Pasta is one of my favorite foods and this is one of my favorite pastas I’ve ever had! I got the Wisconsin Mac n cheese w/chicken and it was outstanding! Very cheesy with the mixture of shredded and liquid cheese, my grilled chicken was also very good. Service was fast and waiters were kind. I highly recommend this establishment.

My roommate and I love it here! We’ve realized good service is hard to come by since moving to Norfolk. But while coming to Noodles & Co. we’ve experienced nothing but the best service! Employees are always so friendly and actually take the time to help you pick your perfect order. If you don’t like something they will even fix it, no questions asked. Food is delicious! I love the Indonesian Peanut Sauté and my roommate always goes with the Japanese Pan noodles. Try either if you enjoy a bit of spice. For those who want more-they have a selection of sauces to add to your meal. As a final note– if you take the time to complete the survey they give you after each order, it can earn you a free appetizer on your next visit :)

Have been to several locations, especially when travelling and they are all pretty much the same deal. I always ask for the pesto pasta dish as I find it to be tasty and not too filling — just enough. I do think they are a bit overpriced though. Those rice crispy treats though… huge and delicious!

Here’s the positives: Fast, kind of cheap. Now… I expected a little more, but my Thai noodles literally tasted like the noodle bowls you buy at the grocery store, hard and squeaky. I might be being a little harsh being a Thai and pasta nut but it was bland as well. As far as chains go, its not a bad place to eat, you will always get the same thing, but it’s not the highest quality. No hearty flavor, it seemed relatively healthy at least?

Today was me and my husbands first time at this chain and we were really surprised at how awesome it was. We were instantly greeted by a worker who explained the menu to us and was very friendly. We ordered the Indonesian peanut sauté with shrimp and a caesar salad. He warned us it was spicy which it was, but it was delicious and great quality, especially considering this is more of a fast food type atmosphere. We will definitely be back here. It’s so rare these days to experience great customer service and good food all at once!

food was good! Service even better! I got the large Japanese noodles(Vegetarian) good flavor, for the size I was expecting the large to be larger but it was a great meal and it the spot. It’s authentic and tastes like Japanese Udon noodles indeed. I’ll be back, salads were great and their Honest T is delicious. My friend got the Pad Thai that was huge and had good flavor, she got chicken added as well. For the price, the value is good especially when looking for a quick lunch or dinner place. Friendly, Fast service and they serve beer and wine, For the Win!!!

The food is pretty good but the reason I gave it five stars was for the service. We had an issue with the food not having meat only because there was miscommunication through the app, but after speaking to management they were very very nice about helping us out and taking care of our visit. Very very excellent customer service!

The customer service was superb! Anthony White was very informed about the menu leaving me eager to try something new, the vegan Thai curry. I also ordered Japanese Pan noodles. The dine in plates looked divine however I got my serving to go and when I got home it was very meager and unappealing. I was shocked to say the least. How can it be such a vast difference in appearances. The taste of my soup was rather bland and I never ate the Japanese Pan noodles as they seemed like only 9 or ten noodles and they were dry. I will be back to dine in only and use my coupon for the free appetizer as I also revised them on their website. Don’t get your meal to go if you desire to give them a try. Also their cookies and rice crispy treats look super fresh. Wish I had taken a picture of my food tho.

Very good made to order entrees. Good for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Food to serve hot and portions are large. They make Rice Crispies Treats twice a day. My wife salad and spaghetti and meatballs was excellent. I had the steak stroganoff with extra sauce. It was phenomenal. Servers are very attentive, and there was no wait at the registers. Will most definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Just that A-OK. Good enough when you don’t know what the heck to eat for lunch and you are on a time crunch – so you order ahead. I haven’t had anything really spectacular from this place, yet the food is not nasty by any means. It is filling. I do believe the portion sizes are inconsistent. One day you might get a heaping bowl of noodles and the next visit the noodles barely fill the bowl. Flavor wise I’m not really sure what to say. I think there are inconsistencies with that as well. I’ll state it again the food isn’t nasty, but I’ve had better. It can start to get pricey when you start adding additions to your pasta bowl, like protein or different veggies, etc. The service has been friendly and quick, but I also order ahead so I expect my food to be done when I arrive. There really isn’t much more to comment on. Just know yes I will be back but only when I run into the predicament of either forgetting my lunch at home(like I did today) or just not knowing what the heck to eat for lunch.

Have been there twice, both times was disappointed with flavor and portion size. I would much rather eat at any of the restaurants on that corner, especially Ten Top. Noodles and CO is like the upper echelon of cafeteria food. I rarely write reviews, but it sucks to pay $ 10, eat BS, and still be hungry. I mean… it’s noodles; I should be full. The menu didn’t even have any exciting ideas. Plain food executed poorly for premium prices.

I am in love with this restaurant! The staff are nice, the prices aren’t bad and the food is good and fresh! I always get the Bangkok Curry(love it). I keep telling myself I’m going to try something new, but I’m a creature of habit and when you love something… it’s hard to try something new. I recommend trying Noodles & Company out. You won’t be sorry you did!

