Dori’s Italian

My husband and I were really excited to try this place because it’s right around the corner from our house. It’s BYOB, which is always good and the prices are reasonable… Ranging from 18 – 26 dollars. The atmosphere was not our style (at all). Had an old feel to it and not appealing. Staff was extremely friendly tho.
We weren’t impressed with the menu, but we found a couple of things we would try.
The complimentary bread was nothing special… The butter was seasoned and tasty. For our entrée, I ordered the Chicken Giovanni and hubby got the Chicken Parm. Both came with a choice of soup or salad. We chose to go with the salad. It was ok… I thought they put too much oil in it… The entrées were both pretty blah. We were pretty disappointed.
Overall, the best thing we had there was the wine… Which we brought from home.

John and Dolores are back with Dori’s Italian as of November 2015. They are byob and open 4pm Wednesday through Sunday. Early bird specials coming soon Wednesday and Sundays. They are accepting gift certificates from the prior restaurant location.
We dined here opening night and food and service was spot on. It is great to have them back cooking good food and making everyone feel like family.
