Great service! Wait staff was awesome and the manager was attentive and took care of us. We tried something new, both my husband and I, and neither were too thrilled with the food. He got a meatball and mozzarella calzone, I got a specialty pizza, spinach, Gorgonzola and mozzarella. Normally we love their food but those 2 particular plates we won’t do again. The calzone may have been better had we gotten the crock of sauce but that was missed by the waiter. Great place to eat overall.

Every time I go the service is very good and efficient. The pizza is okay but the flatbreads are a must have! At times they have seasonal salads which are definitely worth trying. Spinach and artichoke dip is to die for!

Lui Lui has been around and I’ve been there a few times. I don’t remember ever being impressed during those visits but the recent visit was exceptional because of the man who served us. Very attentive, genuinely caring and I hate that I forgot his name! My husband loves the pizza — it’s the right kind of dough for him. I love the tiramisu dessert also. The service though is what left a greater impression in my mind. When I get his name I will update this review!

I am a native to Nashua and have never heard much about this place. I ended up receiving a coupon there so decided to give it a try on their«3 course for $ 12.99 Sunday’s.» Big mistake. My boyfriend and I walked in and the place had two other families in the entire restaurant. We went at about 6:45PM and couldn’t believe how dead it was. They ended up sitting us RIGHTNEXT to other people(like the half booth, half table configuration and the people were less than 2 feet away). We could hear all of their conversation and they could hear ours. It was super awkward and the entire restaurant was open for seating! Also while sitting there, our neighbors were fighting and the son was begging is mom for money to fix his car… Not an environment we wanted to eat in… There was nothing on the menu about the 3 course offering and after telling the waitress«yes, it is our first time actually», she didn’t mention their special. There is a sign outside advertising it but it doesn’t list which entrees to choose from either… we told her we wanted to do the 3 course for $ 12.99 and picked entrees. She brought our dinner over and we didn’t see her again for around 35 – 40 minutes. By the time she returned, we hadn’t had water for around 20 minutes, the people next to use were finally leaving, and we wanted to leave for a while. The bill came and our meals were not $ 12.99… I mentioned the deal and she just brushed it off that our meals were extra… Thanks for telling us? The food was mediocre. If you want good Italian, don’t go there. Will not be back.

During our last two visits we ended up walking out because we were never greeted by a server. We decided to give the restaurant one more chance. We arrived before 8PM and we were greeted by the hostess who put us in a booth in an area where other patrons were dining. We saw servers walk by our table, we made eye contact with the hostess who was roaming around, but no one came to our table. We sat there for almost fifteen minutes before we decided to get up and leave. We would have mentioned something to the hostess, but she wasn’t at her station when we left.

Excellent Happy Hour specials! Salads were very good, pizza was so-so. We were a little disappointed with the pizza. The crust was not as crisp and not as flavorful as we expected. Not cooked enough. Service was great! We’ll try it again!

Had the chicken Lui Lui and chicken Marsala express lunch. Both were very good. Marsala was much better, more flavor. We are at the bar downstairs and our bartender was great!

Food was decent, portions were large and sufficient. Order — we ordered the Cranberries and Gorgonzola salad and Rustica pizza. Salad was okay, nothing special. Serving size was good. The pizza base was good but a bit too soggy in the middle. Overall the pizza was a bit of downer and cause of slightly lower rating. Maybe an outlier and i would have another go before giving the verdict. Ambience is good and it is family friendly. The service was prompt and nice. I might visit again and update the ratings if the next serving is better.

Decent food and they even have a gluten free menu if you need it. Great place to go with a couple people, grab a pizza and some drinks and you’ll have a good time. However, if you have a group of five or more for some reason the waitresses become really rude. It seems as if you are a huge burden and they would rather do anything else but help you. I understand a large group can be overwhelming but this has happened to me every time I have gone here with a group of five or more people. It made me uncomfortable at how differently I was treated and made me not really want to bring my business there. Like I said though you have a few people and want a good pizza it’s great to stop in. Just if you have a lot of people I would suggest going somewhere else.

I really hate to do this. I used to love this place. The drinks were fabulous, food excellent, and was our favorite date night location. But tonight, our third time trying consecutively, the drinks were exceedingly sub par, and the food was bland. We stayed in the bar area, and the ambiance was nice, as normal, and bartenders were polite, though busy and rushed. We ordered 2 drinks off the menu which were just«eh,» then a few we asked them to make«Washington apple» and a «gin, st Germaine and lime juice,», which were both better than the menu drinks but still made badly. Food was a make your own Flatbread, where they forgot two ingredients, and I got the lui lui special(garlic lemon sauce over chicken, broccoli and penne), which used to be my fav dish but was dry and tasteless. I wish I can like this place again, but this is now the 4th time. Food was … fair, drinks sub par. Hope it improves again, but will be a while before we are back, might need a large gift card :-)

This is the second time I’ve been to Lui Lui’s but the first time with my family. Tonight, we came here for a late dinner. We came so late that the upstairs was closed and had to sit downstairs. The walls downstair were decorated with movie posters in Italian and black framed photos of celebrities. The service and food were better this time as compared to last time(July 2014). Tonight, we ordered an Angry Orchard and another pale ale, Mussels Italiano, Roasted Beet Salad, Chicken Piccata, Rustica Pizza, and Brownie Sundae. Our server brought a basket of fresh dinner rolls with herb olive oil dipping sauce while we waited for our food to be served. The Mussels Italiano consisted of a half dozen of small to medium sized PEI mussels, sautéed with chopped garlic, cooked in white wine and butter, and topped with fresh tomatoes and basil. We felt that the sauce was flavorful but some of the mussels were sandy. The Roasted Beet Salad consisted of mesclun mix, brick oven roasted beets, green apples, spicy pecans, goat cheese, and balsamic dressing. Honestly, it didn’t look very appealing to eat. When it was served, it was missing the key ingredient — the beets(and green apples), and the balsamic drizzle came on the side. The Chicken Piccata consisted of hand pounded and egg battered chicken, pan sautéed with minced shallots, capers, and wine wine, and served over linguine with fresh lemon butter sauce. The dish was delicious but we felt that the pasta was too buttery. This entrée came with a choice of a cup of soup or a side house salad or Caesar salad. We picked the Soup of the Day which was Italian Wedding soup. The soup consisted of spinach, onion, carrot, celery, and meatballs in a salty broth. We were curious about the pizza here so we ordered a large Rustica pizza. The Rustica pizza was a tomato sauce based pizza with sautéed eggplant, marinated artichoke, caramelized onions, and mozzarella. We felt that the combinations of toppings created a nice blend making every slice sweet and savory. However, we felt the crust was hard(and could have been puffier). We ended our meal with a Brownie Sundae. The Brownie Sundae consisted of room temperate brownie, topped with french vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and dusted with powdered sugar. It’s perfect for those who have a sweet tooth and it’s the perfect portion to share among 2 – 4 guests!
