If this is the best food in the entire train station, then I feel for you New Haven. This ranks as the second worst pizza I ever had in my life(to find out what’s first, feel free to explore my reviews). Zero flavor in the crust, zero flavor in the sauce and zero flavor in the cheese. I gotta admit, it’s my fault for eating here. I knew it was gonna suck, but for some reason the high ratings suckered me into a stupid decision. If you could avoid eating here, do it. If you don’t care what food tastes like, then by all means stuff your face with the flavorless food here. Well, there was one overpowering flavor, it was pretty nasty. That is all.

Decent pizza and pasta for the train, or for that late arrival home if you live in New Haven. I like that you can watch the chef in action cooking your pie. And don’t hesitate to go beyond pizza if you eat here. If the Chef is to be believed, Italian construction workers from throughout the region stampede here in hordes for the stromboli.

On a layover from Penn Station to Hartford in November 2011, I bit into my pizza and was slapped in the face with a very, VERY sharp, vile taste — looked down and realized it was little black feces of god knows what. Despite the magnitude of the situation I was 17 at the time and too shy to say anything, so here it is! STAYFAR, FARAWAY.

Best place to eat in Union Station, hands down. They even have at least 10 different beer types(none of which are really writing home about) and 2 types of wine(both are Sutter Home and your options are red or white). Food options include pizza, baked ziti drowned in melted mozzarella, chicken, mozzarella & pepperoni rolls, garlic rolls, chicken, broccoli & mozzarella rolls and several types of stuffed pan pizza and regular pan pizza slices. It’s crappy food, but they’re the only eatery in this terminal that has seating and if you have to kill time before your train comes then Sbarro’s is your best bet.

«Hey, Paz(my nickname)! Whuzzgoodwitit?» said my buddy Rusty. And so an evening of big ‘za, cold suds, and intense viewing of sports on Sbarro’s 26″ TV began. I’ve gone to sports bars before, and I generally have a good time. I mean, the constants are usually beer and BUFFALOWINGS. So do I fit in? Heck yeah, I do — I’m a guy, and guys like these things. So we get to Sbarro, and Rusty and I exchange high fives — Coors Light on draught? IT’S ON. We decide to pair our nectars with a couple of sausage calzones. The calzones were expertly built — flaky dough, ooeygooey cheese, and then BOOM, sausage. This was good, but it was time for more beer and sports. There were at least 6 people already catching the Connecticut Sun game, so it wasn’t easy to find seats. But we did and we had like 4 beers each, called a cab, and then we went home to dream about doing it all again. Top 5 night of 2012.

There New Haven C. t Franchise that is located inside 50 Unions Station is terrible food unless its made fresh out the oven, i recommend you Do not attempt to eat there. I have witnessed on several occasions how they treat there staff its just plain disrespectful they are terrible, unprofessional & very rude! Only The workers that serve are very polite, though i would not eat there ever again. FYI if you eat there you will see the Indian men Do not wear any gloves when handling your food ewww!

This Sbarro is lucky it’s the only decent food option besides Subway in the whole Union Station. If you’re a vegetarian like me and don’t want to pay $ 5 for a veggie sub or bagel, this is where you end up. The food isn’t bad, it’s just average. They heat up the pizza pretty quickly but I honestly wouldn’t get anything else here, it’s expensive as it is.

If you’re waiting for a train or bus it is the only place to sit and eat inside Union Station. Also has beer and wine. Otherwise it’s up to par chain with good food.

A very nice little pizza place for the hungry traveler, I would say that the best thing about this little Sbarro is that they serve beer at reasonable prices. the have Bass on tap! Plus on top of that all the usual Sbarro stuff. Very friendly staff, and located downstairs just as you are coming or going to the train. highly recommended!
