Jarmon Limousine and Transportation Services

My husband and I arrived in Nashville on April 25 and purchased a $ 50 round trip airport shuttle to and from our hotel. The return trip was a pick up of 4:00 am on April 29. On April 29 we waited in front of our hotel for 30 minutes. We left 4 messages and no return calls. We ended up contacting über and the driver came within 5 minutes.
I contacted Jarmon when I arrived home and they said they didn’t have a record of the return reservation. I told the representative I had a voucher from them and said I would email/​text to him. They gave me a refund of $ 25 even though I felt for the inconvenience they should have refunded more. They didn’t even apologized. It was stressful waiting for the airport shuttle at 4:00 am.
Über saved us.
I should have reviewed Unilocal before using Jarmon. I recommend NOT to use them!

This is the only 1 star review I have ever given any service, restaurant, hotel, or attraction. I think it will be obvious why. I was in town for a conference, and the conference organizers recommended Jarmon. Clearly, the organizers had never used Jarmon before.
When I arrived, I stood at the counter for 3 minutes before the rep greeted me, even though she wasn’t on the phone and wasn’t with another customer. When I went to pay, I apologized for not knowing my pin number. I had just received a new chipped card for work, and the pin number was somewhere in interoffice mail when I left for Nashville. I asked if there was a work around since I hadn’t yet received my pin number. The woman loudly and sarcastically mumbled «I bet you did.» Even if you’re thinking this, keep this to yourself, and don’t let the customer hear!
After purchasing my round trip ticket, I went outside and waited about 15 minutes for the shuttle. Not too bad, but the woman in front of me had been waiting for 30 minutes, so I got lucky with my timing. The driver was friendly as we boarded, but turned into a road rage monster once we headed into downtown Nashville, yelling at other drivers, aggressively weaving through lanes, and constantly honking his horn. I’m from Philly so I’m used to some aggressive driving, but this took it to another level and was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
The day before I was to fly out, I called Jarmon three times, beginning at 6pm. No one ever answered. Finally, on my fourth attempt at 7:30pm a woman picked up. When I asked if I could make a reservation for the next day she said «sorry, we don’t take reservations after 7:00pm.» Wait, what? I asked if I could leave my details with her and she said she didn’t take reservations but that she could transfer me to the reservations line and I could leave a message. I left a message repeating my name, number, pick up time, and location twice, just to make sure all of my information was clear. I asked for them to call me back in the morning to confirm.
By the next day at noon I hadn’t heard back, so I tried calling back. No surprise, after FOUR attempts with no answer, I was feeling pretty frustrated. On the fifth attempt, a woman picked up and transferred me to the reservation desk. Of course, no one picked up at the reservation desk. I called back the front desk, no answer. Called back again, got the same woman, and explained that I did not want to leave yet another message. She put me on hold and physically walked over to the reservation desk. When she came back she said she couldn’t find the reservation rep anywhere. She kindly took down my pick up location, pick up time, name, and number.
Fast forward to 3:30, the time I had scheduled my pick up. No shuttle. I have a cab number ready because my expectations of Jarmon are pretty low. At 3:40, I call Jarmon, no answer. At 3:45, on only my second attempt, miracle of miracles, someone answers. I ask where my shuttle is and she says «oh, we don’t have you on the schedule.» Now I know why the front desk doesn’t take reservations. Luckily, the woman says that there is a shuttle due in the area between 3:45 and 4. It arrives at 3:55 and I am the first passenger. We swing around town to pick up other passengers, and I finally get to the airport at 4:25. I understand that shuttles pick up more than one person, so if for some reason you decide to use Jarmon after reading all these horrible reviews (like I did), just budget your time in case you are the first to be picked up. It took me 30 minutes to get to the airport instead of the 10 minutes google maps said it should take. On the ride back to the airport, I had the same aggressive driver who, again, yelled at other drivers, honked constantly, and drove aggressively. As I had read other Unilocal and Google reviews, I expected the service to be unreliable, so I gave myself plenty of time to get to the airport. Therefore, I didn’t miss my flight or anything like that.
In short, I would not recommend Jarmon to my worst enemy. Sure it is cheap, but it’s not worth it. Take it from someone who clips 50 cent coupons. I would gladly pay the flat $ 25 each way to have a reliable taxi ride instead of the $ 25 roundtrip that Jarmon offers. With the rude customer service, never being able to get through by phone, uncomfortable and unprofessional rides, and unreliable reservations, you are really getting what you pay for. Save yourself the headache and hassle and take a taxi or the bus. As the rest of my Nashville trip was very positive, it was disappointing to have my experience bookended by two bad experiences with Jarmon.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE (and I hesitant to call it a service). Paid for a round trip from the airport. I was told call 24 hrs before to set up my return ride. Called six different times and got the answering machine. Left a message– they never called back. Finally got a hold of them the morning of my afternoon flight. They were FORTY MINUTES late in picking me up– no explanation given. Do yourself a favor and call UBER!

