Went to dinner tonight looking for a Prime Rib dinner and it was delicious! Could only eat half it was so big. The waitress was also friendly and prompt. I’ll be back again, Iwant to try the take-out pizza next.

I attended a private party here this weekend. Filets and crabs and spaghetti for 30 people was executed well. Wait staff and owner were efficient and friendly to ensure everyone was taken care of.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The service is bad and the food is worse!

I got in a last minute order for delivery minutes before they were closing. Friendly, fast service. Pizzas were good too!

I hate to sound cliché but if I could give the food negative stars I would. I’ve had better Italian food from a can. The sauce tasted like Tomatoe purée with absolutely no seasoning. The meatballs were as if someone rolled Hamburg straight out of the package, no flavor, gray and tastless. My wife had the Alfredo which was worse, cream with uncooked flour. My son had basicly raw gnocchi with the same tastless sauce. Please don’t waste your time.

I’ve been here a couple of times now with my family. Most recently I came with my husband and father for lunch. To start the service was great. I don’t remember our servers name, but she was cordial and always made sure our drinks were full. The food however left a lot to be desired. I started with a French onion soup. The cheese was melted on top, but not browned. The soup was overall okay, but a little bland. Missing something, maybe a bay leaf or thyme? In lieu of bread, they used croutons. Not a big deal, but some were soft, and some were hard. Biting into the hard ones was always a surprise, and then disappointment. Also, the onions were over an inch wide! Boo. For my main dish, I ordered the cavatelli and broccoli. The broccoli was quite overlooked. In fact, it looked more grey than green. The whole meal was essentially us just poking at our food, and talking about the show Kitchen Nightmares. Get the idea? Incidentally, the pizza we ordered to go was the only edible thing.

The appetizer plate had everything just thrown on the plate. The sauces came in little plastic to go cups that are so small you can even dip stuff. The Soup cup was served in a espresso cup and that’s about $ 3.00 for it. Our main course was terrible and crap. I only give it a single star because I don’t want you to think it was left out. Very very bad!!! Don’t even bother. Better Italian food can be found at McDonalds.

I don’t know too much about their pizzas or take out foods, but I know that their red sauce in an insult to their Italian ancestors. It was acidic and quickly thrown together. Everything else about the place, the service and ambience, was great. So if you have no taste buds, but you really enjoy a restaurant with great service and ambience, you’ll love Marciano’s.

My review stands on the quality of their pizza. Their sit-down menu, maybe not so much. We had this chicken pot pie that really was a flop — if we weren’t in a total rush to get someplace(with older family members in tow, no less) — I probably would have sent my dish back… and I never do that. Honest. Their desserts are hit-or-miss, but when they hit, they are phenomenal.

Many years ago I was introduced to Marciano’s(then Luighi’s) via a student of mine; he gave me a gift certificate and a menu. Wanting to use the gift all at once, I looked for a gourmet pizza and settled on the chicken barbecue, which is a style I had never had previously. When I called, they questioned me noting I was calling from Millville, which would not be local. I informed them I would drive over. It was a drive I would begin making frequently. All the way home the smell of the pizza filled the car. I was in heaven. I was most impressed with the flavor of the pizza. And with all the toppings, the crust held up well with my dough test. After meeting my wife, we began dining at the converted Wawa convenience store, often on the chicken barbecue. She liked the Tiramisu, so was agreeable to dining here. We eventually began branching out trying other dishes. Most filled out bellies well. Eventually the restaurant was re-designed. No longer was the dingy restaurant a reminder of a sub shop; a few years ago the renovations were completed. Now Marciano’s, there are two dining rooms, a banquet room, and a separate pizzeria and take-out joint. The décor was stepped up and the experience of dining there has generally improved. Our latest dining experience was not quite as wonderful as other times. We were seated near the kitchen, despite the few diners. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. Admittedly, our children were not at the level of behavior I expect when out. Nothing too bad, but a little loud and Fritz tossed everything on the floor. :(We usually are better than this. Anyhow, our food began coming out. I noted there was no bread basket. That was disappointing. The house salad was a disappointment. Most of the lettuce was the hard crunchy white part of the lettuce. Yuck! The Italian dressing had no taste. We’ll return to Marciano’s, but with a not as great experience as we usually have, I will not be itching to return. Perhaps it is time to order another pizza.

I LOVE this place. They have tortellini alfredo that is to DIE for. I’ve also had plenty of other delicious meals there, it’s just that when I go, I’m always tempted to get the tortellini alfredo because their sauce is divine. Their staff is usually on the ball, very nice. The owner is usually there, and she sometimes stops by and checks on you and may have a little chat. Nice classy place for a quiet date night or night out with friends.
