Massage of Trinity/Lotus YOGA

I always have a pleasant experience when I go. It’s become a regular spot for me and my wife. They tend to get booked fairly quickly so you always want to make an appointment 1 – 2 days in advance if possible. They’ve worked me in before when it’s been last minute but it’s always better not to feel rushed.

I made an appointment for a Bhakti massage. Their website explained it this way: Bhakti Massage is a holistic, spiritual, intuitive, relaxing, and soothing massage. When I arrived, Rene said she would be doing the massage, took me in the room and plopped her butt on the massage table and announced «Well, I’m so excited. This is going to be a first! I’ve always wanted to do a Bhakti Massage and now I’m getting my chance! They told me I’d do just fine — I went on line and looked it up. I can do this!» As unbelievable as it sounds, that’s exactly what she said. To Massage of Trinity, let me just say … If your therapist have NEVER done a particular modality of massage, DON“T SCHEDULE THEM to do their FIRST with a PAYING CUSTOMER. Period. I was so pissed that NO massage would have alleviated my frustration and anger. I left feeling no better than when I walked in. To her credit, my exasperated «just great» comment and my scathing look, tipped Rene off that I was NOT HAPPY and she got someone else to do my massage. I requested a Bhakti massage when I made the appointment. If there was not an a therapist available who was experienced in that modality, they should have told me THEN. The woman who did my massage said she had done many Bhakti massages. So, I ask … why did they pawn me off on a novice if there was an experienced therapist available? Bad business tactics! I will never go back there.

I have had several massages at MOT and they were excellant. Cenia has helped me lower my blood sugar and my back problems. I was in bad shape on my first visit but I feel so much better. Thank n you all for your wonderful work.

I just finished with my 3^rd facial at Massage of Trinity with Kathy. I noticed a difference in my skin after my first facial with Kathy. She recommended a peel for my second facial and it did wonders for my skin. I noticed a reduction in fine lines and overall evening of my skin. I now get compliments all the time that my skin looks like it’s glowing. I am very happy with Massage of Trinity, especially with Kathy and the how she has helped my skin. A wonderful experience. Massage of Trinity has excellent, professional massage therapists. I am a regular and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I was in the area as I was visiting a friend in February 2013. Last minute, I called around and was able to book a massage here at Trinity. Price was reasonable, only slightly higher than the national massage chain. It is located in a medium shopping center. Parking was easy. I filled out the initial paperwork.
This place has a nice ambience. I got a massage from the owner, Ceci. It was just want I needed. She was pleasant to talk to about the area.
FYI, she uses a special table that adjusts for height, not the standard wood table and instead of bolster she uses a triangular foam wedge.
When/​if I am in the area, I would use them again.
FYI, I have had over 80 massages with at least 20 different therapists.

I’ve visited this place twice and tried two different therapists. The massages were… meh.
Cenia gave me a deep tissue the first time I came and while she had decent pressure, she was kinda chatty.
I just left a massage with Donna and she gave hardly any pressure at all. I wanted attention given to my lower back and neck. She effectively slathered me in lotion but never stopped to work out my problem areas. At one point she asked if we were doing a deep tissue to which I replied yes. I thought at that she’d go deeper but that never happened. She spent the last 10 – 15 minutes gently caressing my face and slapping my feet around.
I’m still giving 2 stars because even a mediocre massage is better than no massage at all.
