Gardens In A Flowerpot

My daughter was working on her 5^th grade science project and she needed rye grass seeds. We couldn’t find this anywhere but found the seeds at Gardens in a Flowerpot! Not only did we get the seeds, we also got superb customer service and my daughter received except advice on how to get her seeds to germinate and tips for her science project.
Since it was Christmas time, I also picked up so a few really lovely Poinsettia plants. I can’t wait for Spring planting, I’ll definitely be going to Gardens in a Flowerpot!

The people at this place are very knowledgable and always willing to offer good gardening advice about where and when to plant particular species.
However, tonight I tried to find out what their hours are. Could not find any website for this business, nor any posting of their hours (not on their FB page.) When I called their local phone number, it just kept ringing. NO message! I will discuss both matters with them when I visit tomorrow.

Last year, I was new to the area and sought out the big box stores and chain nurseries for my plants, assuming they would be cheaper and healthier than a mom-​and-​pop style nursery. I was WRONG. This place was amazing! The staff care actually cared enough to advise me against several items I had in my cart (due to my planting intentions) despite the fact it would costing them some sales. They took the time to explain proper planting seasons for certain veggies and the light requirements.
Furthermore, my plants from Gardens in a Flowerpot did FAR better than the ones from the big box store as well as the chain garden center. In fact, I had so much produce from their plants I ran out of people to give it away to!
I’m gearing up to replant my garden for this year and will absolutely be buying my plants from them this year– except ALL of my plants this year will come from Garden in a Flowerpot!

This is the best place to buy plants or gardening supplies. All of their plants are healthy and have outlasted ones purchased at big box stores. All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I am so happy that they are still around.

My favorite gardening center by far. I can find everything I want here, usually on a single visit. In addition I have discovered garden plants here that I can’t find anywhere else. The plants are always healthy and definitely affordable. The owners are almost always on site and extremely helpful as well. I’ll come here any day over a big box store, plus I prefer to support local to boot. Come check them out, they have a great selection.

I love this place!!! They are so incredibly knowledgable and more than willing to share their knowledge! I was a gardening first timer last year full of questions and concerns from buying seeds, to what containers to use to when and how to harvest. Any of the people working were always happy to help… even over the phone!
When critters attacked my pots, I quickly went to Gardens in a Flower Pot and asked for advice. They knew just what to do… and it worked!
Customer service is outstanding! and I love celebrating the «mom and pop» business in our community! Definitely stop in and check this gem out!
