Uno Pizzeria & Grill

Every time I order food for pickup they mess it up. I ordered a ½ turkey sandwich and salad. I specifically asked for only turkey bacon and tomato on my sandwich and it came with everything on it. Funny thing is my directions were on the receipt. I’m done with you Uno. I can go to Double Edge and Laloconda and get a way better meal that is CORRECT!!!

My friends and I tried Uno Pizzeria Grill two weeks ago and we loved the food and the service. I don’t like pizza if it’s not thin crust meat lovers from Pizza Hut so I was reluctant about trying Uno’s pizzas. In spite of that, I ordered a Windy City Works Chicago thin crust pizza and it was good. Today, I ordered the same thing online and I did not check what was in the box until I got home. Surprise surprise !! When I opened the box at home, the pizza I got looked nothing like the one I had ordered in the restaurant even though I had ordered the same thing. This pizza’s crust was as fat as the lady who sings in an opera !!! Moreover, it was as soggy and nasty looking as a teabag. I called the restaurant but the person who answered said that I got what I ordered despite detailed the description I gave him about the nasty fat looking sorry excuse for a pizza I got. He offered to switch my order for a lesser priced (no refund of the difference in price) flat bread. Since his tone was condescending and even aggressive, I decided to just waste my money and chunk the nasty pizza they sold me. Needless to say I won’t be coming back to this place!

Love this place, wanted to go for years wherever I drove by other locations, but thought of it as basic franchise… To my surprise the food, service and atmosphere are FANTASTIC… Only problem is this I have to be careful not to go to often

The deep dish pizza doesn’t come close to the amazing sensations my favorites from Chi-​town offer up… but it’s still darn good. Plus the menu is varied and there’s plenty of health information available.
I tend to prefer local, family-​owned restaurants, but this is not a bad option for a chain restaurant.

I’ve been to Chicago many times and Uno’s is still my favorite deep dish pizza spot. It’s the crust — all buttery and just so bad but good for you! I love that they have the Sam Smith Strawberry beer. The service is always very good. Between the hostesses, servers and managers checking on you to make sure everything is good — I can’t complain! Also love the events they host — Easter/​Valentines for the kids.

The perfect place to go on your lunch break. They guarantee that your food won’t take longer than 10 minutes after you place your order. They have great lunch specials to choose from at a reasonable price point. Soup & Salad for $ 6.99. Soup or Salad and a choice of a few options for $ 7.99 or $ 8.99. They also have a 2 for $ 12 meal choice as well. I chose a Caesar Salad and some Cheeseburger Sliders for $ 7.99. The salad was obivously fresh as the lettuce was nice and crisp. The dressing was tasty as well. The 2 Cheeseburger sliders were cooked just I requested. My friend had a Chicken Caesar Salad and the Cheese Ravioli. She was happy and satisfied with her meal as well. All of the options on the menu looked great. The restaurant looked on the newer side and was kept reasonably clean. I will definitely return the next time I work out in Newtown Square!!!

We had a reservation at bone fish and we couldn’t even get an estimated time for when they could seat us. Decided to try Uno and had an awesome dinner. We split a Caesar salad and the waiter split it for us. I got the house beer, which was a delicious IPA. The price to upgrade to a 20oz beer was too good to pass up. Our waiter, I forget his name, was super nice and attentive. Even the host was very welcoming and polite. This was a huge difference from bone fish. We got the classic deep dish pizza with sausage and tomatos, it was perfect and delicious. I even had pizza left over and just one slice was perfect for lunch the next day. I will definitely return!

Uno Chicago Grill has restored my waning faith in restaurants. We ordered soft pretzel sticks and a large deep dish Numero Uno. It was delicious! My only complaint would be the size of the pizza, about a 12″ pie for $ 20+. We didn’t leave hungry, just no leftovers.
Drew was our server and we could not have asked for a nicer, young man. He was very attentive and efficient.
I looked very hard to find some dust or grime in this place… nothing. Even the backs of the televisions are clean.
We went at noon on Sunday, so we had no crowds to contend with. I can imagine it would be very busy when good games are on.

Stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. Alex the bartender was the highlight. Great service. Great customer focused attention. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Got the Two for U lunch for $ 8.99. Picked a salad and a personal pizza. The salad was a wilted over dressed disaster. The lettuce was not edible. The chicken was good but the honey mustard was MIA. The pepperoni deep dish pizza reminded me why I hate deep dish pizzas generally and this chain version specifically Tasted mass produced with no soul — not piping hot, clumps of tomatoe, non descript sauce, warm cheese and some pepperoni. If I’m killing myself eating this food according to recent studies I sure don’t want to eat this crap on the highway to hell. Had a great beer — Firestone Pilsner. One star. Only because there is no option for zero

Chain restaurant food but with a great bar and excellent service, come to this Uno’s for the atmosphere and half-​price gameday appetizers.
Yeah, it’s like all other Uno’s when it comes to food quality — good, not great, with dishes containing approximately 4000 calories. But hey, it’s not a health food restaurant, and you should be coming here if you live nearby and want a nice place to watch the game. This Uno’s shines in the bar area, with several large televisions and its above average service. Major props to our server Chrissy, who was attentive and efficient, with a really easy going affable demeanor. If you’re eating here be sure to ask for her.
Overall, the food is two-​in-​a-​half stars, four stars for the atmosphere, and five stars for Chrissy.