Wish I had seen the other reviews first. Called «night before» at 8:30 pm for a 6am pickup. Lady on phone says «oh my gosh, why did you wait so late to call?» When I said I was instructed to call the night before and there’s nothing on the reservation card she said — «oh well it’s right here on my monitor. Reservations close at 7pm.» THAT’S GREAT BUT ITS NOT ON THE CARD YOU GAVE ME FOR MY ROUNDTRIP!
Don’t use these people. The ROUNDTRIP is bait and switch for visitors to the city.

I’ve decided I don’t want to use this service anymore. It isn’t worth the cheaper price. You’ll wait 45 – 60 minutes in the shuttle waiting to get to your place of stay. The staff that answers the phone is rude. And the staff at the airport is rude. We waited for 30 mins past the time they were supposed to pick us up from the hotel to go back to the airport and then got an Über because we couldn’t wait any longer without missing our flight. No more… Jarmon!

The organization I was working for in Nashville was only willing to reimburse the Jarmond shuttle, not full cab fare, so I ended up utilizing this shuttle for that reason alone. My experience was fine, but there could be some tweaking to make the service better.
I arrived at 6:35 AM to discover the shuttle service desk does not open until 7 AM, and the first shuttle does not leave until 7:15 AM. This was fine so I just hung out for a bit. I bought a round trip ticket for $ 25. I was the only person on the shuttle, and I was dropped off at my hotel fairly quickly. The driver was very safe and didn’t drive crazy during rush hour.
After reading the reviews for Jarmond, I was SO stressed about getting back to the airport. I will confirm that getting them on the phone is more than challenging. I called and left multiple messages with no return calls, but I did eventually get someone in the phone. I had to set a special pick up for 5:30 AM because I had an early flight. I gave myself enough time that I could call a cab in case of a no show, but I worried for no reason. The shuttle driver was there at 5:15, and we left early. The driver was nice and very professional. There were two of us on the shuttle, both because we were working on the same show and had the same requirements.
I don’t know how this service would be any time other than early morning, but it was fine for my needs. Neither driver checked that I had a pass, which was interesting. I would use this shuttle again but would prefer a cab.

15 minutes late plus making more stops before heading to airport, offers $ 5.00 off to some not others find some other transportation!

I would not recommend Jarmon and will not be using them again.
The main reason: The driver made a side trip to pick up another jarmon company driver off of one of the highway exits and proceeded to drop this gentleman off at his personal home before I was taken to my destination. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I emailed Jarmon’s customer service immediately after my trip and received no response. It has been almost a month.
My full experience: I recently scheduled a $ 64 shuttle trip online from Nashville international airport to fort Campbell (20^th replacement) five days in advance. I specifically wrote in the comments of my reservation that I was going one street over from 20^th replacement to fryer stadium located on wickham st., as that is where my car was parked. When I arrived at the desk after my flight, I was told I would have to pay $ 107 for door-​to-​door service as the shuttle service could not take me one street over from 20^th replacement. If that is the company policy then I understand, but I would have liked to have been told this sooner. So, I paid the extra money for door-​to-​door, but then was made to wait 45 minutes to take the scheduled shuttle service despite explaining to the girl behind the desk that this made no sense — as I was now paying almost double for door-​to-​door.
Essentially I paid $ 43 extra for door-​to-​door service, but still received the same shuttle service for an extra tenth of a mile of driving.
As mentioned above, the driver made a side trip to pick up another jarmon company driver off of one of the highway exits and proceeded to drop this gentleman off at his personal home before I was taken to Fort Campbell. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
Jarmon’s customer service department would not even acknowledge my complaint.

They charge $ 15 for one way; $ 25 for a round trip. Buy the one way ticket. NOT the two way (as the other reviews before me have stated).
They are great for a ride from the airport to your hotel in Downtown or West End. They go to Downtown first, but my trip to the hotel in West End took ~30 minutes. I didn’t have to wait for a shuttle from the airport. There was one waiting right outside the airport when I arrived. So, I bought a ticket at the counter in the ground transportation area and hopped on. Quick and easy.
But, I highly recommend using a taxi/​Über/​Lyft for the trip back to the airport.
My story: I needed to be picked up on the way back to the airport from a different area than the hotel where I was dropped off. I was already at my hotel, so I decided to call the number on my receipt. I called repeatedly, but no one picked up. I then called the number on their website and was transferred to a lady who simply stated «we usually pick up there at 3:30.» Um, What? This is the same exact time they told me they would pick me up from my hotel.
Also when Jarmon dropped me off, they did not drive around the area doing pick-​ups. I don’t know if there is a separate shuttle that does pick-​ups. I had a feeling that I if I used them, I would be waiting around forever and no one would show up.
Jarmon didn’t seem reliable, and I didn’t want to miss my flight, so I ended up using Lyft on the way back. The ride back from West End area was $ 20 using Lyft.
It also seems that Jarmon has a monopoly at the Nashville airport. They are listed as the official transportation system for the Nashville airport, and were the only shuttle around.
tl;dr — They are a cheap, convenient option to get from the airport to your hotel if you are not in a rush. BUT, they may leave you stranded on the way back to the airport.

