I’m uploading a picture that shows they closed early. Google and Unilocal says they’re open til 930 and we just drove all the way here for nothing!

The staff seems annoyed when a customer shows up. They have a monotone voice when explaining the process like they are put out that you have not been here before. Is very overpriced for what you get and really is not worth it. With all the fresh local places in the area I wonder why I went here…

I have never had ice cream made right in front of my eyes, before. This is definitely an interesting concept. It gives you a chance to customize the flavor to your liking. I chose the number four, which is the Bernoulli Brûlée. Absolutely delicious! The ice cream was smooth and creamy, with out any crystalization. The flavor was something I never tasted in an ice cream, before. I was pleasantly surprised. When they make your creation, you have a choice of soft, medium or hard consistency. About the only thing I wish they had was beverages. As much as I enjoy ice cream, I cannot eat it without something to drink.

I enjoyed the creative and fun experience at this tucked away ice cream shop in a strip mall. That said, the ice cream was okay. I was looking for more flavor; the consistency was good – smooth and creamy. I prefer Hawksie’s or my all time local favorite, Benson’s. I probably should have got chocolate chips to mix in to my cherry cheesecake flavored ice cream to add more interest and texture. As first timers, the friendly and helpful staff member walked us through the different options and flavors. They only offer cups of ice cream with a waffle bowl. It’s not the same as my regular waffle cone order at other shops. Sub Zero is a good option if you’re in the area, but don’t go out of your way.

They also offer smoothies & shakes($ 3.79), ice cream«PI»(starting at $ 14.99)„ ice cream to go(pints(starting at $ 4.99) & quarts(starting at $ 9.49)), Sub Zero Steamers, and«PI» slices($ 2.50) too. I stopped in at Sub Zero Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt since I had to use up a $ 30 certificate. I decided to order two ice cream«PI“s(pies) to bring home. The friendly staff explained the menu and process of creating ice cream using liquid nitrogen. There are thousands of combinations that can be created! For the first ice cream«PI», I chose Oreo crust, low fat milk, mocha, coffee, Oreos mix-in, topped with whipped cream & brownie batter drizzle. For the second ice cream«PI», I chose graham cracker crust, yogurt, pumpkin flavor, peanut butter cup mix-in, topped with whipped cream, peanut butter sauce drizzle. First, the liquids(creams), flavorings, and mix-ins were measured into bowls and flash frozen(several seconds) several times with liquid nitrogen jets while being mixed by hand into homemade ice cream. It looked like a science lab in here! The dense ice cream was distributed and spread into the pie crust shells and liquid nitrogen was applied to the ice cream«PI“s. Next, the whipped cream & drizzles were topped onto the pies and liquid nitrogen was applied to the completed pies and boxed up. The total for 2 ice cream«PI“s with mix-ins was $ 31.50. I enjoyed my ice cream«PI“s for dessert as soon as I got home. Both ice cream«PI“s(still very cold and not melted) were fantastic, creamy dense texture and good sweet flavors. This is definitely a premium quality cold sweet dessert, which went very well with my mug of hot coffee.
