It was mine and my husband’s first time visiting here and I was super excited! First off, the space is really nice and welcoming, lots of seating. We went up to the almost empty bar and waited for the bartender to come over. And waited. And waited. When she finally came over, she was less than friendly and when we asked about where to order food, she looked at us like we were a little slow. Frankly, the beer was very good(blueberry mint was awesome), but we were so put off by the bartender, we left after one beer and went somewhere else. Hopefully, it was just an off day…

This brewery is what’s up!!! Normally I don’t trek out to Newburgh for its ‘scare factor’ but I’m happy I went along with friends the night they chose to check it out. The space they utilized was once an old warehouse or factory(not sure of its origin but I do want to find out) and its friggin gorgeous!!! The space is ample and its so relaxing, unlike many other brew houses I’ve visited. Not only that but the beers are wayyy more affordable and the food is the almighty of delicious AND not overpriced!!! Thank you NBCo! Some other breweries really need to take a lesson from here: cough, Peekskill brewery, ehem: Between our group of a dozen or so, we tried the rosemary garlic fries [HOLYHELL I WANTMORE! RIGHTNOW!!] the regular fries, white bean dip, chicken ‘wings’, Bavarian pretzel, chips n salsa and a veggie quesadilla type thing. Food didn’t break the bank and I was so happy I didn’t feel like I was going broke ordering 3 diff things to share. The beers are a whole other story of awesome. My favorite was the Cross-pollination. so good! oh and they also have a huge cabinet of games to play including ones from the 90’s. THEYHAVEMALLMADDNESS!!! This is what I think of when I hear ‘brewery.‘ Beer, food, ambiance and people perfection. All brewery’s should strive for what Newburgh has.

Awesome place especially midweek. Ambiance is great, beer is great, and food is really really good. Limited menu but insanely good. I got the fish tacos for $ 11 and it was so unique and delicios. Just down right good, fun, and yummy. What else can you ask for? Go!

The food and beer at Newburgh Brewing were great, but the highlight of the brewery is the beautiful interior design. The second floor bar looks like a fancy barn, with high ceilings and wood rafters. There are long, communal, biergarten-like tables and even enough space for foosball and cornhole. Great example of a craft brewery doing some urban pioneering in a long neglected city. If I lived in Newburgh I’d be here every weekend.

This was an awesome find after spending the day at Storm King. When we arrived it looked like a warehouse and weren’t sure if it was open. However, it was a hidden gem, We really enjoyed trying some of their beers I really liked the honey beer. They have beautiful views over the Hudson river and a large selection of board games, we were loving playing Pictionary while enjoying our pints. The only downsides were it was freezing inside but it’s such a giant warehouse I guess it’s hard to keep warm and oddly, they were playing the news on a giant projector in the middle of the bar.

Love their beer but this space might be even better. Big, plenty of seating, and incredible view of the Hudson River. Bartenders always friendly. Good food to boot. Visiting is always a pleasure to see all the interesting beers they have on tap in addition to my old favorites: the cream ale and the brown ale.

This brewery is a perfect place to hang out with a large group of friends. Good beer, huge beer hall tables, board games, corn hole, and a giant projection screen are all contained in this large rustic warehouse. The food is pricey but good quality. I liked the tortilla chicken and the pretzel. Most of their beers cater to bitter tastes with a lot of hops. In fact all of the beers that were on tap had moderate to heavy amounts of hops. When I asked if they had anything with a mild amount of hops or a lager the bartender asked if I wanted to try a water. Haha ok… So I guess there’s no style of brewing other than the vogue maximum hops.

Place was so cool to hang out in, beers were delicious. Great entertainment there, beer glasses were on small sizes but heck for 5 bucks wasn’t to bad I guess, food menus was kind of boring and little pricey so just had the soft pretzel

Set in a old interesting brick factory. The building faces the Hudson River and has beautiful views. They carry a large selection of craft beers on tap. They also have food. The atmosphere is laid back with large tables, games to play and great beer. Food is interesting with ramen noodles offered as a entrée. Grilled sandwiches with fries are the standard fare. They have an area to play Cornhole but it was so popular we never got near it. We played a board game at the table. Great place.

