Food was mediocre, I ordered the typical spaghetti and was left waiting for breadsticks. Our server kept promising that they were coming out soon and I would notice other tables getting breadsticks and finally when I was finished eating my meal the breadsticks came out and they were dry. Everyone knows breadsticks is a vital part of the Olive Garden experience. Additionally, upon request of the check we were offered mints with our check, We gladly accepted as it would serve as a redemption to the disappointment that just happened and we didn’t even get the mints.

I got the Ravioli Alfredo Lasagna for dinner, and it was delicious. The food here is great, the service wonderful. The prices are affordable. Our server was on top of her game, very friendly, and courteous.

After not eating at Olive Garden for almost 4 years, me and my family were pleasantly surprised to some good changes. The prices were very reasonable, and the food we ordered was good. The interior has been renovated, and the staff was very courteous. We well return

The food is average at best, I have given this place one too many tries and will not be returning. Our garlic bread was very bland and stale. The salad was fresh, same olé same olé. The dinner was OK, I had the tour of Italy and my husband had the chicken marsala. Again the food was bland, the portions small at best and my lobster ravioli had to lobster in the pasta. The chicken was tasteless, the pasta nothing special. The waitress seemed overwhelmed, and scarce.

Beware when you don’t look at the bill. Got charge for things I didn’t have. Over charge for food I did get. Don’t think I’ll be going back

This Olive Garden location should not even get one star. On Sunday, April 3, my family went to eat lunch at this location. We have had good experiences in the past. We came in as a party of ten people. We called ahead at 11:00 for a 12:15 reservation. First off, we were seated right in the middle of the restaurant, right when you walk into the dining area. We were seated next to the sever station and had people crowding our table the entire time we were there. It was awful being in the middle of the walkway. While taking our lunch order, we had to tell our server that he had skipped one of the people in our party. Another guest at our table was wanting to have a salad with her entrée, and the server explained to her that it will be four dollars to get a salad plate.(Even though we have four unlimited salad bowls on our table.) She was very upset, to say the least. The manager, Alberto, came over to the table to talk to her about her experience so far. As he was talking to her, he was leaning up against the wall, with his foot on the wall, and his arms crossed. He did not smile once, the whole time we were there — not to our table or to any other table, that I saw. While he was talking to her, he told her over and over that the Olive Garden policy is that if you want the salad plate, you have to pay four dollars. There is no exception. He was of no help, and he made the situation much worse. He showed his true colors, when he showed his lack of customer service skills. We were talking about the experience we were having, and another server heard our conversation. He stopped by our table and asked if there is anything he can do. He was very courteous and nice, and acted like he genuinely cared. His name was Charles. He checked on the problems we were having, etc., and came back to our table periodically just to see if he could help in any way. Charles deserves a promotion, to take Alberto’s job. Alberto needs to get out of the hospitality industry, and find something that does not require customer service skills. Truly. While our salad plates and soups are being set down, I get my salad starter plate and my entrée of soup all out at once. I asked for the soup to be brought back for my entrée, but the server set both down in front of me anyways. So, my soup got cold while I ate my salad. I did not even want the cold soup anymore. We had ordered our salads as only one bowl with onions, and no onions in the others. The salads come all with onions. Someone at our table asked for lemons. A server brought USEDLEMONS to our table. It looked like they had gotten the lemons from another table, and just sat them in the middle of our table. Someone had squeezed half of the lemons already. It was absolutely gross. I have never seen a server do this in an establishment before. My husband did not order salad, but he got a salad plate, while my aunt who is at the other end of the table did not get anything. It does not make sense for one person to be treated to a salad plate, free of charge, and the servers and manager being rude to another person at the table just for asking. These policies are ridiculous, and the manager is absolutely rude. So, entrees come out to the table. Servers begin auctioning our food, because they obviously do not read the ticket from the kitchen.(Except for mine, because it was already on the table.) We should have taken a picture of my husband’s plate. The plating was disgusting. He ordered a sirloin at a medium temperature,(the most expensive thing on the menu). It looked like the cook the WELL done steak off of the grill, and smacked it on the plate so the oil and juices were everywhere. Parts of the plate were black with the juices. He had to send it back. The next sirloin that came to the table, was UNDERCOOKED, at medium rare. The plating looked better, and he was hungry so he decided to just dig in. Once he cut into the steak, blood ran all over his plate, into his mashed potatoes, etc. This is not appetizing when you ordered a medium steak. The kitchen should of let the steak«rest» for a minute, so the juices do not flow out. He sent it back, and just asked for a soup instead. The manager came over and handed him a gift card of $ 18.99. Another person at our table ordered a kids meal, and received the adult portion,(which we clarified during our server taking our order.) We were all completely fed up with being at Olive Garden. My grandma asked for the check and ordered dessert for us to share. The check was dropped 5 mintues later, and dessert was still not there. Alberto came to run her credit card to pay. He dropped the check back off, watched her sign the bill, and said, «Can I have my pen back now?» Really!!! This all is happening while we see 2 servers talking about our table in the server area. This whole experience was crazy, and we will never be back. Alberto ruined our experience. The kitchen needs work. The servers need to be trained better. PLEASEGETALBERTOOUT!

