I live in the area. Place was renovated maybe 2 yrs ago. Place is clean, staff friendly and attentive, good, solid food, big portions and reasonably priced. It is not food that you will dream of but satisfying and definitely worth going to if you’re in the area. I give them a 3.5.

I’ve eaten here loads of times and the food is always very solid. Recently, I had there Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak which was seriously on point. It had my favorite type of Buffalo sauce; not too spicy, very creamy, awesome flavor. Their breakfast is also always good. If you’re in the area, there ain’t much other places to eat, so Pegasus should easily be your go to.

I have been here many times throughout the years, before and after the renovations. The prices were always on the high side. The Pegasus always had older clients, which is the main reason I stopped going, were made it depressing like a retirement home. The staff pretty much leaves you alone, if you need anything during your meal your s.o.l. You can put a turd in a fancy box, but it’s still a turd. That’s exactly what Pegasus is. Malaga diner is cheaper, better food, better service, and all together better.

My favorite restaurant! I rate 5* & would go 6* if permitted. It isn’t fancy but friendly, great food, staff, always offer specials. Try it! It’s very busy so, suggest going a bit off peak dinner hour or you’ll have short wait.

This place has THE most dank cheese steak I have ever tasted. If you’re in the area you have to 100% go here and try their food

As a local I have been coming to Pegasus since I was a little kid. My grandparents, my parents, as well as aunts and uncles, have all been regulars here for a very long time. The place has been recently renovated. That being said. this is «1 step up» from a diner. I have never had a problem with the food though. Breakfasts are awesome here, gyros are good, pizzas/wings are good, burgers are good, salads, etc. Whenever I am under the weather I come to the take out window located on the side of the building and get pints of the New England CLAMCHOWDER. This stuff is amazing and I’ve been hooked on their chowder since I was a kid. Is it 5-star dining? No. But it’s clean, nicely decorated, not loud, good portions, good food and friendly staff.

Not a bad place to eat. Great size portions. No issues with the service. From what I remember– the food was pretty delicious as well.

They changed up their menu when they fixed up the restaurant I believe. I was a but disappointed in a few changes, including the French fries. I know, it sounds funny, but they were originally very good. Now they’re just decent. As for deserts though, they’re great.

It’s Easter and everyone here is wearing their Sunday best. The service was quick and everyone wore a smile. The deserts look really good although I didn’t have any. The food was excellent. The portions were huge and the flavors were great. Thank you to Kristen, our waitress.

What I enjoy while dining at The Pegasus Restaurant is a warm, friendly feeling when I enter in. Whatever meal that I have had enjoyed there, has been tops. For the quality of food it is priced reasonably. The service has always been very good. If you are near this establishment, stop in and enjoy it.

I used to dine here often during my 20’s with no complaints for the breakfast and lunch service. After having moved away for 10 years, I decided to try out my old haunt. The service itself was still quite good, attentive and friendly as I remembered. However the food quality suffered greatly on this visit. Knowing this place is Greek owned, I thought i couldn’t go wrong with a chicken souvlaki which i’ve ordered long ago along with a recommendation of the Italian wedding soup. My soup at first was promising, steaming hot. However the meatballs tasted funky and rancid. The broth was over powering salty, more like a Campbell’s condensed soup can where someone forgot to add the can of water. The chicken souvlaki was straight unseasoned chicken, very little or no seasoning whatsever. It was as if the chef just chunked up some chicken and quickly did a stir-fry and laid it into the pita. Very bland.

We went for lunch and had soup, a gourmet seafood salad, and a California burger. The soup, which was luke warm, tasted like Campbell’s right out of the can. The seafood salad had three shrimp that were steamed not grilled as stated on the menu, some artificial crab meat and a lot of bitter lettuce. The burger was obviously a frozen patty that was buried in a roll that was way too big for it, and on the whole, very bland. The prices were a little on the high side for what it was. All the patrons were very old and the ambiance was one of a retirement home, and that was while sitting in «the bar». The silverware and plates weren’t the cleanest either.

