I stood there looking at products for ten minutes or more while four workers stood two feet from me and nobody offered to help me. I finally asked for help and one of the young workers did assist me and was very helpful. The three older workers discussed loudly how a woman who did something bad while driving (like nobody has done that) made them wish they owned a gun. Also the same product I purchased is $ 5 cheaper at Home Depot. I typically want to help the smaller shops but I get better customer service at Home Depot.

Attitude is everything. Every time I visit this store I sense that I am the idiot and they are the intellectuals.
If you have low self esteem about a weekend project your starting go to another store to ask a question because if you ask a question there you will probably slit your wrist when you get home. The look alone will have you sneaking out of there and you will feel inadequate for days!
If you really want to feel attitude, just try to return something.

I have used this store numerous times. They have most of what the average homeowner needs. i do a lot of woodworking and they have a lot of hardware items in stock. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend them as a first stop before going to a big box store.

This hardware store may not be as big as Home Depot or Lowe’s, but it stocks enough items to be useful and convenient when a quick trip to the store is needed to attain a missing part or tool in the middle of a home project. Plus, they are always very helpful. Just ask, and they’ll point you to exact aisle location of the item you’re looking for. Just the other day, I was able to buy some plumber’s putty in order to replace a broken garbage disposer that evening. This is exactly what a local hardware store is all about!

This is a very small hardware store and doesn’t have everything. It’s located in the Newtown Square shopping center and kind of hidden I feel. But it’s there and has helped me a few times when Home Depot seemed a bit far and out of the way. I needed to find a pump with a gauge to work on my car and Pepboys didn’t have what I was looking for. On my way home, I stopped by this hardware as a last resort! And lo and behold, this little hardware store had what I was looking for. Yes this hardware store is small and doesn’t feel like a hardware store (probably because it is carpeted). But they have enough to help most household needs. I hope this place can remain open.
