Good stuff! Small, plain, simple place. But nice people and WONDERFUL glazed donuts! My family and I have been going there for years(25+ years). FIVESTARS!

This small donut shop never fails! All of their donuts are delicious. And, today I tried their CRONUT for the first time and it was AMAZING! I had the cinnamon sprinkled Cronut since it has less sugar.

Very nice and friendly service. Much better than Yum Yum in many ways. 1) the husband and wife who own it are super nice and friendly. 2) Their doughnuts taste like real fresh doughnuts. Not the crappy ones with the cheap ingredients at Yum Yum. 3). The place is clean! This place is as good as Honey Doughnuts over on Railroad Ave.

No other donut out there tastes like S&S! And that’s including Dunkin Donuts. A Dunkin Donuts opened not too long ago in Santa Clarita and they are no where near as good as these! It’s family owned and operated, which is another thing that I truly appreciate! The raspberry jelly donuts are my favorite

We got here after 8am so most of the donuts were gone. Even my favorite donut holes were empty. So basically, I have nothing to write about. Got a choco muffin which was just ok.

I’ve been getting donuts here since I was 4 or 5 years old with my mom and it’s still our favorite place to go! The owners are the nicest and the donuts are the absolute best

after going to the location on McBean and being completely disappointed the dumpiness of the place, and the absence of donuts available, we left and headed to this location. I still wasn’t totally impressed with the atmosphere here, but they had donuts in stock, and the lady working the counter was very nice. We left with a good supply of donuts, and the last cronut. The donuts are good, but this doesn’t compare to a place like Randy’s near the airport. Santa Clarita is woefully lacking in the donut department and there is a ready market here for someone willing to put some effort into it.

My favorite donut shop! I don’t come in very often, but when I do the service is great and the donuts… oh the donuts. My favorite is the Apple Fritter, so when I go, I get tunnel vision and just zone in on those… so I can’t say too much about the selection lol. The lady is super sweet and even gave me some little free extra donut holes when I went.

I’ve been coming here since I was 5 years old. They have the best donuts! The owner and his wife are super sweet people. I give them 4 stars because they run out of chocolate chips muffins too fast.

First time venturing for donuts in the SCV, and this place made me quiiiite the happy girl! Small little shop with a few tables, drink fridge, some knick-knacks on shelves, and of course, the donut racks. Open later than most places which is nice– their selection was pretty cleaned out at 7 pm! Warm and friendly service from the woman running the counter, got 8 assorted donuts for just short of $ 9 and she threw in an extra one :) In short, very friendly service and delicious donuts. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was madly craving donuts and this was the closest place with decent ratings. I came here around 9am on a Sunday. The service was simple as donut service should be. I asked for half a dozen and assumed there’d be a fixed price for it, but I should’ve asked about it first because I got charged for each donut instead so my total was about $ 7-$ 8 for 6 donuts(including 1 cronut). I would be okay with that price if the donuts were great, but they weren’t that great unfortunately. Some were too moist and soggy and overall tasted like there was more sugar than anything. Was it enough to satisfy my cravings? Yes and no, because now I want to eat real donuts.

Far superior to that awful Yum Yum shop down the street– we were warmly greeted as we came in, they waited patiently while we picked out the delicious donuts we wanted. Great selection, excellent service, good coffee and, most important, fresh donuts!

After the cashier at Ralph’s told us to not buy their donuts there any more because they are always day old and not made in house, we are on a search for a Sunday morning donut place for our family with 3 kids. First, I was beyond disappointed to hear that they don’t make egg rolls anymore. But for the donuts, they were good. Croissant: delicious, flakey, and huge. Boston cream: good, but nothing outstanding. Apple fritter: in the words of my 10 year old«amazing!» Maple bar: «really good»

Nothing to rave over. While I love donuts I find these to be extremely ordinary and not worth going out of my way for.

