Kendall’s Appliances

Sadly they don’t work on front loaders but they answered question fast, and were super sweet. Guess I need to buy a top loader?

While I did not use Kendall Appliance Repair Service, the person who answered the phone kindly explained that Kendall did not repair GE products. He was so courteous, did not interrupt my questions, and made time to answer my questions that I feel he deserves a shout out, especially compared to a previous phone call to another company who plainly did not enjoy their job or want my business. I will certainly call upon Kendall for other than GE repair needs!

OH MY!!! A perfect example of how well Unilocal can work! Our near-​ancient Speed Queen dryer started making some horrendous noises, and not using the dryer is pretty much an emergency here. Found David Kendall on Unilocal,and in virtually no time at all he was here and fixed it in a heartbeat. Totally reasonable about cost, but the best is that he is as nice a person as you’ll ever meet … what might have been a very unhappy experience turned out to be a delight! Just wish we had something else he could fix, but his specialty is laundry machines … could not recommend more highly!

I used David years ago to purchase a used washer & dryer, I stopped by his shop one day & told him about a problem I was having & he was able to tell me how to fix it & gave me a used part to help me out. Very knowledgable of his trade & reasonably priced.

First, the address on here is incorrect. They no longer have a physical address. I found this out the hard way, lol. Once I figured that detail out, every other part of my experience was awesome.
Mr. Kendall is very easy going and knowledgable. He told me upfront what the two possibilities were with my broken dryer and the price of each option. He came within the timeframe he promised, fixed it at the price he quoted, and was done in like 20 minutes. He even fixed my broom, lol.
I highly recommend.

Mr. Kendall is a life saver! My washing machine broke down on laundry day and I didn’t know what to do! I called Kendall’s on a Saturday morning, and hoped he could fix it sometime soon because the underwear supply was at an all-​time low. He did one better! He came out same-​day, on a Saturday and fixed my machine within fifteen minutes. He was extremely nice and the price was completely fair. If anything ever breaks again in my house, he is definitely the first person I would call.

My dryer decided to shut down on me over the weekend… Being a DIY’er I wanted to fix it myself. I called an electrician and a firefighter just hoping someone could give me some piece to my puzzle. I then saw a review from a close friend and decided to give Kendall’s a call. Mr. Kendall was very helpful and knowledgeable. After a brief discription of the problem he knew just what it was. I called him sometime after 10am and he scheduled me for 1pm SAME DAY! Mr. Kendall was professional and very courteous … He didn’t even mind me sitting there watching and asking questions. He showed me exactly what was wrong and explained what caused the problem. He was fast and the price was right. I got a few cards and I will call upon Kendall’s Appliance Repair again… Just hopefully not too soon! Lol

Mr. Kendall just left my home, having removed the plastic OxiClean top that I let fall in the lint filter compartment. He is personable, and efficient. Last year he also serviced my washer and dryer. I found the services prices reasonable and he was able to come the day I called.

I wasn’t home when he came to my house to repair my dryer, but my wife said that he was awesome and had our dryer going in no time. I just moved into a new home and I know who I’ll be calling tomorrow.

i signed up for Unilocal with the primary intention of reviewing this business. david kendall was incredibly helpful to me over the phone, and very diligent and professional in person. i actually called him on two separate occasions, and the first time he talked me through the repair over the phone, never requesting any payment or anything. the second time it was determined he would need to come out, and i unwittingly made an appointment for a time when i wouldn’t be there. when i rescheduled, he was very understanding, and again, didn’t charge any sort of fee (which i would believe would be within his right to do). and not to mention the work performed (on an old dryer) was so professional, he’s obviously very knowledgeable, that i now know who to call when i need appliance help. as i mentioned at the outset, i’m not very often inspired to review businesses, but my impression of this operation was so good i was simply compelled to do so.
