I have been using this place for a year and today was the first time I had to interact with anyone that works here. It was not a nice interaction. The lady working today was the most unpleasant person and I was thinking what a total ass. She was sitting in her booth totally oblivious too her surroundings. I walked up to the booth to let her know that 2 of the dryers weren’t working correctly primarily the credit card readers. One of them you couldn’t increase the amount of time on it and the other one the card reader wasn’t working the other 3 I was using worked fine. So I thought I would let them now which ones so the business owner could get them fixed since more and more people are using cards to pay for services. I stood at her booth she then looked up at me didn’t say a word not even a hello, may I help you, not a word. I told her I wanted to let her know that 2 of the dryers the card readers were not working and I could tell her which ones, she looked at me and said«no I will figure it out«is this the kind of service this place has slumped too? I decided I will just go somewhere else as long as they have jerks like her working here. Also why don’t they install more credit card readers on their washer and dryers and take out the option to use coins on them? Also If your using a credit card you have to wait to use the washer or dryers that people are using with quarters and could have used other ones. This place is going downhill and it’s a shame cause it’s convenient and right in Ghent but if this is the kind of service this place is offering I’d would rather drive further elsewhere to get friendly service

Early and late hours, plenty of machines(including many that accept credit cards in addition to coins), a clean facility, brand-new floors, lots of seating, coin changers, A/C for the hot summer months, and a super helpful and friendly employee named Marion all make doing laundry here a little less painful for those without home washers and dryers. Bonus: proximity to Starbucks, Fairgrounds, Chipotle, The Ten Top, the Naro, and cute shops makes laundry day a little less boring. My only qualms are that the credit card readers seem to act up frequently and parking can be a chore.

I would only give one star due to HORRIBLE service and extreme rudeness from the woman I met and I was very pleasant with. It does have plenty of washers and dryers and is clean though and convenient location. A bit pricey. Also the machines to load your card for credit only works 10 percent of the time and if you ask for help expect to be given more attitude. Overall. Very disappointed.

Marion is incredible! She works Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday after three; unfortunately the other staff are not as awesome as her, it seems their efforts are based upon the daily drama in their lives. If you use this business go when she is there! Always a smile and the extra effort to lend a hand. After five during the week and after three on Sunday.

Clean and plenty of washers and dryers. Both smaller top loading washers and larger front loading washers are available. All cost the same and recommend high efficiency detergent. Quiet seating on padded benches along the wall. Small area with television also available. Wash n fold service available by the pound for those in a hurry. Limited parking, but plenty of on street parking along Shirley Ave.

Look, I would give this place 5 stars but because my big ass blankets and sleeping bags can’t fit in my washer/dryer.I don’t like parting with my money, man. Lol. But still, very convenient in the fact that you can use your credit/debit card here… no hassle of putting money onto another card to use on the machines. The lady working there is nice. The place is kept clean. Oh and Chipotle and Pita Pit is right across the street with starbucks just a block away. I want to live in Ghent.

I love this laundry mat for a few reasons. mostly I can always do all of families weekly my laundry for under $ 15 and more importantly, I can get a sandwich next door at Ten Top or a juice from Strawberry Fields while I wait on my clothes to wash. I never leave my clothes for too long, and I have never had a problem either. For the most part everyone there is really friendly.

I am so glad there is a walking distance laundromat in the heart of Ghent! It’s mostly coin machines but there is a small selection of washers and some dryers that you can pay for by debit/credit card which is great! Staff have always been friendly and helpful and I’ve never had an issue with any of the machines. It does not hurt that you can run across the street to the Naro Expanded Cinema and rent a few movies or over to Red Dog for a brew while you wait.

Laundry Land is the best place for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to have a washing machine and dryer, or if yours is on the fritz. It’s staff and location make it unbeatable. Right in the center of Ghent, I can swing by Laundry Land, throw a load in and go enjoy the surrounding coffee shops and restaurants. I can even catch a movie across the street. Of course, leaving your clothes is at your own risk, but I’ve never had a problem. The facilities are clean with plenty of machines so there’s usually no wait. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. It’s so nice to have someone there if your quarters are eaten. If you want to stick around, there is a TV and vending machine, but I say stroll around and don’t ever let laundry waste a good day again.