The guy complaining about lousy donuts is a moron: he also thinks Kate Upton is fat. Ignore him. THEIRCAKESARETHEBESTKEPTSECRET!!! MOISTANDYUMMY. ORDERONETODAY. EATIT. TELLYOURFRIENDS. You’re not going to see them on some silly reality TV cake competition, but if you care how your cake TASTES, you should get it at S&S. S&S is simply great and great in its simplicity. It is what it is, nothing more, and what it is is really really good. No trendy«Kupcake Kreations by Kati», no coffee baristas(oh, please). DONUTS. and COFFEE. And great CROISSANTS. And pretty good muffins, and I hear great eggrolls, too(haven’t tried them). The owners are adorable and the hardest working people I know. Genuine, earnest. (Oh, Dan H? Did it occur to you that these folks might be shy? I’m an atheist and sort of anti-religious, but these people like me and I like them. They don’t hate you because you’re not Christian, they hate you because you’re a putz. But, as you said, you’re used to that. Hell, I hate you already.)

This is a donut place, but I see a lot of reviews for just eggrolls. I don’t know if the eggrolls are good or not, but their donuts are a totally different story. Here goes… We decided to get a couple of donuts from this place. Customer Service The older guy wasn’t friendly, but wasn’t mean or rude. Donuts These are the worst donuts I have ever tried. I am specifically speaking of the chocolate-covered old-fashioned donut. Always get the chocolate-covered old-fashioned donut from any donut place and this one beats any other place at being the worst. I am not kidding! It tasted as if it was at least 2 days old. It was so thick and dense. Why would they even put these old donuts out on the shelf?!? If they are not a couple of days old donuts, this place did an excellent job of making crappy donuts. Maple-glazed donuts were not as thick, but still heavier than other donut places and maple on top was overly sweet. There are two S&S donut places in this area, and I am afraid to try the other place. What if they make the donuts the same way?!? Definitely not going back there again.

Are you kiddin’ me? I have been looking for a real egg roll(not the crappy spring rolls that are oh so popular out here in figure friendly LA) ever since i moved here from Chicago some 20+ years ago… and i find it in a donut shop? Who’d a thunk it? I came here a couple weeks before Christmas about 10:45am after reading the review from Derek T(thanks Derek!!) and thought i’d snag me an eggroll… but they were already out of them. OK, bummer… but i understand. It’s a bakery and they make things fresh. I need to get here earlier. Unfortunately, i live in Canyon Country and i work super early hours… so i guess i’ll have to try again when i have reason to be here. Fast forward 2 weeks… it’s the Friday before Christmas and my work is having a holiday party. They don’t serve food ’til sometime around 10AM, but the kids and i need a little nosh to hold us over. S&S Donuts here we come. I snagged 2 eggrolls that the lady behind the counter heated up for me, my daughter a chocolate bar, my son a sugar sprinkled twist. All i can say is OMFG! I bit into one eggroll and i was instantly transported to Wayne Moy’s chinese food on 63rd street in Chicago Ridge. It was so good. I let my daughter have a bite and she was also impressed. So much so, she begged me for the other half of the eggroll since i had to drive and couldn’t continue eating it. Begrudgingly, i let her finish it. When i finally arrived at work, i scarffed down the other one… and i’m telling you… these are to die for! Totally awesome. Next time, i will buy all the ones in the case! The donuts were also great… atleast that’s what my kids said. «this is my favorite donut place» is the exact quote from my son. It was a little pricey, but i never mind paying for quality… and you’ll find it here.

Is a donut shop really about customer service? I never thought about it until reading these reviews. My usual experience goes a little something like this: Employee:(one or more of the following: greeting/look/smile/gesture) Me: Hi. I’d like a [whatever]. Employee:(gets it, gives it to me, names price). Me:(handing over money, taking bag). Thanks! En fin. I mean there are no overzealous greetings when I walk in, but I don’t like those. And sometimes they don’t say anything at all, but they look at you and get the tissue ready to get the donut! As for niceties, I know if I had to get up at some ridiculous hour to make donuts, my already-lacking people skills would nosedive. It does seem to be the only place in town that consistently has apple fritters on Sunday mornings. And I will drive across town to get one. I will say that there is a horrible rotten milk smell in the parking lot of this strip mall. My advice is to park close, hold your breath and make a run for the shop. And eggrolls? Hmmm… I’ll have to remember that :)