Fast, decent pricing, and delicious noodles! Tons of choices no matter what you’re in the mood for. From thai to Mac n cheese! I love that they source locally and use organic and sustainable food operations.

It’s good. It’s ok. It’s noodles. Order ahead there’s an app) and take out to avoid the noise, the crowd, and the wait. The udon is rather thick for my taste, and«make it spicy» apparently has no meaning. Still, there’s endless ways to customize your order and it makes a nice change from the usual pick-up lunch spots. Soups are hit or miss, but the Thai curry is generally good.

Great fresh food and friendly service. What more do you need? I especially like the Japanese Pan Noodles with Steak. Parking can sometimes be a challenge during lunch time, but this is Ghent after all.

Service is very bad for pick up, I waited more than 30 min and no one even acknowledged the wait or apologized! I will not go there again.

After eating here today for the fourth time this month, I am now posting my comments on the additional menu items I have tried since my initial visit and review. PADTHAI – «Rice noodle stir-fry with scrambled egg, carrots, cabbage, sweet chili, citrus, peanuts, Asian sprouts, and cilantro.» I found their rendition of Pad Thai to be bland and uninspiring. It wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t very good. Having enjoyed far better Pad Thai at several other Thai restaurants, I should not have been expecting too much. JAPANESEPANNOODLES — «Caramelized udon noodles in a sweet soy sauce, broccoli, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, Asian sprouts, and cilantro.» Overall, I found this to be one of their better offerings. I ordered their marinated steak slices as an addition to this dish. The taste and texture of the steak slices blended nicely with the noodles and other ingredients. The flavors were pleasant enough, but, I would have preferred a little less«sweet» and a little more«hot.» THAIHOTPOT — «Signature curry broth, sprouts, Fresno peppers, sprouts, shiitake mushrooms, rice noodles, pulled chicken and pork, lime wedge, and cilantro. Served with a side of toasted Asian flatbread.» I found this to be the weakest of the offerings I have tried so far. The curry broth was flavorful enough; however, there were not nearly enough noodles to accommodate the broth. Unlike their other dishes I have tried, the volume of noodles in this one was conspicuously and comparatively small. The Fresno peppers were pale, discolored, and did not impart much flavor. Three lime wedges were dumped into the broth instead of being served on the side. As a result, I bit into a couple of them without looking. I did enjoy the slices of toasted Asian flatbread, which I dipped into the curry broth. POTSTICKERS — Chicken Dumplings. I ordered three of these dumplings as side bites during my third and fourth visits. I enjoyed the flavor and texture of their coverings and the chicken fillings .The dipping sauce which accompanied them was pleasant, but I liked them better with the Sriracha sauce. Overall, the dishes I liked the best during my four visits were the Indonesian Peanut Sauté, the Japanese Pan Noodles, and the Potstickers. Their Indonesian Peanut Sauté was their spiciest dish, but I would have enjoyed it even spicier. I’m glad they keep plenty of Sriracha sauce on hand. The ones I liked the least were the Pad Thai and the Thai Hot Pot. My other non-food related comments still stand. The music is still too loud for my tastes. And I still wish that this business space could have been utilized for a better enhancement of Ghent’s dining scene, perhaps with some sort of European café.
The service I have received has been excellent. The servers I have encountered here have shown a lot of hustle and have been very attentive to their customers’ needs. Today I learned about their no tipping policy. Although there is a sign inside that says it is not necessary to tip, I ignored it during my previous visits and left a tip anyway. Shortly after leaving my tip today, one of their servers chased me down as I was about to walk outside the door and returned my tip money, saying: «We don’t accept tips here. But thanks anyway.» This took me by surprise, as this did not happen during my first three visits. I was tempted to tell him to keep it anyway, until I thought of the possibility that he may be being been watched by his management. I didn’t want to get him in any trouble, so I accepted the tip money back and thanked him. When I came home, I googled this restaurant chain and read about their no tipping policy. Sure enough, their CEO has issued a firm no tipping policy. However, he also said that servers are permitted to keep their tips if their customers insist. I hate to see them working so hard while being discouraged from accepting tips. For my final thought, I will just say that this restaurant is what it is. And for what it is, it’s not bad overall. To give credit where it is due, this restaurant does appear to fill a niche by introducing many diners with perhaps their first time experiences with a wide variety of noodle dishes served worldwide. My three star rating remains intact. Yet, I still say that Ghent deserves better.

A great use of the space. A fun menu begging to be explored. The staff is very friendly. There is an odd coffee bar in the dining room that seems out of place. I think it could have been used for more seating. The bathroom is clean. Great location, I look forward to coming back.

New to the area. Love this place. Asian fusion noodles, soups, salads, & sandwiches. Fresh quality ingredients. Organic &GMO free pasta. Healthy choices. So many varieties to choose from. VERY clean & nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Ghent is also a nice area to walk around afterwords.
