This was my first time here and the food was fabulous! I ordered the Zen Forrest spring rolls, Fried Rice with chicken and Sesame Chicken. Everything was fresh and extremely flavorful. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I loved the lemon mustard sauce for the spring rolls. And the Sesame Chicken was prepared different from the breaded deep fried you get elsewhere. The sauce on it was amazing.

Hands down the best restaurant in Tampabay. We’ve been going here for over 10 years and it’s wonderful every time! The owner/​chef is one of the few originals that is a true artist and passionate about his food. One of favorite servers is Kat and she takes amazing care of us. I love pairing my food with the different wines and bubbles they have. The best food and presentation ever! The Cubano rolls and spicy avocado tuna tartare is my favorite and the chocolate mousse melts in your mouth! In one word… yummy!!!

Zen Forrest is my all-​time favorite lunch spot! I love meeting friends there, and always have to bring my son when he comes to town. Everything they serve is fresh and healthy and full of delicious flavor. One of the servers, Dora, is amazing! She remembers favorites, knows what they drink, and sincerely cares. She can serve many people quickly and efficiently, always with a smile.
My favorite? Stir-​fry coconut zing with Jasmine rice and unsweet iced tea. YUM!

The food has always been tasty and delightful, the service has been slow in my opinion, and it has been the same every time I have been there, so I get into the I want to go because I like the food, BUT I am going to have to wait ages for it, I want to give 5*stars to this great restaurant but until the service speeds up and my glass never runs empty or I wait for a sever for 20 – 25 mins to serve me my appetizer I just can’t.

Appetizers of spring rolls were great. Dinner of general tso’s tofu was amazing, cooked perfectly and accompanied by fresh delicious veggie. Peach and white iced tea was also great. A perfect meal, i was too full for dessert.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is so delicious. I had the minced chicken and leek wontons, which I never would have thought could be paired with a beurre blanc sauce, but it was so good!!! I also tried the bokkum bap — if you’re a fan of Korean flavors this is your dish. The dessert was incredible too. I have only good things to say about this place!

Zen Forest is definitely a must if you are in New Port Richey. The atmosphere is so nice and the staff is always pleasant. When you go make sure to try the ahi tuna tartar, the house salad (you can buy their dressing to take home!) and the orange chicken. Their desserts always change, if you are there when they have their Pistachio cheese cake you have to try it! I’ve been dreaming of it for months!

I kept hearing great things about this place so my wife and I were eager to try it out. Unfortunately we were extremely dissapointed. The thing is that I was expecting to eat Asian food. For some reason the food did not taste Asian at all. The appetizers were delicious pot stickers as well as the cuban spring rolls were both great. But the main course sucked. The bul go gai and the pad Thai were both bland and unsavory. We simply could not eat it. We told the waitress and the manager was kind enough to comp us the entire meal. Unfortunately that will not make me go back. Sorry no way.

It’s with a heavy heart I must say I came here with grand expectations only to be supremely disappointed. The smooth jazz music in the background, attentive wait staff & awesome appetizers set you up with huge expectations for the main course. Unfortunately I cannot say the Shrimp Pad Thai was good or marginal. It was abysmally off. A basic dish like this I would have expected to be pulled off with grace.

Recently had ‘mi’ a Banh Mi sandwich, which I would eat happily even had it fallen to the floor.
Sort of a hidden gem on the beaten path. Seemingly great care and attention given to using fresh ingredients. Nothing is cliché, here. Seems the chef’s standards and influence have really taken hold, even down to the smaller things, such as a perfect glass of jasmine ice tea.
Service was excellent.
I will return again.

Amazing. Never encountered a place quite like this. Very friendly environment. Great food. Service constantly check up on us, even the chef came around and remembered what we had ordered and ask us how everything was! Everything made in house the way it should for a restaurant like this.

I’ve been eating here since they opened… very elegant yet quaint dining… amazing food. The general tso is my favorite. Dining there is always enjoyable, but don’t be afraid to get take out, always fresh and they use quality «to go» containers.
If you like duck, (I’m not a fan) a few times a year Vic prepares the best I’ve ever had. It’s a real nice event as a 5 course presentation — trust me, give it a try!
If you enjoy tasty, health conscious dining — you gotta go here.
Tip: they have a lunch menu with smaller portions and some include the zen forest rolls. This is a way to sample the dishes at roughly half price.

I had the shrimp stir fry with the zen coconut sauce, and fried rice. I ate every drop. It was delicious. My daughter ordered general tso’s chicken, and I tried it and it was very very good, way better then your typical Chinese takee outee.
Would definitely recommend it for lunch, and a great quiet place for a romantic dinner. If u haven’t tried it yet, do it!

Went for Fathers Day. Best choice ever made. I had the pu pu platter with a real hibachi. This was a one time special and you will not find this one the menu. I was lucky enough to be on their mailing list. Received the email a few weeks back and planed my vacation around this supper special.

I have eaten there before and liked it except for this time. Sorry to say the food was awful! The Crab Rangoon was overdone. The shrimp lomein was overcooked and heavy on the sauce. I don’t think I’ll go back for a long while.

My wife and I had dinner there for the second time and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious although we both thought the house dressing a bit strong. The service was excellent with our server anticipating our needs. As for quantity, neither of us were able to finish and the leftovers made a tasty dinner the next night
I notice only a couple of negative reviews. Perhaps they would be happier at a Chinese buffet.