I usually book Super Shuttle in advance when on travel but Nashville does not have this service, so I figured I would take my chances at the airport. Jarmon/​Wise gets your attention because they are in a prominent location as you exit for cabs. I purchase my fare from the agent and he up-​sells me to a round-​trip (no problem, I do need the ride). One way is $ 15.00 and RT is $ 25.00. My ride to the hotel was prompt and rather than wait for the next shuttle, I chose to stand, but the trip downtown is about 15 minutes so no big deal. My driver was friendly and courteous so no problems there. My issue is the return trip to the airport. They don’t do any logistics or planning how to get all the people they transported back to the airport. Everything is 1^st come 1^st served and it was mayhem at the hotel as literally 200 people, apparently all with the same flight times are struggling to get on a 12 – 14 passenger vehicle. I walked 1 block from the hotel and caught the public transportation’s 18 express for $ 2.25, and probably beat many of my fellow travelers back to BNA. Another option would be to catch a cab and split the fare with a buddy. 25 bucks flat rate but you can split it with another traveler for a dollar. They apparently don’t have to compete so they think they can treat you any kind of way. Did I mention that they stopped answering the phones? I could go on, but you see the stars I gave.

This is a perfect case of a company with no competition and an imcompetent dispatch with poor communication skills. Do not expect them to leave when they say they will leave. I was told Noon. Then, when I arrived, I was told 12:15. I am still standing here at 12:45 and expect to leave about 45 minutes late because they just took another party before me. The lady at the counter said she would not refund any money and that they leave when they want to leave. If you need a ride and have $ 50 to spend on it AND have all day to wait, then maybe these guys are for you.

This shuttle is a godsend. For only $ 15 they’ll take you to and from BNA door to door. This was very helpful when I took Greyhound to Nashville and rented a car at the airport. On my way back I was able to be dropped right across from the Greyhound station. With a bad back and heavy luggage it helped not to have to hike three blocks up a hill! Thank you Jarmon! I am extremely appreciative!

Seems like a great deal ($ 15 one way, $ 25 round trip) if you want to wait around even after they stress for you to ‘be early’.
The concierge at the hotel told us, as we waited, ‘sometimes they’re early, sometimes they’re late.’ I think our driver was late because he had to pick up McDonald’s, not to mention, he was eating and driving. He also shared his disdain for cab drivers who ‘just got off the plane from the Middle East with their offensive body odors and inappropriate eating-​while-​driving habits.‘
He also griped about the ‘failure to yield’ as he floored it to cut someone off. I would have sent an email with my concerns, however, the ‘Contact Us’ link on their website wasn’t working.

I’m giving this 5 stars because the driver Duane– not sure of the spelling was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly and a tour guide of sorts to boot. My only complaint is that we seemed to wait at the terminal for an eternity while awaiting riders to fill the shuttle.

Nice drivers but their dispatchers are incompetent. After a forty minute wait my shuttle at Nashville airport finally came, picked up seven of us, left the airport… Then turned around snd went BACK to the airport! To pick up one person… Then waited around for awhile for more.
Heck of a way to treat tired incoming customers.

This review is only for service from the airport to downtown via their Downtown West End Express shuttle.
Wanting to save some money, I opted for a shuttle to downtown instead of a cab. The fare happened to be $ 14 one way or you could pay $ 25 for round trip. Jarmon happened to be the only shuttle service that I saw on the ground transportation are once I got off of the escalators. Though to be fair, I had just gotten off of an early morning flight and I wasn’t looking too hard for other options.
The shuttle appeared to run on a 15 minute interval schedule. If you happen to have to wait, there is an enclosed waiting room by their pick up location at the airport. The shuttle itself seemed to be in good condition. It had 14 seats and a luggage rack. The driver friendly and helpful with luggage if assistance was needed.
If you are looking to get into downtown at a discount and time isn’t really an issue, it is a good option as time to hotel is dependent upon the number of people on the shuttle and the number of stops in which the driver has to make.

I echo previous comments regarding the airport shuttle. They were late and then yelled at me. Poor customer service. Luckily I left plenty of time so was still able to make my flight, but no thanks to them. The driver and the clerk at the office bickered continuously. The driver texted while driving. What a mess! Bring back grayline please!!!

The service FROM the airport to downtown is fine. However, do not be fooled into buying a discounted roundtrip ticket. My scheduled shuttle never showed up (actually, the company claims it did, but the hotel bellman and I standing right at the front door never saw it), so I had to take a cab to catch my flight, and the company wouldn’t give me a refund on my unused return-​trip ticket.