The deep dish pizza is my wife’s favorite favorite in town, and reminds me of college days in chicago, though I still have a special pedestal set in my heart for Gino’s East. Tonight at unos Newtown square, the wait was an hour, and there was a big crowd of people near the door so maneuvering was difficult, but once seated, the experience was good. I was not a fan of the appetizer — a mushroom Flatbread type of thing, but the walnut salad was par for the course, and pizza was excellent as usual.

Better than average chain at least this location is and managers and wait staff on top of their game… never disappointed in fish Salad or sandwich choices. Not crazy for their pizza but once you know menu they do not disappoint … Great local choice! I never give a chain 5 stars but they are so accommodating and consistent I can’t rate less. Great job Newton Square uno!!!

Incredibly mediocre.
I have never been an Uno fan — but recent visits (dragged there by my chain-​loving in-​laws) were surprisingly good, at the Warrington, PA location.
Today’s early lunch with a co-​worker was a last minute decisions and the place was nearly empty when we arrived at 11:40 AM. Even still service was painfully slow.
We both ordered off the «super fast» (10 minutes or less) lunch menu and both ordered nearly the same thing — salads with 2 sliders. After about 13 minutes we got fidgety, and finally EVERYTHING came out at once.
Salad was on rusty lettuce (I opted for the Garden Salad as I feared the Caesar would be only romaine and croutons) with ONE tomato wedge and ONE Slice of cucumber. Oy.
Sliders were OK but VERY salty (due to the cheddar cheese).
Would NOT order this $ 7.99 deal ever again.
Server admitted to us she was exhausted from the night before.
Sorry, UNO, today’s lunch was a fail.

Okay this place wasn’t my first choice initiat but jeff (the light of my life the fire of my loins my soul my flame) my husband, wanted to come. Our waitress was kendra and she had this weird hipster wanna be type vibe going on. It was kind of off putting but whatever. The food was amazing the bar was spectacular and besides the tacky waitresses the place is awesome

It’s my top place to go for a quick nice and delicious meal. Service, food and price is perfect! You never will be dissatisfied! Or they will take care of that immediately! Great place for family, friends, couple or even alone!

Boring with a lack of customer service…
I’ve been here once before a few years ago so I knew not to expect anything special. I was right. The young wait staff made me feel like they wanted to go home. They made me feel that if I ordered too much, I was holding them up. Nice…
I started with an eggplant flatbread. It was pretty tasty. I was disappointed that I didn’t have a plate to put my slice on. Why didn’t I get a plate with my meal?
I then ordered the basic chicken Alfredo, which is pretty hard to mess up. I asked if they could make it with their spicy Alfredo sauce. The waitress said they could and would take care of it for me. The dish came out, and it was the plain Alfredo sauce. I asked the waitress if she had them put the spicy sauce on and she said yes. Clearly she was lying or being lied to.
Not impressed. Won’t be back. Nothing else to say about this place. It’s not worth my time writing this review.

I have only eaten at the bar but the bartenders were great and food was good. I would return for sure. Decent amount of parking also.

Went here on a Saturday night while visiting the area. Went in and was very crowded. Got a reservation and was told that our table would be ready in about 25 minutes. About 20 minutes later we were called. The burger I had was wonderful and perfectly done to my request. However, the citrus salad, which we expected to have mandarins, was not very citrusy but still good. The atmosphere was loud, but what do you want for a sports bar. The server was wonderful and got our food to us quickly. Overall, it was a great place! I would go again!

This was the second time that we experienced a very long wait to receive our order. Tough pill to swallow with a 4 and 19 month old at the table. Hopefully just a bad draw on our part and not a continued trend.
The Make Your Own Pizza was a hit with the 4 year old. The staff was friendly and the food was fair.
If your a craft beer fan, the selection here is great. Passing by the bar area, I noticed it was packed.

This is definitely the place to check-​out if you’re gluten-​free, especially if you’re new to the whole GF lifestyle. They take is pretty serious here.
They will allow you to sub gluten-​free pizza on their lunch specials. So for about $ 8, I got a chicken caesar salad (no croutons) and a GF cheese pizza.
The pizza was not terrible. I wanted pizza and it did the trick.
The service was pretty good, too. The server was very friendly and personable. She paid attention without hovering. Gave us refills without us having to ask.