When you walk in, there is an offensive smell at the entry. It reminded me of why I said the last time I came here would be my last time to come here. But you tricked me with a «please come in» email. Service is really not great. And no matter what you ask, just know, the answer is no. No you can’t use the coupon no it does not apply to kids meals even if the small print does not say that anywhere. Do yourself a favor, stick to Carraba’s the service and food and atmosphere are way above anything at this place. Even the breadsticks pale in comparison to the fresh hot bread and olive oil at Carraba’s.

My husband and I eat at Olive Garden a lot, and this was THEBEST. The outside and inside décor are adorable and way more updated then any we have been in. It was a Friday night when we were here and it was super busy. Still the waitstaff and greeter were so nice and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Food was normal Olive Garden quality but the people made all the difference. :)

I came here for my step sons birthday we sat down and took a while to be greeted. We all began to orders he looks at my daughter and says is she under 12 ?? Yes why. Okay she says making sure … I then get to special needs son that has a stomach issue. I say to her he is 13 and can only eat a little portion. She said well he can’t order from kids menu. Okay she just was very rude and judgemental it wasn’t I was cheap… It is that he has a problem. Last time I looked as customers you pay their salary a little more common sense would be nice. We will spend our money somewhere else next time. Food wasn’t that great thanks Olive Garden for the wonderful night

Everything was so bland and cheap ingredients. We came in around 1pm on a Saturday. This is my first time eating here since moving from CT. The Chianti was terrible and the chicken parmasean was slightly burnt. The salad had one peppercini, two tomatoes, and three black olives, also the iceberd lettuce was still in large chunks. Overall, worst food I’ve ever not complained about. They still get a two star cause the waitstaff was great.

I came in around 330 pm for an early happy hour. No one was around to greet and I wasn’t sure if they were open so I asked the nearest employee. I proceeded to use the restroom and my feet were sticking to the floor! Finally, I sat at the bar and waited about 5 minutes to be served. The good news is that the bartender was very polite and efficient. I would come back but hope I don’t need to use the restroom next time.

Oh my gosh I have come here with my mum who is 82 years old. She says she won’t come back every time but someone ends up giving her a gift certificate. Salad comes to us wilted and overly vinegary. We send it back and after a very long wait we get a plain salad and no dressing. Finally get dressing and my chicken sorrento is not cooked all the way and the veggies are drenched in the citrus sauce from the chicken. I tell the waitress and she sends the manager over who says that’s the way it’s served ?? Excuse me see pic of menu that says the chicken is in a citrus glaze(NOT veggies) and veggies are SLIGHTLYSEASONED!!! He tells me to order something else by the time it gets there my mom is done eating and instead of adjusting my tab or charging me for the lesser meal, THEY charge me MORE. Crazy. No do not come here hop across the street to get your money’s worth and better service.