Congrats on the GABF medal! The Café Gose was amazeeeee ballz. So was the India Cream Ale! The space is absolutely beautiful. I was kicking major a$$ on Foosball and that bean bag game thing. Word of advise: Dont get the pretzel… not worth it.

This is a cool brewery to check out if you’ve never been there before. The beer is tasty and it really doesn’t get much better than $ 5 each. I love that it’s a wide open loft-type space that has a great view from the top floor. The vibe here was less like a brewery, and more like an indoor picnic. They have large diagonal picnic tables, games, and a pretty decent looking menu for a brewery. I also noticed that it seemed more like a family crowd here. The only downside here is it appears to get super packed! I did come here on a Saturday, but it was during what should have been a slow time in between lunch and dinner. It took about 10 minutes just to get two beers and we weren’t able to find seats at all… we had to stand by the windows. I wish they would utilize their space a little better so they could add more seating. This brewery is definitely worth checking out but I recommend coming early to get a table if you’re coming with a group!

After a histology exam what is there better to do than to forget your perils for the rest of the day and have a nice beer. The beers here are excellent. Please do come here if you have a chance, to try some craft brews. I’m from California, and everyday I get a little more homesick. I did enjoy all the craft beers from North Coast Brewing, Russian River, Stone, and 21st Amendment. This place brings back some good memories. Try the Newburgh Conspiracy, nice rich dark Russian Imperial Stout. Not as hoppy as Old Rasputin, but quite good. Drink some good beer, watch sports on the projector, order some food, play some games(they should get Cards Against Humanity), and pee in the trough urinal! Great Place!

I consider myself a regular here. Great beers, good food, live music, TRIVIA!!! This place is very laid back. Much more my pace than going to Billy Joe’s. This place tends to be bro free most of the time. Great staff!

I have been here a few times and always love the food and drink as well as the atmosphere here. This is a great place to go and grab a beer while playing Jenga with your friends at one of the large tables they have for games. I have yet to see any of the live bands but they really look like they fit in with the atmosphere and would be a great way to spend a Saturday night. I highly recommend this place for large groups of folks looking to chill out after a day of exploring the Hudson Valley.

Great hang out spot hidden away in Newburgh! I enjoyed the atmosphere, view of the Hudson, old brick walls, wood floors, large tables, cornhole and other games, even live entertainment and swing dancing somtimes! As for the food and drinks — perfect! I had the wings, she had the bacon onion grilled cheese. Both fingerlickin’. The in house brewed beer was great, you can sample before you buy, the Café Sour was a treat! Its an ethiopian coffee dark beer a little sour served in a warm glass. Loved it!

Went tonight for the first time. Had the fish tacos, great slaw and sauce. My wife had the grill cheese and bacon sandwich, it came with rosemary fries. The friea were a little to salty for me. The menu is limited, but going off the selections we made I’m sure the rest of the menu is worth it. I had the cream ale, very smooth and balanced beer. Great space with views of the Hudson. Would definitely go back. Seating is german style, meaning long tables with a variety of guests. Great atmosphere for large groups.

If you’re in the area, stopping here will be the best decision you make all day. The beer is phenomenal; about twelve different options on tap ensure there is something for everybody. NBC is a young company with a passion for making great beer and an amazing pedigree to back it up*. The food is exceptional. I shared the artisanal grilled cheese(Local Goat Cheddar, Multi-Grain Bread, Carmelized Onions, & Dijon Mustard;) and rosemary & garlic fries and I have been thinking about this grilled cheese sandwich ever since. It may have been the best grilled cheese I’ve had. Ever. If you can get a brewery tour you’re in for a real treat, but even if you miss out on the tour, the tap room has all you could ever want: –Board games — Ping Pong table and Corn Hole(I’d never seen this game before) — Great décor with some one of a kind salvaged/restored pieces harking back to the good old factory days. — Million dollar views of the Valley and the Hudson River. * The Brewmaster was at Brooklyn Brewery before leaving to open up his own shop at Newberg Brewing Company.
