For Eyes Optical

I don’t get eye exams done regularly, so I was trying to find a good place to go. I was recommended to For Eyes by one of their customers that have been going there for years, and was told that they had great customer service. It was also just $ 79 for a basic eye exam if they didn’t take my insurance, which seemed cheap compared to some other places that would provide the same exam. They also had many openings, so it was quick and easy to make an appointment, which was nice. I was able to see them within a few days of calling, compared to waiting a week or two for other places. When I got there, the receptionists seemed very pleasant. While I was in the waiting area, it seemed the other employees really took the time to help customers find the right frames and made sure the customers were happy with the glasses they chose. During the exam, the doctor was really nice. At the end, she took the time to talk about the results and she also answered any questions I had. I went to Walmart for my frames to save a few dollars. But For Eyes had a large selection of frames, with relatively low prices compared to other stores.

Been working with this team for over 10 years and could not ask for better care for my eyes. I initially went to them because they were the only ones who COULD fill me eye glasses prescription strength. I had natal cateracts & needed a specialist. What I found was a very professional & caring team to support my eye care needs. Dr Fung is a particular delight. She won’t do what she hasn’t been trained for, but she is good and extremely caring with the recommendations she needs to give for a specialist. The rest of her staff is just as professional, friendly & caring. I and my husband trust them with our eyes! They are very thorough and ensure great coordination with physicans (we’re both diabetic) and other specialists. They DO take many insurance plans and accept BCBS Vision supplemental plan. Please remember this is a chain, subject to the franchise requirements regarding business practices & insurances accepted.

VERY unhappy :((Bought glasses abt 1 year ago. I am a woman in her 50’s and
not rough on glasses and have worn them for abt 45 yrs too. One glass lense fell
out a total of 4 times in a little over a year! This has NEVER happened to me before.
This is the one and only pair of glasses I will get here. They fixed them each time ‚
but did not seem to care that I ALWAYS need to carry an extra pair «just in case»
They were basically like OH WELL!!! BAD customer service!!!

Don’t go here if you have Vision Service Plan. They say they take the insurance, but really do not, just give you a slight discount. Then they won’t give you your prescription if you decide to go to an In Network provider.
