Thank you Belk for keeping me on track for losing weight. Belk Department store in New Braunfels has the ugliest and cheapest looking women’s plus size department. The brands are much better in the regular sizes. I give four stars for the cosmetics dept. They aren’t always well stocked and are slow to restock. The employees in this dept try their best.
I will stick to doing my clothes shopping at Dillard’s and Nordstrom.

Walked around the shoe department for 30 minutes. Could never get help… One girl actually walked by me 3 times and then would walk off. Store is really dirty and unorganized. They have nice stuff but if I can’t actually try anything on I’m not going to buy it.
We were here in the summer for my boyfriend to buy shoes and it was same story.

I have visited this place twice and found both shopping experiences very pleasant. My 14 year old was looking for a dress for a dance and there were so many to choose from with great prices! It reminds me of a smaller Dillard’s. They seem to cater to the women/​girls more. Couldn’t find much for my 10 year old son. Deals were found everywhere especially in the shoe dept. The big sale racks were unkempt and I did wait a little longer than expected at the register when the store didn’t seem to be busy.

This place always has sales going on but the merchandise is already reasonably priced.
This is a large store and it is always kept clean. The only thing I wish they carried on top of all the high end name brands they already stock would be Lacoste. I love Lacoste and I would spend more money here which I guess is a good thing that they don’t. So for now, Polo it is.

Belk department store is comparable to a Macys but on a smaller scale. All the usually departments, no furniture though. But that’s ok, because Belk does what it knows best. Offer fashionable clothing at good prices. The curvy diva section (Plus size) has a nice selection. Fine jewelry, baby dept etc. if you live in New braunfels you know what a pain it is to drive to San Antonio or San Marcos outlet mall to fine nice clothes. Belk is a progress to getting fashion to New Braunfels
