This used to be an awesome little grocery store before it changed ownership a few years ago. Now it is an odd combination of liquor shop and convenience store, not even a sad echo of what it used to be. Don’t get me wrong, the people who work here have always been very nice and polite to me. But with the change in business also has brought a change in clientele, as there often seems to be a mixed lot of riff-raff hanging out in front of this store, some of them brave enough to ask for your spare change so they can go in and buy their next bottle. The owners are oddly focused on the amount of time people leave cars parked in their parking lot(understandably) but yet seem to do nothing to discourage the panhandling druggies that park their butts outside the store for hours on end. On top of that there is always an odd smell in this place that never seems to go away. On the plus side this shop has a pretty vast selection of beers to choose from, I have been impressed to find brands here that I can’t find elsewhere. But if you want anything other than alcohol or convenience-store-fodder, you’d be wise to save your time and look elsewhere.
