So I’ve only done one take out and one delivery but their food is super solid. Coming here from Memphis where there was almost no delivery option this place knocks it out of the Ian. Hot, yes. Fresh, yes. Fast, well not so much. Didn’t matter to me. Get my order right, make it flavorful and on a fan!!!

Though a little rough looking from the outside… this place is the bomb! Everything I’ve gotten here is so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend.

Hands down my favorite delivery Chinese food place! Their food is always super fresh and tasty, portion sizes are big, and prices are super reasonable. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because when calling to order you may get put on hold for a second or it can be very loud in the background and hard to hear. Otherwise the food is the business and as a Chinese food addict, that’s saying something. If you’re looking for cheap, good Chinese food, I highly recommend it.

There’s nothing really wrong with this place so I do recommend it for that midday Chinese food fix. It had a large menu and the food never really disappoints. My husband and I go here a lot since we live down the road and they also have free delivery with a $ 10 purchase.

All I can say is wow. I had given this place 5 stars, it was one of the better take outs in Hampton roads that delivered;the only place I would order from, and needless to say Im extremely disappointed. My family and I got food poisoning today after ordering. So bad that my stomach is swollen, I feel dizzy, vomitting.etc. its horrible. And they have definitely changed the recipe for their General Tsos. Because typically its my favorite thing and today it was hard to swallow. I pnly gave 3 stars because of the egg rolls

Don’t believe these reviews. It’s terrible food. Maybe it was just a bad night. But this was literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. My wife had beef fried rice and hated it. It was literally just yellow colored rice with tough chunks of beef. I got General Tso’s chicken. bland… tough…“leftovers” food that any mom would have just thrown away. The spring rolls tasted fine but were strangely gooey on the inside. The hot and sour soup was a tasteless goo. BEWARE!

I’m going to update my review of this place. After trying many Chinese spots in the 757 I’ve grown to appreciate Wan Shung much more than before. My food from here has always been fresh & hot. I’ve tried other places and was not satisfied, from clumpy brown sauce in my chicken & broccoli to random cold spots in my chicken & broccoli, this has never been an issue here so I will gladly take the trip to norfolk the next time I’m in the mood for Chinese.

Probably some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I got the sweet and sour soup(which was actually full of mushrooms of different kinds, and other veggies, the meat wontons which were crispy and tasty, and the pork and mushrooms with rice. Clean place, quick service, good food. I’m impressed.

Probably my favorite Chinese take out in a long long time! The food is fresh: prepared and cooked under your eyes.

Was my favorite Chinese place until tonight. Every time we call to order they are rude. I could look past that until tonight when we drove to the restaurant to place our order. I’ve got plenty of menus at home– we have ordered from this place almost every week(sometimes multiple days) since October. Tonight I went in, grabbed a menu and proceeded to order. My order totaled $ 20.98 so I asked to use the coupon on the front of the menu. I was told, and I quote ‘you have to bring the menu in, you cannot use on in here’. Completely disgusted and will not order again. Don’t put coupons on your menu if you aren’t going to let customers use them, especially on Christmas!

Generally a good place for takeout. Not extraordinary but having lived here for 2 years, this is my usual go to place. They have great lunch specials but their delivery needs work in the time frame promised on weekend hours.

I was really excited to try the food here because I saw good reviews. So, if it’s on the Internet it must be true right! Wrong! I was so disappointed. The crab Rangoon was really chewy and dry, general Tao chicken didn’t have enough sauce and was okay. Same for the sesame chicken. The egg rolls were acceptable but not really good either. The fried rice was the best part but still had way better. If it’s close and you’re hungry then it gets the job done. However, very mediocre and first and last time I will get food there.

Sweet and sour pork, lo mein, general tso’s chicken all were on point. The pork ried rice was ok, not the best I’ve ever had. For the portions the price was cheap and on top of that I have leftovers. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for cheap yet amazingly good Chinese food. Enjoy and if you are ordering for delivery they have coupons for free side of general Tso’s chicken or pork fried rice if you order more than $ 20. The lady on the phone was kinda short tempered though, so make sure you know exactly what you want and don’t have any questions.

After reading the good reviews we tried a delivery order of lo mein, general Tso’s chicken, hot sour soup, orange beef and pan fried dumplings. I went to bed hungry after throwing away $ 40 worth of disgusting food. The dumpling wrappers were think and gooey. The orange beef and generals chicken were so heavily breaded there was barely any meat inside. The lo mein tasted ok but was very greasy and I don’t know how but the hot sour soup was greasy too?! Typical American Chinese food delivery. Gross.

New to area from up North. The Beau& I ordered vegetables fries rice, dumplings& chicken stir fry. The rice was above mediocre! Dumplings were good. The chicken was meh… Customer service was impatient & short. The delivery man unseen to us, left our food on our neighbors door knob! Great way to meet our neighbors! Doing our delivery for us. Ha! Meh…

Great food and good service. My order took a little longer than I thought it would, but it was well worth the wait. Not to mention they were extremely busy with delivery orders and they only have two cooks. Would recommend on the daily.

Called to order food and have it delivered to my hotel. Employee replied«Sweetheart, do you know how far the hilton is?!» So many things wrong with his statement. It’s unacceptable to be called«sweetheart» while trying to order meals & give an establishment business. Poor customer service and general people skills. Second, a delivery charge would have been sufficient without the demeaning sexist remarks that I wouldn’t expect to receive when ordering take out food.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the highest rated Chinese food place around but left satisfied. The location is small and service is fast but the food is delicious. They lose one star for the lack of cleaning and small seating. The sanitation is questionable at best, but I can overlook it for the flavor. I ordered the chicken chow mien quart for about $ 7.50 with the crazy taxes and devoured every bite faster than a monk after a year long fast. The food even smells good when they cook it. The orange chicken my fiend ordered did look much better though. The seating area is small, there are about two cooks and a small lady that takes your order. It’s really nice having an Asian person cook your Asian food, it just seems more ‘authentic’ than some white guy. Trusting people cook your food is like trusting people with your kids, the first impression matters.