This restaurant has a pretty hard to pass bargain for lunch. Last week I bought a sandwich and fried mac and cheese bites. The meatball parm was really good and the mac and cheese bites were excellent. What I didn’t realize last week until after I placed my order was that they had a lunch buffet inside for less than what I bought. So I came back this week for lunch. Sausage scallopine, roasted turkey, herbed chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, mac and cheese bites, soup, salad, and desserts. The buffet menu changes every day. It’s not a hundred items like most buffets. But what they do serve is all pretty good.

Very good-for a diner. Waitress was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I wish they had more Greek specialties on the menu as Greek restaurants are getting scarce. My omelette with Feta and spinach was top-notch. Trendy Yuppies will have their sensibilities upset-stay away. Vegans and gluten-psycho’s: beware of large servings of tasty meats and starches!

It is what is it — one step up from a diner. We were there on Mother’s day so I can’t judge the service on one of their busiest days of the year. As busy as they were it was pretty good and I’m sure much better during normal times. The food is just OK. My Eggs Benedict were good and properly prepared but I’m guessing the sauce was a pre-mix. Everyone’s breakfast was good. I’ve eaten lunch and dinner here over the years and find it quite average.

Outstanding Greek diner! The place was spotless. Excellent service. HUGE menu, even for lunch. My husband and I started out with appetizers, I had clams casino and he had the spanakopita. His order was big enough for the meal itself! Crisp fillo, ample filling, served with additional feta cheese on the side, fresh tomatoes and olives. Outstanding! THIS is the dish that Greek diners are judged by! My clams were delicious. Our lunch order was an eggplant grinder, which we split. It was huge! Served with a pickle, coleslaw and incredible waffle fries. It was delicious. Deciding that this was going to be our one meal for the day, we ordered dessert. I had strawberry cake and he had baklava. Both were outstanding! This is NOT a place to dine if you are on a diet! But splurge anyway, you won’t regret it! The waitress was very pleasant, also. Will definately stop by again when we are in the area!

Very disappointed. Have gone to and ordered from occasionally over the years. Food quality has been OK. Take out is made easy with a drive thru window. However the prices have gone way up while the quanity has gone way down. Ordered 2 gniocchi take out dinners, includes soup & roll for over $ 25.00. The gniocci did not even cover or make one layer on the bottom of the metal take out dish. Half the amount of soup they used to have. Soup is in the smallest container possiblel. The little bit of soup was mainly broth that appears to be thickened. This is a meatless and should be relatively inexpensive meal. Between this and recently being charged too much to substitue a baked potato for fries — never again.

When I first moved to this area I used to dine at Pegasus II, which was in Vineland. I always liked that restaurant, but sadly, it went out of business several years ago. Later when I met my wife, she introduced me to the original Pegasus. It was every bit as good as II. Greek-owned, there are plenty of Greek specialties on the menu. The list of daily specials is two pages. There is a lot of seafood. A few years ago I discovered their stromboli. It is hard for me to pass them up when I dine there. There are three dining areas: the diner part, the dining room, and the greenhouse. The greenhouse is typically used for larger parties and families. Service is usually nothing spectacular. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is clean. One will experience a wait at peek times(Friday and Saturday evenings).

I’ve always liked the Pegasus. When I was in high school, the Pegasus was a regular haunt for my mother and I. Unfortunately, it’s quite a long drive from where I live now, so I rarely go. The Pegasus has three dining rooms. The first is very diner-esque, but the other two are regular dining rooms of which the last is the most attractive. The menu is an assortment of American, Italian and Greek-American food. I have always loved their chicken dishes because they’re saucy and moist, which is my preference. As the previous reviewer mentioned, the menu is daunting because there’s SO many choices. Although the food isn’t knock your socks off, despite their massive menu, everything is well prepared. It’s a good place for families because everyone will find something that appeals. The Pegasus certainly isn’t a restaurant I would encourage out-of-towners to seek out, but for those of us that live in the area, it’s a reliable standby for decent food.