You got that right! I just popped off a five star for a chain restaurant that I have had a history of issues with in Virginia Beach. I have a great history with this particular location over the past couple of years, but never wrote up a review. On a recent swim meet weekend where we stayed up in Newport News we took in Olive Garden after a Prelim swim session. Posted hours on Saturday were 11AM to open and I was in the lot at 10:45. However, they opened up 5 minutes early which was greatly appreciated with a starving boy that needed to get rest before finals. The hostess greeted us warmly. We were seated promptly, Our waitress was immediately at the table and understood expectations were that we needed to get order in and move out quickly. Drinks were on the table in minutes, orders taken at that time and our server was proving that she was amazing at this stage, but could she keep it up? Within in five minutes salad, soup and hot bread sticks were delivered to the table. The salad did not have the dressing mixed in and had packets for me to mix in as the kitchen just opened and she knew I was in a hurry. I thought this was smart of her. The dining room was spotless and looked attractive. Two aspects that were cool, the fireplace and loft which I took pics of. All the tables were set up with silverware and glasses. I was impressed so far. Entrees were out within fifteen minutes, possibly less. I had the lunch lasagna and my son had the cheese ravioli with the dumpling soup. Every step of the way the waitress was conscious of our time constraints and kept things moving. Our meals were served hot, delicious and were were both very satisfied. Our awesome waitress checked in and got drink refills and of course a bread refill. During the visit the manager stopped in to check on us which is why I bumped up to a five. You don’t always find that a manager comes to your tables at fine dining establishments, so props. At the end of the visit before departing the lavatory was utilized which was super clean. Plenty of soap and towels and again impressed. When you have a flawless visit at any restaurant and it is elevated in some way you reward. I see no reason why this location is not deserving of a full 5 star review. I only which this restaurant was in Virginia Beach.

Well, went here twice in a span of 3 weeks. The food isn’t anything spectacular. Just normal Olive Garden food. They do have chicken meatballs, and also sausage meatballs now though. Along with their normal ones. But the highlight of each visit was the service. The manager came over both times to check on us, they offered free samples of wines and even gave us an appetizer that’s not on the menu because something was wrong with our previous one. Next time I have an Olive Garden craving I will definitely be back to this location because of the service!

Some friends and I went in last night around 6 pm. No wait, seated right away. The server took a bit of time getting to us, but once he did, service was ok. The soup and breadsticks were dynamite and my friends enjoyed their salad. I had basic spaghetti with meatballs and my friends had chicken carbonara and chicken alfredo… all were good. The table sitting behind us handed us a buy one entrée get one half off coupon… it was such a nice gesture! All in all, a good time was had by all!

I want to give this place a good review because i love OG, + my last experience at this very location was fantastic.(although i forgot my review, and the name of my server :(). however, this time it sucked. 1– My buddy got the 5 cheese penne. After we ordered, i noticed OG was running a deal for buy one, take the other home. Her penne was on that list. Our server, Cory, did not tell us. He seemed more preoccupied flirting with the girls on another table. 2– We ordered our alfredo boat as an appy. We waited… and waited… finally caught a hold of him, 2 min before our entrees came out. Apparently he FORGOT. I was super pissed. Our alfredo boat is the only reason we come to OG. 3– He never refilled our water. He never came around to checking up on us. 4– We barely were able to get a hold of him. Never refilled my soda, nor did he refil our breadsticks, or salad. The food was usual olive garden and we were satisfied with the timing our entrée took. But overall, i believe a restaurant’s experience can be enhanced ten fold by the attitude and attentiveness of the server, unfortunately, we were unhappy with Cory as our server. …And i guess until we get plastic surgeries to look hotter so he can pay more attention to us, we will stay away from Cory’s table and find someone more accepting.
