Massage Envy Spa

First time at a Massage Envy, wondered how good a chain massage could be. Have my answer. Very dissatisfied with the massage in general and the fact that I got there on time for my 11am, completed paperwork by 11:04 and was brought in at 11:13. At 11:54 my one hour massage was over! I was not impressed with the person who did my massage at all. She didn’t even look at my paperwork or ask any questions about history or comments on questionnaire. I had written that I bruise very easily, but had also requested deep tissue massage. I couldn’t believe how much she hurt me! I had to say something at least 4 times that she was hurting me. Quite frankly I was more tense and aggravated then I was when I went in.
When I said to the receptionist that it wasn’t an hour massage, she said oh I was going to talk to you about that when you got done. She was running behind from her last appt. So you can have the member price next time you come in and an added service like a foot scrub.
Guess what? I won’t be back. That is unscrupulous business practice to short me 25 minutes, use my entire gift card for a 35 minute massage ($ 50) and then offer me BS services next time!
Would never recommend them to anyone and will be sending an email to the owner of that franchise.

Had another massage with Mindy and she is terrific.
I love her — and hope she’ll stick around for a while.
Billie Jo — the WONDERFUL esthetician and Celeste (Front Office) are great, too.

I am very pleased with my Massage envy membership — but I do wish and hope that they can keep the «good» therapists longer. They work very hard.

The last 2 massages I had scheduled were cancelled. There is absolutely no customer service. I would not waste my time or money on this.

Was very dissatisfied. I’ve had multiple massages for less money and better quality. I asked 3 times during the massage if he could use more pressure and, while there were brief moments he complied, most of the time it just felt like he was rubbing my back and poking me. Had higher expectations. Really wanted someone to help work out the knots in my shoulders but was left disappointed and annoyed I spent the money.

Really? 50% cancellation policy, even doctors don’t take 50%, get real people:(. They won’t give you same day appointment even if available, just to show the place being busy. Really?

I had a facial and a massage today for the first time ever. I had a good experience here. Everyone was friendly. My massage therapist was renee and she did a wonderful job! Billie Jo did my facial and she was also great. Was very informative. I felt like they did everything in my best interest. I would recommmend this place :)
