To justify the 5 stars, it’s important to be clear about what this place is and what it isn’t:
It is:
–an amazing place for a huge selection of beer — much of it local
–a great intimate music venue
–DOG FRIENDLY!
It isn’t:
–a place for food, they don’t have a kitchen.
–a good place for claustrophobics
–a good place to have a deep discussion, much too loud for that.
I love the beer and I love that I can bring my dog. :)

Other favorable reviews have pretty much said it already, but this place rocks! Just moved to the area and was looking for my go-​to spot to drink brews on the weekend. This will definitely be it. Great atmosphere, great crowd, and an all around great experience.

Oasis pub is a great local bar. Definitely recommend going there
Tap selection– they have a great selection of craft beers that are always changing, and they have great pricing deals on them on Mondays.
Customer service– the bartenders are quick, friendly and knowledgeable. They really make you feel at home when you’re there
Cleanliness– the bar is over all very clean.
Parking is usually pretty available.

Reasonably priced drinks, great beer selection with lots of micro brews and unique choices. They often have local bands playing and good entertainment as well as plenty of theme parties. The bartenders and management rock, the patrons are great. Very small, intimate, and fun. Definite hipster vibe. Always featuring local artists work on their walls (and selling it!).
Fun place for a low key, great time. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area.

If you want a dive bar with a great selection of beer, congrats you have found it. There are 20 taps here and are rotated regularly. There is also a fridge with abut 20 different craft bottles. This was a locals place a few years ago, but the hipster crowd has hit it hard. There is free pool table and music on occasion. Get in with the bar tenders here and they will treat you right. Monday is a great; almost all taps a $ 2 from 7 – 8 and $ 3 from 8 – 9. There is no food served here, but there is also no problem with bringing outside food in.

Still the best & now even better!
The Oasis has stepped up their game in the craft beer department. They have an awesome selection on tap & bottles. Great breweries like Founders, Blue Point & Allagash. If you’re looking for something other than the usual crap (they have that too) then check them out.
They still get great up & coming indie bands so check out their Facebook for upcoming events. It’s always a good time to go whether it’s busy or not.
Did I mention that they renovated the bathroom? And what else can I say about local icon Sean Murray?

The Oasis is my favorite spot in New London. Tiny venue for great live music, an eclectic crowd, tons of beers on tap, and plenty of people willing to do a shot or two.
