So many flavor options it’s overwhelming! I got the kid size which came with two scoops and was plenty! I chose the caramel tsunami(caramel ice cream, caramel ribbons and truffles) and chocolate tsunami(chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips and brownie). Both were deliciously rich! I’ll be back on my next visit to Nashua! Love Haywards!

I don’t know why this place gets such good reviews. The ice cream is certainly not as good as other local shops. While the service is good, their high prices and bland flavors just don’t do it for me. I took my son for a frappé two nights ago and it was $ 6. He asked for whipped cream at the start of the order and when it came, they wanted another buck for it. Seriously!!! 7.00 bucks!!!

Hayward’s provides a top notch ice cream stand experience including easy parking, good seating, numerous ordering windows, friendly staff, large ice cream flavor suggestions, and generous portions. I love the homemade waffle cones – a rare treat. So often the waffle cones you receive in most local ice creams stands are prepackaged versions. The prices are fair. The ice cream consistency is rich, creamy, and smooth. And the product is fresh. The one disappointing factor is the flavor intensity. I found the coffee flavor – always a classic – to be lacking. It needed more coffee zing. I was drawn to try the Flutternutter flavor after feeling a pang of childhood nostalgia. It was good, but needed more marshmallow and even peanut butter swirls to make it taste as though it was a Flutternutter sandwich. It was good, but tasted more like vanilla with a bit of flavoring.

Seriously, one of the best ice cream stands in NH. No doubt. With a wide variety of flavors and excellent customer service, this place certainly has their competitors beat… *cough cough KINGCONE cough* Their ice cream is rich and absolutely delicious, my personal fave thus far has to be their cake batter, although I have yet to find a flavor I don’t enjoy. Hayward’s. Doing my last name proud.
