing upsets a customer that gets patronized when they’ve been let down. «…sorry you feel we have let you down. Please be assured, I am following up at my restaurant to address this issue.» «I’m sorry you FEEL we have let you down» — Boy that just gets it every time. I don’t FEEL, anything. They LETMEDOWN. When you hand food out of the window and say«here’s your food man!», it’s LETDOWN, not FEEL let down. There’s a difference.

Soooo stopped here for breakfast this morning. Saw that the drive-thru was packed so I took a chance on going on the inside. Upon approaching the line I saw two customers waiting. They were somewhat moving«I thought», then I realized that they were slow as molasses. To no avail after waiting a few minutes, the gentleman finally was ready to take my order. I ordered the #9 Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddle combo. It was about 4.79 or so without tax. After he rang me up it came to 6.06 and I asked him was it that much tax or did he charge me extra for something. In which he did because after a few seconds of trying to figure out what he did wrong the price went to 5.40.Finally got my food after a few seconds. But once I got to work it was fairly still warm. Not a lot of complaints on the food, just mainly the service. One of the guys in line with me also stated how slow they were and we both chuckled about it. We both said we would be avoiding this location in the future, and I said first and last time… So avoid this McDonalds in the morning if you can!

I rarely give such negative reviews, but this one deserves it. Just about 15 minutes ago, after waiting in a long line, I pulled up to the ordering window and sat there for about ten minutes without acknowledgement. Finally, when I finally got soneone, the first thing she told me was that it was cash only. A total of about 15 minutes wasted. I get that things get busy and card machines go down, but what kind of customer service is it to leave a customer waiting ten minutes and then telling the customer it’s cash only. Did whoever was working not think I would have wanted to know that before sitting there for ten minutes? Also, this was not the first time the machine was down. You live in the year 2015, people use credit cards. Perhaps get your act together and get a back up system. As for whoever was working — if you aren’t earning your paycheck at minimum wage by being Competent, what makes you think there will be support to increase the minimum wage to $ 12? As for the food — can’t review it because I didn’t get any. I went to Take Bell. THEIR machine works.

This is a uhmmm well«OK» McDonald’s just make sure you check you bag before you pull away from the drive threw… nearly everytime I go they forget something! They also charge for extra sauces… which they often forget to put in the bag as well.

My McDonald’s story begins in the drive-thru. I ordered a medium latte; got to the pay window super fast and fumbled around to find the 34 cents; So, you would think they had some extra time to complete my order, right? Well, I pulled up to the second window and she asked me to park in the dreaded drive-thru parking space. I sat there for almost 5 minutes before I got frustrated and went inside. As I walked in I made eye contact with the gent behind the counter; now he knows who I am, but doesn’t acknowledge me. Another few minutes pass and my frustration is increasing because I can see the monitor — they are moving McMuffins, Bacon, Egg and Cheese biscuits, and those McGriddle things, but my latte is no where to be found. After standing there for 3 minutes, the young lady at the drive-thru says to the gent, «I got a guy waiting for a latte outside.» The gent responds, «I think he’s standing right there.» Right! He knows who I am. My response, «I’ve been waiting for almost 10 minutes.» I finally received said latte and an unapologetic, «Sorry for the wait». Now, I’m running late as I see car after car pass through the drive-thru with coffee and breakfast as I wait for the ‘milk to be brought up.‘ Huge deal? Not really. Just don’t ask someone to go to drive-thru parking while you service other customers with ready-made food and make them wait 10 minutes for a latte that I could have received in a crowded Starbucks in 2 minutes or less. Moral of the story — pay the three bucks and go to Starbucks!

This is a pretty decent McDonald’s and I am not a huge fan of McDonald’s either. I come here because it’s right by work and is the cleaner/nicer of McDonald’s in the area. My major issue with McDonald’s is their staff — but this one has pretty friendly employees. I rarely get old, cold fried food here. Always hot and fresh — healthy for you though? LOL not so much!

This is one of the cleaner McDonalds in the area. Right next to ODU.
